Back in the UK, Lux, Alex and George were thrilled to hear the news too! Josh took all of us out for dinner the celebrate, also passing comment about being godfather.
I had no doubt what so ever that this baby was loved by so many amazing people, and that helped left some of the curtain of fear I was draped in.
'Jess, we need to talk logistics.' Harry and I were curled up in his bed after the celebration dinner, catching up on Riverdale.
'What do you mean?' I rolled onto my back, resting my head in Harry's lap and gazing up at his wonderful face.
'Well if we have a baby on the way, don't you think we should move in together? I know it's incredibly fast, and everything seems to me moving at 100mph, but it makes sense.'
Harry and I discussed it at length, eventually deciding that I would give up my apartment and move in with Harry, Lux and Freezy. There was plenty of room in Harry's room for my desk, clothes and a baby, plus the two Cal's were over the moon to hear that I was moving in. They may not feel quite the same way when there is a baby waking them at all hours!
I had already decided to close my website for the time being - give me time to prepare for the baby, get comfortable in my new life and just concentrate on being creative rather than smashing out designs to keep to a time frame. So by the time moving day came around a few months later, it really was just my desk and craft stuff, clothes, shoes, toiletries and personal belongings.
The boys wouldn't allow me to pack or move a single thing, so I huddled in our bed at Harry's whilst the three of them lugged boxes and bags around.

Another positive of moving in here is Freezy. Since the holiday in LA, we had become incredibly close friends. Often curling up in bed with Harry and watching YouTube or going out for coffee together.
'All done' Harry groaned as he fell on the bed beside me. Freezy fell the other side of me and Lux across the bottom of the bed. 'All you need to do it unpack, and only if your promise not to lift anything heavy!' Harry added.
'Thank you guys, I really could have done it myself though.'
'In your condition? Not a chance!' Freezy lifted his head to look at me as he spoke. 'We have already told you, nothing strenuous!'
'Freezy you know im pregnant, not disabled yeah?' I laughed as I poked him in the shoulder.

Having spent a good hour bent over the toilet, Harry and I were running late to our twenty-week scan. Today was the day that we would hopefully find out if we were expecting a boy or girl! The scan went smoothly, with both of us sobbing at the tiny little heart beating. We asked the sonographer to keep the sex a secret, sealing it into an envelope. That envelope was then given to Freya, Josh's girlfriend. Freya, we decided, had been the only person we could trust with the job of keeping the sex a secret until that evening when all would be revealed. Of course we trusted all of the lads, but they all wanted to find out with us.
At 7pm, Harry and I arrived at the Sidemen house for our gender reveal. Pink and blue balloons were strung up everywhere, along with banners and bunting. A giant balloon hung in the entrance hall over the stairs - the one thing that stood between us and the gender of our baby.

Gee had made jugs of cocktails, including a non-alcoholic one for me. So we all grabbed our drinks and chatted excitedly about the baby. 9pm Freya came and grabbed Harry and I, insisting it was time to do the reveal. She positioned us at the bottom of the stairs under the balloon whilst Josh and Simon set up several cameras. This was also how were announcing the news online, so we only had one shot at getting it right.
'We are ready' Simon said as he pressed record on the final camera before moving back to join the rest of the boys. Alex, George and Will were there too, not wanting to miss out.
'3..2..1' everyone shouted in unison. Harry handed me the giant pin, and I stabbed it into the side of the balloon. It popped with an Almighty bang, showering us in confetti. Blue confetti. The baby is a boy!

Displacement
or, Deux Navires Passant dans la Nuit If you wake up in a new world, with only your memories of home to guide you, you have to trust the first people you meet. The first people Leah meets seem to know her - but not her. Leah is thrust into a fighter's role that does not quite suit her, and those who 'rescued' her do their best to help her fit in. They hint at a world that Leah can only vaguely understand without serious research and exploration, but how to do that research, when everyone believes her to be a local of this place, and too many questions might draw unwanted attention? And what about home? The more Leah learns about this world, the less she believes that she woke up on the right side of the bed - or more accurately, on the right side of the conflict. With magic being strictly regulated in her current "home," maybe it's time to uproot and look for a new set of allies... -- Displacement is a queer / lgbt bodyswap isekai: Leah Armande falls out of a Quebecois city into an unfamiliar fantasy world, and Leah Talesh falls out of her adventuring party's homeland and into an unfamiliar industrial world. The story follows both women as they navigate their new surroundings, trying at times to find a way home, at times just to pass for a local, and at times to actually make a life for themselves in their new world. Expect in-depth politics and worldbuilding, sapphic moments, foibles, and far too much time spent either in libraries or convalescing (or sometimes both).
