《Wanna Join a Band? (TodoBakuDeku)》Chapter 19

Later that night, Izuku had to head to the bar again. His shift was the same as always, so he was dreading it. He had come to despise the night hours he once adorned. And it all seemed to be the fault of Shoto and Katsuki.
Not that he was complaining.
"I got to go guys, you need to let go of me." Izuku said, trying to wiggle his way out of Katsuki and Shoto's arms. They were still on the couch, but their position had shifted slightly. Basically, Izuku and Katsuki had just switched spots, so now the green haired male was in the middle.
The blond's grip on his waist tightened slightly as he buried his head into Izuku's stomach. "Do we really have to though?" He asked, not seeming fond of the idea of getting up.
Izuku pinched his arm, which resulted in enough wiggle room to get free. Once he was standing, he brushed his clothes off with a huff. "Yes, yes you do." He shot back in a teasing manner.
"You pinched me, you asshole." Katsuki said with a sneer as he rubbed the part of his arm that had been Izuku's victim.
"You wouldn't let me go, I need to go to work because some of us actually have real jobs." Izuku snapped right back, but it was clear that he was still just teasing the blond.
"I knew we should have been offended." Katsuki grumbled to Shoto as Izuku walked out of the living room and into his own to get ready.
Shrugging, Shoto sat up, not seeming bothered by the jab. "If you think about it, the band isn't a real job. Real jobs are boring, ours is anything but." He explained, nudging Katsuki with his shoulder.
The other faintly smiled at the reasoning. "Yeah, that makes sense." He said back. "Are we going to tell him or?..." Katsuki asked, trailing off.
"I say we leave it a surprise." Shoto said back, a small smirk on his face that Katsuki quickly matched.

They fell into a short, short spurt of silence before Katsuki brought up another topic. "I think we should tell people."
Shoto didn't know what he was talking about at first, but quickly caught on. "Oh, so you're finally getting annoyed with Kirishima to?" He asked casually.
He had stopped wanting to hide their relationship a while ago. It was only a few months in when he had brought it up to Katsuki, but the blond didn't want anyone else to know, so he had just dealt with it.
'It' being Kirishima. The poor guy had been in love with Katsuki since he saw him. Shoto felt bad that he was pining after someone who was already in a relationship, and technically it wasn't his fault since he didn't know, but it didn't stop Shoto from hating it.
"Okay, okay, I get it. We should have told them a long time ago. This was just... easier." Katsuki said, trailing off at the end as he tried to find a better way to explain.
"Yeah, I've head that once or twice." Shoto said with a tired sigh.
Katsuki groaned, knowing that Shoto deserved a real explanation. "It's just that... well my first relationship didn't end super well and it hurt like hell. I didn't to go through that again. No offense, but I seriously didn't think we'd last this long and I thought that if no one else knew, then it would be easier when it inevitably crashed and burned." He explained, sounding guilty about his train of thought.
Shoto was stunned into silence by the other's confession. He hadn't thought this relationship would amount to much in the beginning either, but he had thought differently after their first date. He had started falling for the blond and he had fallen hard. But the fact that Katsuki hadn't thought they stood a chance until now... well it stung a bit.
It was like all this time Shoto was just a distraction for Katsuki. Something to hold him over until the real thing came along. It hurt like a bitch.

"Kat, I-" before Shoto could voice his thoughts, Izuku walked out of his room, dressed and ready for work.
"I got to go, but you two are-" He paused as he looked up and saw that the two had clearly been having an intense conversation before. "But you two are in the middle of something, so I'm just gonna leave and you guys are welcome to stay or... whatever." He said awkwardly as he stumbled out the door in his rush, swiftly shutting it behind him and hurrying down the stairs.
Shoto sighed as he stood up. "Come on, we should probably get ready." He said while walking to the door.
Reaching for his hand and stopping him in his tracks, Katsuki spoke up. "Sho, don't run from this, please."
The red and white haired male turned back to him, a look of hurt crossing his face before he schooled his features and was back to his normal monotone. "When did you finally decide you were in it for the long run? How long have we been doing this and you've just been ready to jump ship whenever you felt like it?" He asked, the only emotion he let slip into his voice was anger.
Katsuki shook his head quickly, not letting go of the other's wrist. "It's not like that! I wasn't ready to run at a moments notice. I wasn't worried that I'd be the one running." He explained, desperation slipping into his tone, which was very out of character for him.
Shoto pulled his arm from the blond's grasp, taking a few steps back and away from him. "Good to know you trust me." He said before walking out of Izuku's apartment.
Thankfully the green haired male hadn't stuck around and was already half way to the bar. He didn't know what was going on between the two, but he knew it was something he should stay out of.
He wasn't even... well he wasn't anything special. He was a charity case they had decided to help out.
Izuku rushed into the bar, so out of it he ran right into someone. Again.
"Ah, I'm so sorry! I'm just a little distracted." Izuku instantly apologized, seeing that it was a familiar redhead.
"It's okay dude, no harm no foul." Kirishima said back with a smile, but it dropped when he saw truly out of it Izuku looked. "Are you okay?" He asked.
Not really sure how to respond, Izuku just said a small, "Yeah, just tired." He couldn't exactly tell him that Katsuki and Shoto seemed to be in the middle of a fight in his apartment. There would be too many questions from that.
"Oh okay, well if you want to head out early, I should be able to cover your shift once I'm done playing." Kirishima offered, but it only added to Izuku confusion.
"Playing?" He asked.
"Yeah, the bands playing tonight." The redhead said with a proud smile.
"Oh, Shoto and Kacchan didn't say anything." Izuku said with a small voice as he thought back to earlier that day, trying to remember if they did and he just didn't catch on.
"Whoa, first name basis?" Kirishima asked in slight surprise.
Izuku's eyes widened slightly at the question. "Oh u-um, yeah, we've been hanging out a lot recently and have gotten pretty close." He answered, not necessarily lying.
Because of the nickname for Katsuki that Izuku refused to get rid of, Kirishima didn't know that he meant he was hanging out with both of them. The redhead thought he was just close with Shoto, which was good for him. He had a feeling that Shoto and Katsuki were... well complicated, which is why he hadn't done anything too extreme with the blond. Sure, he flirted here or there, but he didn't make any actual moves.
But now that it seemed that Shoto and Izuku were all buddy-buddy....

The Heroic Tales of Silas Horne
In the year 1858, the system came to the world. It brought with it beings from fantasy and mythology the likes of which the world had never seen before. In the American frontier, a place already known for being a dog eat dog world the system gave bandits the capacity for untold violence, not to mention monsters and system loving fanatics hell-bent on the murder of the innocent. But are they truly so innocent? No one knows what the system is or why it came, they do know one thing though. That the world post system isn't a place for a hero. Luckily for the world, U.S Marshall Silas Horne is no such man. ----- AN: This story is a litRPG inspired by "Randidly Ghosthound" and "The New World" but after reading many such stories and finding them to be a tad samey I decided to write this in a new setting, the Wild West. Also, my release schedule is chaotic, expect at least one 1000 word chapter each day but probably like two more will also be released.
