《Levi's Sick Day》It's Cuddle Time, Bitch

(Y/n)'s POV:
Levi let out a harsh gag and I scrambled for the trash bin. I was too late though because just as I grabbed it, I heard him let out a wet belch which was soon followed by a thick stream of vomit. With the trash bin in hand, I quickly got back on the bed and shoved it under Levi's chin.
I rubbed his back as he continued to loudly cough and sputter into the bin as his stomach forced itself up his throat.
Levi then mid-puke, jumped up and rushed to his bathroom. Running after him to see why he moved to the bathroom, I promptly had the door slammed in my face. My question was soon answered when I heard him let out a wet fart. I wiggled the door knob and found that it was unlocked. I gently knocked on the door to let him know I was coming in, and then carefully pushed it open.
As the door opened I was met with a putrid smell. I bit back my own gag as I looked over at Levi. He looked miserable. His bowels were forcefully expelling themselves once again and his stomach seemed to have the same idea. I walked over to him and placed my hand on his back to try and provide some form of comfort.
Once he was reduced to dry heaves and farts I stepped out of the bathroom to let him get cleaned up. When the door opened again, I was met with a heart breaking sight. Levi was standing there gripping the wall for support, his face so pale it looked like a sheet and he was on the verge of fainting. I ran over and grabbed his waist, placing his arm around my shoulder so he wouldn't collapse.

I practically dragged him back to bed as his knees gave out half way there. Once we reached his bed, I gently laid him down, careful not to jostle his stomach any further. I quickly placed a cold rag on his forehead then pulled the sheet to his chin. I grabbed the now clean bin and returned it to his bedside to avoid any other accidents.
Once I was sure Levi had drifted off, I grabbed the soiled blanket and walked down to the washing room. After washing the blanket clean, I hung it to dry, making a mental note to pick it up later.
I walked back up to Levi's room and quietly settled back into my chair. Out of habit by now, I gingerly began to tread my fingers through his once again matted hair.
When Levi didn't move, I knew he was fully asleep. I carefully climbed over him and settled into the other side of the bed. I cuddled into his side and began to gingerly glide my fingers up and how his sweat-soaked back. He curled in closer to me and I took that as a sign that it was soothing him.
Before long, I heard a loud, unmistakable voice and then a harsh pounding on the door. I swiftly got up and angrily trudged towards the door. I whipped it open and shoved the annoying girl back into the hallway before she could disturb Levi any more.
"What the fuck do you want Hange?!" I barked out.
"I heard shorty was sick and I wanted to see for my self. Possibly try out something new I've been working on since he really can't get any worse!" I took everything in me not to pummel her as these words rolled from her mouth.

With an irked brow I questioned the dumbass, "are you really that dense as to think I'd let you test one of your shady experiments on my boyfriend, much less when he's THIS ill?!" When her lips dropped into a pout I was done. "I highly suggest you leave and not bother us any time soon, unless you want my foot so far up your ass you'd have to get it surgically removed!!!" With a shocked look on her face, she skidded away.
I let out a small satisfied huff then spun on my heel and walked back to Levi. When I got back to the bedroom, I saw him struggling to sit up with a small smirk on his face.
"Well damn (Y/n), didn't know you had such a violent side." He snickered.
"What did you expect me to do? Shitty glasses wanted to test one of her concoctions on ya. Wasn't about to let her do that when you're already miserable. I'm suppose to be helping you get better, not poison you more. Plus, the bitch was interrupting cuddle time." He just sighed, smirk still resting prominently across he face and opened his arms, asking me to come back to bed.
Seeing him so openly begging for affection made my heart sqeeze and with no hesitation I lept into my lovers awaiting arms. I made quick work of settling myself in his embrace and nuzzled my face into his fever-stricken chest.
We laid like that unmoving, until I heard Levi's breathing even out and small snores coming from him. I carefully readjusted myself so I could play with his soft black locks, trying my hardest not to drift off as well. It didn't work though, because before long I felt my lids get heavy and my eyes fluttered shut. Enjoying the rare moment of affection, I let my body succumb to the sleep it was so desperately begging for. With my resolve gone, I soon joined my boyfriend in the dream world without a single regret.

A Place to Belong - A LitRPG Adventure
Levi was happy with the life he had built for himself. He had a stable job, decent lodgings, and every weekend he alternated between hiking and biking in the mountains outside of town to keep in shape. There might have been downsides, like no real family or friends and an ex-girlfriend he would rather not think about, but he thought his dad would be proud of what he had done with his life. Levi was content with his prefect walled in regimented life, and even if there was a small part of him that wanted more, wanted actual meaningful relationships, he kept that part of him tightly locked away. Those relationships weren’t worth the pain they inevitably caused. But when a powerful supernatural force sweeps through Earth, Levi finds himself forced into a new environment, the social mask he used before no longer valid. With no choice but to survive and grow, he now needs to confront those feelings he thought he locked away for good. The stage is being set for another Great War but who can stop the Book of War once and for all? Now their world is being turned upside down as they struggle to understand the legacy that ties their fate to Mendala and the Book of War. Is their destiny set in stone, or will they forge a different path? No matter what, their choices will bring forth a new era for Mendala. ------------------------------ If you love vast fantasy worlds, rich, fleshed-out characters, and a adventure where your'e constantly discovering new things along the way, then this is definitely a story you'll enjoy. This is a slow-burn high fantasy / adventure with many characters and intersecting plotlines. It’s a quest so lots of adventuring, exploring, and character moments, but not a ton of fighting/action (though there are definitely some great fight scenes as payoff to the buildup). Because it’s a fantasy world with lots of people and new concepts, I try to make it easy so that you don’t have to memorize anything. The narrative will constantly remind you of important people/places/concepts as you keep moving forward. Some things won’t be fully explained right at the beginning to avoid information overload. My goal is that the reader will learn things organically as the story progresses. I use two mechanisms to help with the intersecting plotlines. - Each chapter is named for the (main) plotline it’s following and which part. - At the beginning of the chapter, and anytime there is a scene shift, the location is listed. Also, though this is definitely a portal-fantasy (isekai) it’s different from the standard isekai, especially since the world transfer doesn’t happen immediately. It’s not Lit-RPG but characters gain powers and grow over time. Also, it’s a group of teens that transfer, not just one central character. All of the teens are distinct characters, with their own character-arcs, relationships, powers, growth etc. Hopefully you’ll find this interesting as you’ll see the world and story from multiple perspectives. The story is always in 3rd Person (Omniscient) POV so that it’s not jarring as perspectives shift.
