《Whatever》Prologue

Nobody likes birthdays do they? Well of course most people do. I don't. Weird right? Ever since I was small if my birthday would come, I'd tell my mom and dad I don't want to celebrate it. But this year, I have no choice.
Why do you ask? Well it's because, this year is my 16th birthday.
The year I find my mate.
What's the point in having a mate really? I mean my dad rejected my mom when they were younger but now their married! A lot of girls go ga-ga after they meet their mate. Talking about their mates is all they ever jabber about! And when I mean jabber, I mean jabbering about things that they shouldn't talk about.
Yeuchhh.
Right now, I'm outside my house and playing on my skateboard on my ramp. My mom and dad knew I love skateboarding so they gave me this this ramp and skate board on my 11th birthday and I've used it ever since. I was about to do a cabellerial when, "Jesse!"
I was still in the middle of my trick but that didn't catch me off guard because I got use to being disturb when I was busy in mid air or doing an ollie and other tricks. If I was still a newbie at this, I would've fallen down and gotten a nasty bruise for sure but I've gotten plenty of bruises from skateboarding before.
When I landed safely, I stepped on my board from its edge and I caught it with my hand. After that, I walked back to my house through the backyards sliding door. As I closed the door behind me, I heard my mon shout again, "Jesse!"
I sighed and walked to the kitchen where she was. My mom loves the kitchen almost as much as she loves my dad. I walked through the hallway and turned left and walked straight through. There's no door for the kitchen you just walk straight through the doorway. I saw my mom busy chopping up vegetables near the sink and sat on the stool and placed my arms on the kitchen island.

I put my hand under my chin and said, "I'm right here mom." Then she jumped and she pointed the knife at me ready to throw it. "Jesse! Don't do that when I'm cutting up vegetables." I just rolled my eyes and said, "Why did you shout for me?"
She just sighed in annoyance and said, "Until your dad gets here, then we'll both tell you the news." I just rolled my eyes and stood up from my seat and said while walking away, "Then I'll be up in my room."
I walked up the spiral staircase to the second floor and went to the end of the hall where my room was. I bet that you lot think that my room is all bright and happy? Well, it's not. I HATE bright pastel colours (a/n no offense to people who like them). I just can't stand their brightness but thank god my mom had made my room my favourite colour.
My bedroom walls were royal blue and the ceiling had a mural of a jet black wolf curled up like a ball near a lake with a full moon up ahead.
Cool right?
My bed, which was navy blue, was placed on a stage on the right side of my room. On the left side was where my fire-place and L-shaped black couch was.
In the middle of my room, there was a black carpet and of course the best part of my room is... the balcony. My parents have a balcony too of course but mine was staring right above the woods. If there was a sunrise or sunset, the view would be epic.
I place my board near my closet and walked to the balcony. The sun had just started to set as I placed my arms on the railing of the balcony and thought,
"What could mom and dad be planning?"
A/N
WOOHOO!! first chappie has been published! hahaha but I wonder what Jesse's parent are up to don't you? Anyway, leave a comment to tell me what you think they have planned.
Laters!

Aristocratic Avenue
Andrew had a pretty simple life plan: write LitRPG fiction, make a boatload of cash, and... well, he'd figure out what he actually wanted to do with the cash once he'd gotten it. After dozens of failed LitRPG serial attempts and countless thousands of words written, he's found himself pushing forty and broke, living alone in a crappy apartment. But when the platform upon which he publishes his work, Aristocratic Avenue, gains sentience, he and his fellow writers suddenly finds themselves transported to a playground of its own making, a place where there are no rules except the ones the authors have imposed upon themselves through their own writing. Spawned in pods of three, they will need to work together to figure out just what the darned heck they're supposed to be doing and how to get the goodness gracious out of there. In Andrew's pod are the bossy and enigmatic Margeaux Sinclair, crossover erotica/LitRPG author who immediately demands increasingly kinky sex from the hapless Andrew in order to level up. There's also teenager Zachary, who is rather regretting his choice to write about a world populated only by the undead.
