《Invincible Ones [A Walking Dead Story]》Chapter 4- Wat❓

I went to my cell, change into a navy blue T-shirt and leggings and fall asleep the way a book falls off a shelve: first slowly, then all at once.
I woke up and Beth said that Glenn and Maggie went on a run to get some things for Judith.
I still stayed in bed, I'm so tired for some reason. "Wakey, Wakey, Ember." Daryl says at the doorway. I moan and bury my face into my pillow.
"I'm tirrrreeeeeeeeeed." I complain.
"Hey, it's not like you need your beauty sleep. That doesn't work." Daryl teases.
"Yeah, shush. I'm getting up." I mumble and Daryl leaves.
I get dressed in my usual wear and realize how unkempt my blond hair is. Meh, whatever.
I ate a granola bar for breakfast and everyone was worried about Maggie and Glenn, they haven't came back yet. I was at the fence, waiting for them to arrive.
"Rick!" I shout and I point to the fence where a woman was. She had a red basket in her hand. The woman collapses and Rick doesn't do anything, she was bleeding. Walkers go for her, but someone was gunning them down-it was Carl. I start gunning 'em down too.
"Carl, Ember!" Rick yells as Carl and I rush to open the gates.
We all brought the woman in and Hershel treats her gunshot wound.
"It's full of baby stuff..." I say as I rummage through the basket. I look up at Carl with wide eyes. "Why would she...?" I ask, my voice trailing off.
~a few hours later~
Rick interrogates her and walks out of the cell. "...Merle took Maggie and Glenn. He was with a man named The Governor..." Rick says and things go blurry. No...no. After five years Merle can't out of-the-blue be alive. That's impossible. I collapse to the ground and everything goes dark.

Ember passes out and Daryl and I rush to her. "I got her." I tell Daryl and he nods. I gather her up in my arms and lay her down on her bed.
"My brother is alive?" Daryl says in disbelief.
"Uh, so alive Ember is in shock." Beth mumbles as she rushes to Ember's side.
"That's what the woman said." My dad says.
"Did you catch her name?" Carol asks my dad (Rick).
"She seemed to know who we are." My dad says vaguely. So I'm guessing she didn't tell him her name.
"We need to go get Maggie and Glenn." Hershel says.
"I need to talk to Merle." Daryl concludes and there was a shifty silence.
"Do you think that's a good idea?" My dad asks him.
Daryl's eyes harden. "He's my brother." He finalizes and walks out of the cell block.
"Umm...what about your unconscious little sister?" Beth yells after him and I try to hold in a smirk.
"Don't worry, he'll come around." I say and I sat down next to Beth. She was seventeen. "So, she just passed out? She'll wake up soon, right?" I ask Beth and she nods.
"Yeah, it was just too hard for her to take in. I've been in shock before, but in her case it's just that she's unconscious." Beth clarifies and I nod.

Blood Quest - A LitRPG
Leon's family has been diagnosed with a new type of incurable blood disease. It's an absolute death sentence and when it turns aggressive, you only have a few more years of painful life left to live. His mother has just begun the last years of the disease when a person supposedly comes back from death with supernatural abilities. He talks about a choice you get after death--get an extra chance to come back to life, or die. Even with Leon's diminishing life span, he won't consider the option of going there, until he meets another survivor who had the same goal as him and succeeded. Leon has a choice to make—die now for a chance to save his mother, or die in a few years, where the disease rapidly melts his muscles from his own body. He enters a game-like world, a sort of limbo, where his ultimate goal is to climb the tower of Katastroph before his mother's time runs out. There are a few problems with this though. The tower is almost impossible to beat, if you die you won't revive, and only three people in over twenty years have actually made it back. Leon has two years to climb the tower, with the help of the few people willing to try, while Ai, the tutorial guide, makes things harder for them. ***** The story starts pretty dark but goes onto a lighter tone. Then (more) dark again. Disclaimer: This story is an experimental project and I hope to get any and all feedback you can give me. Warning: First draft. Chapters tend to be between 3400-4100 words long (about 8-11 A4-pages). Mentioning it since I've seen it in other fictions :P Sometimes they're shorter, sometimes they're longer. ******************************** CHAPTER RELEASES UPDATE: As the first "book" in the series is done, I'm going to release coming chapters somewhat sporadically, and when Writathon ends, I'll probably go back to publishing one chapter per weekend. We'll just have to wait and see! I hope you enjoy the story! I really appreciate all comments and feedback, so if you have anything to say, feel free to voice it :) ************ [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

Tartaros
Depends on what side you are, you have heard two stories what happened 15 years ago. One side says that a rebel trio Gorgos fought against the opressive goverment of Ashphodea, only known as gods, and won. In other side's story, a terrorist organization called the Gorgos started their reign of terror 15 years ago after taking over a correction facility only known as Tartaros. Edan had heard the first story, Andi had known the second. Edan, son of Medusa, the most known of the Gorgos, and Andi, daughter of the assitant to the Ashphodea's golden boy Perseus, are both sick of the secrets their parents keep from them. They want answers, and they are going to get them, with our without their mothers help. ——— This is a re telling of the myth of Medusa in a dystopian setting, where a the Gorgos are the teen rebel archetypes now in their thrities, war isn't as black and white as you think, and the gods are as ruthless as they always were.
