Theos POV:

I look down at my chest and I smile seeing Ellie in my arms fast asleep, knowing that I'm finally safe and can be with my family again. The nurse came in and told me that I will be able to leave in the morning they want to make sure the swelling of my head goes down first. I smiled at her and said " sounds good thanks for letting me know".

It's the next morning and everything going great I'm about to be discharged when all of a sudden my doctor rushes in and says he needs a MRI of my brain. I was worried but didn't want to wake Ellie up so I carefully slide her over into my bed and got up and sat in the wheelchair.

I'm put into the MRI machine and I hear the machines loud sounds turn on. I'm wondering why all of sudden I need a MRI. I'm almost done with the test and my doctor said he will explain when I get out.

" ok Mr.Knight, I didn't mean to worry you but on your last cat scan I noticed a darker shadow on your frontal lobe. I wasn't worried at the time I saw it because it's normal for the brain to have Edema which is swelling of the brain after a head injury. I saw that the measurements of the edema where bigger then I thought. I'll checked your MRI right now. It was just precautionary test I want to make sure the swelling isn't growing." He explained to me.

I'm wheeled back to my room and see Ellie still knocked out on my bed. My mom took the twins home last night and said to give her a ring when she needs to come pick us up. I sit down in the chair by my bed.

About 30 minutes later Doctor Hunt comes into the room.

"Good news kid. The swelling is still prominent but I'm prescribing you hypertonic saline. This will help with the swelling take it as directed and I'll schedule for a 2 week follow back appointment to see if the swelling is going down. After that we can talk about more options but as of now your set to go home, just take it easy no heavy lifting, bending over, or hot steam showers or baths." Dr. Hunt explains and shakes my hand. I thank him and go walk into the bathroom to change out of this gown and get into my clothes my mom brought me yesterday.

I walk out of the bathroom and wake Ellie up softly.

" it's time to go home love. I called my mom and she will be here in 15 minutes." I tell her.

She yawns and says ok she has to go to the bathroom. When she's done we walk down to the elevator. In the elevator I explained what happened and that i should be fine I just got to take it easy. She insisted that she's not letting me do anything to help her with the twins that I can watch because she doesn't want me to aggravate my brain.

I chuckled and said " Ellie he said not to lift and thing heavy. The twins are 15 pounds I think I'll be fine."

She huffs and agrees but I have to sit down when I'm holding them. I agree with her because I know she won't let me do much more then that. We get into the lobby and my moms already pulled up in the front of the hospital.

We get into the car and I sit in the back because I want to be with my babies. I haven't seen them yet. The giggle and coo at me.

" Hi my loves daddy's back. Did you miss me ?" I say to them not like they know what I'm saying but still. The coo and smile at me. I kiss their foreheads and play with their little feet.

We get home and I'm so happy to be home. I'm not going to leave them for a long time. Ellie places the twins on their play mats and I watch them. She's in kitchen making lunch. I finally feel relaxed knowing I'm home and my family is safe.
