'I.. I uhh..' Harry was stuttering, couldn't get his words out. This was hell on earth, I wish he would just spit it out so that I could leave and go home. I don't want to hear what he has to say, but I know I have to listen.
'I.. FUCK SAKE. Sorry. I..' he grabs his fresh glass of wine, downing it in a matter of seconds and slamming the glass back down onto the table. 'I.. will..Jesus Christ. I am so sorry, I am fucking useless at this shit. Look.. us. Can we.. I want us to.. girlfriend..' Harry was making no sense.
'Harry you are making no sense, what are you trying to say?'
'Will you just be my fucking girlfriend? Shit, sorry. That was rude. Be my girlfriend? Please?'
Oh. Oh, that wasn't what I was expecting. I jump up and drag Harry with me, throwing my arms around him. 'Yes, yes. One thousand times yes!' I kiss him on the cheek, remembering we are in a restaurant and sitting back down.
Harry beamed at next across the table, holding my hand as he asked for the bill. I get the feeling my life is about to go 0-60 in a matter of seconds.

In the weeks that followed, Harry and I slowly let all of our nearest and dearest know the news. But most of all we just enjoyed being in our own little bubble, the two of us against the world.
I moved out of the apartment I shared with Alex and George to one just down the hallway. Close enough that it feels as though I still love with them, but with my own space. Room for me to work.
Freezy and Lux helped me to turn my spare room into a mini warehouse - putting shelving up to make packing easier, whilst Harry worked on a surprise for me.

I couldn't believe my eyes when he led me to my bedroom, only to find that he had set up the most amazing desk in front of the enormous window. My own space to create my designs, with storage to keep all of my craft supplies in. I was over the moon, having spent the past years working away from a cramped desk, surrounded by boxes of paper and blades.
The boys were adamant that I needed to have a house-warming party, but although I wasn't so sure I agreed. The party bit was fine, it was the mess the morning after that I really couldn't be bothered with.
I spent my Saturday morning putting up decorations, shopping for alcohol and hiding anything breakable. After all - we know how Harry and Freezy are once drunk!
As it neared 6pm I decided I really ought to hop in the shower and get ready. Everyone was arriving at around 8pm, so I really didn't have long. Once out, I dried and styled my hair, slipped on a black mini dress and heels and applied my make-up. I was beginning to get excited for the night ahead, so I perched myself at my kitchen island and opened a bottle of Prosecco. Time to get my drink on!

Void Breaker
Note: Sadly, this story is currently on hiatus :( Elizabeth Sayler had lost everything in the bombing of Reaver Stadium. Her career, her fame, her power — all of it vanished the moment she lost use of her legs. Now, she's beginning to lose hope of ever healing herself… until her world integrates into the Void. When the apocalypse comes in a flurry of System messages, everyone on earth is given a choice: give up what they value most in themselves, and acquire a path to their heart’s greatest desire. Most would hesitate, but for Liz? She has nothing to lose, and absolutely everything to gain. Armed with newfound powers in a world teeming with monsters, she’s determined to not only survive, but to somehow break the Void’s endless assault. * * * This is a small note about the portrayal of disability in this story. As much research as I do and as many people as I ask, I will in the end only be able to understand a small portion of paraplegia and similar disabilities. Therefore, if there is anything particularly disrespectful, please do not hesitate to contact me. I always intended to portray disability in a respectful way in this story, but please know that Liz as a character does not start out with a healthy view of disability. This is intentional, and a large part of her character development comes from this view changing as she learns. Disability is not something she simply "discards" at the beginning of the story, but an ongoing theme and a part of her journey.

The Life Between Worlds - Prologue
"Kene comes first." Nephern and Sterthen, previously the first and second captains of the Sun Guard, were exiled. Banished to the edges of the empire that they used to call home. There, just outside of the city of Anghelen and on the edges of the Helefiran - the dark forest - they lived in relative peace, raising their daughter Kene. Nearly a decade has passed, and the "dark forest" hardly lived up to its name. For the two elite soldiers, the creatures that occasionally wandered out of it were barely a nuisance. Until now. Faced with a declaration of war from one of the Empire's oldest foes and the emergence of... something else... the two have to fight to hold onto the life that they built in exile. --- --- --- This story is continued here: The Life Between Worlds - VOL I

The King's Dungeon
The world of Praelium is a simple one. Wake up in the morning, get dressed, eat some breakfast, stare at the outside scenery and look at all the wild monstrosities that roam the landscape. Oh, and you can't forget the constant battle. Or the magic. And the guilds. Infact, Praelium really isn't simple. Everything is a constant battle to survive, as even in the most peaceful of cities, someone or something will always be out there, rooting for your demise. And the thing that cheers the most for the immediate dissipation of your frail soul? Dungeons. Areas of landscape that are unusual in every way. Vast deserts the size of planets, oceans of lava, you name it, a Dungeon can have it. But in this story? We aren't talking about any old, run of the mill, "Hurr durr, monster, battle, treasure!" type of Dungeon. We're talking about the Dungeon of a King. That's right, you heard me loud and clear. We're following the Dungeon of a King, and its Master, Basileus, in their conquest to become Praelium's greatest, most hated. Praelium's most revered, most feared.
