Shahnoor's POV :-

When I went inside my house, I hear some voices coming from the hall. Are there any guests here? I went in the hall, my eyes widen at the person who came...

Humair?

Why is he here? What is he doing here? And most of all how happily he is talking with ammi. There's also a girl in hijab sitting next to him, who is chirping happily just like my friends do. She is looking of my age.

"Shahno.." Ammi called me.

That's when everyone notice that I am here. His eyes met mine, I look at him questioning while he just smile.

"Wh-"

"Oh god! Shahno! I am happy you are back, I am waiting since last half an hour for you." The girl in hijab cut me off while suddenly jumping on me hugging.

"Ms. Shahnoor, please act along with me as if you are my college friend." She whispered in my ears, my brows knitted in confusion.

"Why?" I asked whispering.

"Cause its all Mr. Humair's plan, so that your mother can allow you to go in his birthday party." She said, my eyes widen as I look at him.

He look at me with a knowing and nodded his head slowly.

"But I can't lie." I said.

"You don't want everything to be messed up, right? Cause it took us half an hour to convince your mother. Please don't ruin it." She said in a pleading tone.

I thought for a while than sighed in dejection.

"Okay~" I replied.

"Oh! You are so kind!" She said after breaking the hug followed by an excited jump.

"Shahno, you didn't informed us that your friend is coming over." Ammi asked me.

"Ammi, tha-"

"Oh! Aunty, she didn't knew that I was coming as I was thinking to give her surprise." The same girl again cut me off.

"Okay, you got really good friend shahno. Humaira is really a kind girl." Ammi said.

Humaira?

"Thanks aunty." the girl replied.

Oh! So she is humaira.

"Let's sit Shahno." Humaira chirped.

"Um..wait let me get freshen up first." I said, she nodded.

"You come fast, I'll make some more refreshments and chai (tea). You will like it beta." Ammi said to humair.

"Honestly, I would love it cause I didn't have mother who made me home cooking." He said with a embarrassing smile.

I felt bad for him, he is just like Shahzaib bhai without being loved by their mother. Maybe that is one of the reason that they are friends.

"Oh! Son, there's no need to be sad about it now. And you should have dinner with us." Ammi said to him.

Good ammi, I am happy you said that to him cause a smile formed on his lips.

"I would loved to but I have very important work to attend in 1 hour, I can't stay for long. Its just Humaira was begging me to bring her to her friend's. That's why I came." He lied.

I almost rolled my eyes at his acting, such a good actor. A round of a applause needed.

"Yes aunty, he literally made me beg to come here but anyways we succeeded on our mission." Humaira said with a glare towards him.

"What mission?" I asked.

"Your friend's elder brother is throwing a birthday party tomorrow, and she asked ammi's permission to let you be there as you said to her that ammi won't allow you." Abdullah informed me.

I look at ammi, who is looking at me with a knowing smile. I am dead!

"So did ammi said yes?" I asked looking still at her.

"Yes, of course after half an hour of making her understand that I will take care of you like my own daughter. Aunty finally said yes." Humaira said with wide smile.

Over acting!

"Oh!" I said.

"Than, I'll get freshen up." I said pointing my index finger towards my room with nervousness.

"Okay,hurry up." Humaira said.

I walk in my room and wash my face, hand and feet. Than pulled my hair into a high ponytail and applied a little makeup. After taking my dupatta and covering my shoulders with a furry shawl cause its all cold outside, I walked directly towards kitchen. I saw ammi pouring tea into the new cups.

"Even if I had said yes, that doesn't mean you are free to go everywhere. Be careful when you go there. I am not blind shahno, I saw him looking at you with feelings." Ammi said not looking at me.

"Him?" I asked, she looked at me with a boring face.

"I am talking about your friend's elder brother, Humair." She said making my heart jump.

"Don't be ammi, it is not like that." I said nervously.

"Shahno, I am your mother. I have more experience than you and I can assure you this man surely gonna do something. I feel bad about his life experience but if he will ask your hand in marriage than..." She said with having an intention in her eyes.

"Than?" I asked looking at her for answer.

"Than I'll accept it right away." She said looking in my eyes.

My heart dropped in my stomach, how this lead to marriage thing? This is kind of awkward. I never thought of humair like that and he is older than me. Plus I don't want anyone else in my life after what akib did to me not hours ago. He called me twice while I was getting freshen up but I didn't answer his call cause I have guests to attend. I can't take his betrayal on my heart and hold on my room, crying for him my whole life. I am not from that type of girls, I believe Allah has better plans for me. If it is not akib than someone who is close to my Allah.

"Ammi but humair is older than me?" I said.

"That isn't any issue beta, If he can keep you happy, provide with love and care of the world than it is okay with us. And I am not saying that I'll wed you right away with him, If Allah wants it than he will make it happen anyhow." Ammi said.

I look at her, focusing on her words which was right. I can't do anything other than Allah wills it. Okay, let's just Allah handle it. I am already fed up now with this love, relationship and all. I nodded looking at her.

"May Allah bless you with the best of all." She said putting her hand on my head.

"Ammi, what about baba? Although you have given the permission but what if he knew it?" I asked getting anxious.

