《Magai Story: The First Encounter》Gut Punch

Things were not bad at first. Not bad at all. We went back to school that same Monday and things kind of very much went very poorly.
Before lunch, everyone was showing symptoms of new abilities. Stacey's body temperature had plummeted and she was doing the same to all the air around her.
"If I close my eyes, I think it's not as bad," It was still pretty bad.
Sabine was draining all the energy around herself, too. Being around her was exhausting.
After lunch is when everything changed.
Stacey was trying her best to keep from freezing the entire school's water pipes, Sabine was exhausted from keeping herself from crashing the local electric grid but she couldn't do anything about the fact that she was draining the light in any room she stepped into.
Daniela had her own Oblivion Effect over her, making us all forget that she was there at times. Dania was creating drafts of air in the classroom she was in whenever she got bored.
Jozeey and Grady still had to see any new things happen, and Marco was home with a fever.
We gathered that same day after school at a wooded area next to our neighborhood. The only people that came around the particular spot we would be in were us. We used to meet here when we were younger.
"You haven't explained what we're doing here," Dania whined. A small vortex of air surrounded her now that she didn't have to hide.
"We're going to test the extent of our powers," Daniela guessed. I nodded to confirm.
"How are we gonna do this?" Sabine asked. There was more shade under the trees with her here than there would normally be. At least we had her away from anything electric.

"We'll have a countdown. It'll be like sparring. I'll start by pushing some of you telekinetically, but you have to push back with your abilities,"
Daniela counted down from five and then we started. She had already become invisible, but accidentally probably.
When she was done, I began flinging small blows at Dania and Sabine.
"You should attack each other, too," I shouted.
Dania punched at the invisible forces I sent at her, and I could feel strong bursts of air impacting me. I kept hitting Sabine but all she could to was hold her arms in an x in front of her.
In one fluid motion, Sabine came forward and then I couldn't see anything. I felt a punch to my gut, leaving me on the leafy ground.
"Checkmate!" I heard Daniela say excitedly.
Dania protected herself with a tornado-grade wind, and I knew she got a hold of her powers right away. Daniela couldn't do anything to reach her, but I didn't know about Sabine.
Then the wind stopped and I heard Dania grunt.
"The winners..." I coughed, still on the floor, "Are Sabine and Daniela!"
"Only one winner!" Sabine challenged.
"Come at me, bro!" Daniela laughed.
I heard shuffling of feet and then the light came back. Sabine was on the ground, too.
"Bullshit, how'd that happen!?" Sabine groaned.
"I'm faster," Daniela grinned, still standing, "And I'm the only one trained in martial arts here."
"You guys," Dania moaned, "Grady's been texting me for a while, apparently."
"What?" Sabine hadn't caught that. She was out of breath.
"She's going blndli."
"Huh?" Sabine blurted.
"She typed 'blndli'. What does that mean? A lot of what she's saying doesn't make sense. Like she wasn't looking when she was typing."
"Blind, Dania. Oh my god, get it together," I scolded.
"Okay, but also she's going blind maybe we should go see her?" Stacey raised her voice.
"Let's go!" Daniela started running.
