Daryl was extremely over-protective over me since Merle died on that roof a few years ago. He kept me safe at all costs, he didn't take me on supply runs too often, but when he does, I'm like celebrating my ass off.

"Let's do this!" I say and we climb into our cars. Rick, Carl, Daryl, and I were heading down the road, Daryl was driving the car. Rick sat shotgun and Carl and I sat in the back.

"I don't go on runs very often either." Carl tells me and I nod.

"It just feels like I'm going to be treated like an adult and be able to prove that I can do more than they assume." I say and Carl nods too.

We pull up to a Walmart and split up into groups. I was with Carl. We went for the food. "Canned beans? I mean, Daryl will have his hourly gas, but it's food." I say, laughing and Carl smiles.

I check the expiration date, the beans weren't too old. I stuff it into my bag. I hear groaning and whirl around. I stab the walker in its forehead and I take a bow. "Voila, I kicked your dead ass." I say quirkily.

"Nice one." Carl says and I continue to search for food.

We meet up back at the car. "Hey Daryl, we have beans. But don't eat them , we'll all be dead within a minute." I tease and Daryl playfully punches me.

"I'm eating them and then sleeping in top bunk in your cell." Daryl jokes and I groan.