"Don't worry, he too doesn't seem to worry as long as you will work. Even if he asked than I'll tell Abdullah to tell him that you are at farah's place as she asked for you." Ammi said with a scowl on her face, I nodded.

"By the way, does humair and you have met before?It looks like you two know each other." Ammi asked with a suspicious smile.

"I will serve this now." I said ignoring her accusation and took the tray of tea.

"Okay, go ahead. I'll bring the refreshments." Ammi said.

Thank God, she didn't asked further.

I walked out in the hall and kept the tray on the middle table. I gave the tea to humaira than Abdullah, he is actually addicted to tea and than I gave the cup to humair. He took it with a smile but not looking at me.

Just than Ammi brought the refreshments.

"Beta, have some." Ammi said to humaira and humair.

"Ji (yes)." Humair said.

I quickly made a plate of refreshments keeping in it than gave it to humair. Than stood up, ammi cleared her throat as I look at her. She signaled her eyebrow towards humaira, what? I can't understand what she is saying? I made a face like 'what are you saying?'.

"I think you should make a plate for humaira too." Abdullah said looking at me.

"Oh! Yes - yes." I said and quickly made a plate for her.

After they ate, Humair got a call from his office. He said something important came up and decided to leave. He bid goodbyes to ammi and Abdullah while humaira said that I should walk them out to the car. I look at ammi, she nodded giving me approval. As we walk out of the house, humair walked next to me.

"I am sorry If I had bothered you." He said suddenly.

I didn't look at him as the memories of last night is still fresh in my mind. It felt awkward and embarrassing.

"Its okay but you should have informed me before doing this." I said still looking down as we walked towards his car.

"I am sorry again, I will remember that next time." He said Making me smile.

"That means you will do it again?" I said, he chuckled.

"If needed than I will." He said.

"By the way, who is this girl?" I asked looking at humaira who is busy in her phone.

"She is an stage drama artist, Her name is maria.isn't her acting fabulous?" He asked, I nodded.

"So, is she your friend?" I asked.

"No, just we had worked before twice. I asked her to help me and she said yes." He said.

"Hmm.." I replied.

We stopped in front of his car as turned around towards me with a huge smile on his face.

"I am looking forward to see you tomorrow." He said.

"What do you expect as for your gift?" I asked.

"I don't expect anything as I got lot of them. They didn't mean anything to me as my business partners gave me such for our better relations in the future. I just want you to come." He said with intense eyes piercing in mine.

"I will come, but I'll have to give you gift as it will be the first gift from me to you." I said.

"Okay~ than what will you give?" He asked.

"I already had thought of what I'll give you but you will know it tomorrow." I said while smiling.

"Okay, can I ask you something?" He asked, I nodded.

"Why were you crying again when you came home early?" He asked, my smile dropped.

Should I tell him? What if he will make fun of me? No, now is not the time to tell him. First, I need to ask akib the reason for his betrayal. Yeah after that I'll tell him.

"No its nothing, we'll talk about it later. You leave before its late." I said.

"You sure you are okay?" He asked.

"Yes, don't worry I am totally fine." I said while trying to smile.

"Than I'll leave." He said, I nodded but than I remember something.

"Wait!" I said.

"What is it?" He asked.

"um..Are you free tomorrow morning?" I asked.

"Yes, why?" He asked.

"I want to take you somewhere." I said.

"Where?" He asked.

"That I'll tell you tomorrow just meet me at the main road at 5:45 in morning." I said, he raised his brows.

"That early?" He asked amused.

"Yes that early, now do you have any problem?" I asked.

"No noor, I would love to spend my each second with you." He said, I chuckled.

"Stop being cheesy." I said.

"Than I'll leave now." He said opening the door of driver's seat.

"Allah hafiz." I said.

"Al-Allah hafiz." He replied while pinching the bridge of his nose.

I'll make you fall in love with Allah, I'll try my best that your life will come on right path. Inshallah soon you will start practicing your religion, Islam.

Akib's POV :-

Tears flowed down my cheeks, making my vision blurry again and again. Her face haunting me, making me restless. It's like something is happening to my heart. I betrayed with her, how can I? But I didn't had any choice. I was helpless, helpless in front of the relations which once were broken because of me. Now that they came again in my life, giving me another opportunity I didn't wanna loose it. So I needed to say yes for this marriage. I still remember, how hard it was for me to take such decision..

~Flashback~

I knocked twice on Shahzaib bhai's office as he called me after I dropped shahnoor at her place.

"Come in." I heard he said.

I opened the door and walked in, when I look at front my body froze to find the most important people of my life standing before me. The one who gave me birth, who made me capable of doing everything, who showered their love on me unconditionally... Mom and dad.

My mother's eyes dwelled up with tears, so is my father's. I look at Shahzaib bhai, who's smiling while he nod at me.

My mother came towards me, as she cares my face and hair.

"You are so grown up now, I am happy you look healthy and fine." She said while tears flowed down her slightly wrinkled face.

"I missed you, did you miss me?" She asked, I nodded and quickly hugged her.

After sometime, we sat in Shahzaib bhai's office. Mom and dad now has forgiven me, I don't know how? But they never liked my decision of being a part of Red Devils as they think we do illegal activities.

"I am happy that you have forgiven me, but after so many years how?" I asked.

They both smile looking at each other than they look at me.

"Shahzaib called us, and as soon as he informed us that he has the need to talk about you marriage we got here. Forgetting everything left behind, we decided to forgive you and give our blessings to you and your wife." Dad said with a huge smile.

I got confused, my marriage? With whom? Why do I have uneasy feelings for this?

"We are really happy for you my son." Mom said as she wiped her tears.

"You don't need to cry anymore aunty and first let us ask akib if he says yes for the marriage." Shahzaib bhai said looking at me.

"Bhai~ with whom, you are saying?" I asked with a nervous smile.

And praying that he would take my love's name, Shahnoor.

"He told us everything about the girl, we have even saw her photo. She is beautiful and its a yes from me. I know you won't deny either." Mom said, she is so happy.

"I am talking about..rania." Shahzaib bhai said.

"Ra-rania, raees uncle's daughter?" I asked.

"Yes," He said nodding.

"Last night, he asked me to present this proposal in front of you but I didn't want to just propose it in front of you. Your parents have every right on you, so I want to firstly present it in front of them than you." Shahzaib bhai continued.

My heart clenched in present of such proposal, I...how can I betray my love? She has already has faced many things in life. What should I do? I felt a warm hand on mine. I look at them to find its my mother's.

"Say yes my son, we'll start everything from new." She said Smilingly.

"Yes son, this will be a new start." Dad said.

"O-Okay." I said looking down as tears flowed down my cheeks.

Shahzaib bhai gave me brotherly hug, and thanked me. Where as my mother kissed my forehead and gave me her blessing. Dad too hugged me and patted my shoulder proudly. All while, I smile disheartened.

"Mom and dad, why won't you start living with me? In my house." I said.

"Why not? Now we have to stay with you as we have to prepare for you engagement and than wedding." Mom said with a huge smile.

"That's great than, but uncle and aunty, Akib has some business to take care of now. So I was thinking the engagement can happen after he comes back from this business trip." Shahzaib bhai said.

"No problem." Dad said.

And this is how I became a betrayer of my heart.

~Flashback ends~

God! Damn it! Why won't this tears stop?! I pulled my car at the deserted highway. Resting my head on the seat, I took long breath.

Ring! Ring! Ring!

I took my phone and look at the caller Id, My love it showed. I called her twice but she didn't answer. Well, why would she like to talk with a betrayer? Curse you Akib!

I quickly answered the call,

"Hello?" I said.

"Assalamu alaikum." She said in a dry voice.

"Wa-walaikum assalam." I replied, than the phone went silent. None of us said anything or I say I don't know where to start from.

"Are you..." She started than I heard she took long breath.

"Are you okay, love?" I asked quickly thinking of her disease.

"Don't call me that!" She replied harshly.

"I.. I am not your love, I was your toy who you tried play with but I didn't let it happen. That's why you got bored and thought of another toy.. Rania?" She said as her voice is full of venomous.

"Please, don't say such words lo- shahnoor." I said, I was again about to say love but stopped.

"Why? Why? why? Why don't I say? I hate you! I HATE YOU SO MUCH AKIB!" She shouted, breaking my heart into small pieces.

"But than you know, I pray to Allah that you get all happiness in the world and be safe on your journey. Be safe akib and take care of yourself, never call me again." She said crying.

"I was helpless, I didn't have any choice... I am sorry." I said.

"Your sorry won't heal my broken heart... Meri Allah se yahi guzarish hai ki aapko mere dil ki badduaa na lag jaye, meri zabaan se aapke liye bure alfaz nahi nikalte per mera rota hua dil majboor hai (I request to Allah that you won't get cursed because of my heart, I do not utter bad words for you, but my weeping heart is compelled.)" She said as I can hear her endless sobs.

Tears flowed down my cheeks, I hold the steering wheel with my left hand tightly and put my head on it. Weeping and crying all the way through our hearts.

"How can I curse you... I love you.." She said whispering the last part.

"I love you too, and please forgive me. Please don't cry because of me." I said.

"Than would you do me a favor?" She asked.

"Yes, tell me. I'll do anything for you and I'll always be there for you whenever you need me. Nothing can apart us." I said eagerly on her request.

"Toh phir khuda se duaa mangna ki mein aapko hamesha k liye bhul jau or Aapki zarurat ho aisi naubat naa aaye. (Than please ask Allah that I forget you for forever and may that day never comes when I'll need you)" She said in weighing voice.

My face drop at her words, hands and feet got cold and I can't differentiate between the person I had loved. She hates me, her voice says it all.

"May Allah take care of you, Allah hafiz." She said and before I could say anything she ended the call.

That's it, this was the end of our story..

Abu daud's POV :-

God! I hate waking up so early in the morning but I can't do anything as My love called me just now. I can't believe she gave me a huge lecture cause I wasn't ready and its already 5:30 and we have to meet in 15 minutes at the main road. She is just unbelievable, sometime I thought that what if she knew who I really am? Will she still be the same?
