Gavin and I wake up late the next day. The last few days have been exhausting. We ended up talking more last night and I think he is starting to feel better. Scott and I also talked for a while about this mafia and what he told me was shocking. I am expecting a phone call from the leader, Trey, today, but I am not sure how it will go.

We do our usual routine and get ready for the day. I need to work some and I think Gavin can play in my office while I do that. Before we head to the office I get an incoming call. This must be Trey I think to myself.

Anders: Hello

Unknown: Hello is this Anders?

Anders: This is he, can I ask who is calling. (Puts phone on speaker so Gavin can hear as well)

Unknown: You don't know me, but my name is Trey. I am actually calling to apologize as I think I scared your boy. I want to tell you both that I am truly sorry. Me and my friends were out of line and should have never touched your mate. We were drunk and although that doesn't excuse it, it's the truth. Would it be possible to meet up in person and discuss a few things? I have some news that will be shocking to you both as it was to me.

Anders: I don't know if that is a good idea, but we are willing to hear you out. You can come to our house, but come alone. I will have security high here just to make sure this isn't a set up.

Trey: That is fine. When do you want me to come by?

Anders: Around 4pm today. I will text you the address.

Trey: See you both then!

I hang up the phone and notice that Gavin looks really pale and like he's seen a ghost. I pick him up and rock him.

Anders: It's a okay baby, daddy already knows what he is going to say. You aren't going to like this but he is claiming you are his mate.

Gavin: I don't want to see him and I don't care what he says. He hurt me and let his friends hurt me.

Anders: I know baby and he was punished for that by uncle Scott. Those men were not in their right minds and even though that doesn't excuse it, it does explain why he didn't realize what he was doing.

Gavin: How does he know we are mates?

Anders: Uncle Scott thinks he figured it out after he started feeling really bad about it after he sobered up. That's the only explanation. Sometimes when your senses are impaired it can be hard to pick up the mate bond.

Gavin: That makes sense but I'm still scared of him.

Anders: I know baby, I'm going to have Scott and Carter come over so you don't have to be around Trey. Daddy needs to talk to him first. Does that sound good?

Gavin: Yes, thank you daddy.

I leave Gavin playing while I go call Scott. He agrees to come over with Carter around 3. I let my security know what is happening and they are ready in case we need them. I get more work done and send Carter to stay with Gavin when they arrive. Soon enough it's close to 4pm. I get an incoming text.

Trey: Hey, I'm here alone.

Anders: I will meet you at the door.

I open the door to see a bigger guy. He's around 7' and probably weighs the same as me, but he's not as toned as I am. He's more on the soft side, but I would say he's handsome. He looks intimidating, but I'm not scared. I could see why Gavin was scared though. The guy is huge compared to Gavin's 5'6 and probably 120 pounds. We size each other up before I invite him inside.

Anders: Come in. This is my best friend Scott.

Trey: We met down at the station. I'm sorry again for the trouble I have caused.

Scott just nods at him.

Anders: Let's sit down. You said you needed to tell me something?

Trey: Yea, there is no easy way to say this. I believe that Gavin is also my mate.

I sit there shocked with my mouth open for like five whole minutes. No one says a word. I already knew this, but I had to play it off as news to me.

Anders: Are you serious? How did you come up with that one?

Trey: Well usually I don't feel sorry for my actions, but ever since that night I can't stop feeling bad for hurting him. I don't know for sure but if I had to guess I think him and I could be mates. I don't feel the pull towards you though. I would have to be around him again to know for sure. I know he probably doesn't want to see me, but I have waited for years to find my mate. I have to know for sure.

Anders: Wow, yea I understand. How old are you anyways?

Trey: I'm 27. You?

Anders: I'm 29 now and Gavin is 23.

Trey: Oh nice, he looks younger than that.

Anders: Yea, probably because he is human and small.

We talk for a while longer and agree to try and be allies. I decide to let him meet Gavin so we will know for sure if they are mates or not. I leave Trey with Scott and go talk to Gavin.

Anders: Hey boys, Gavin can I talk to you for a few minutes? Can you be a big boy for me please?

Gavin: Sure Anders, what's up? How did the meeting go?

Anders: It went pretty good. Trey is still here and wants to meet you to find out for sure if you are also his mate. I know you don't want to, but we need to know for sure. Can you be brave for me and do that? I will be right with you and he won't touch you.

Gavin: Okay, I will. As long as you don't leave me.

Anders: Never baby, I would never leave you.

We all head back downstairs and into the dining room where Trey and Scott are still talking. Gavin freezes behind me and I move over some. Trey slowly gets up and walks closer to Gavin. Gavin backs up.

Anders: Don't come any closer Trey, he is scared.

Trey: Hi Gavin, I'm so sorry for what I did to you. It was wrong of me and being drunk isn't a good excuse. I don't expect you to forgive me now, but maybe later on.

Anders: Is he your mate Trey?

Trey: Yea, I could feel the mate bond when I got to the house, but it's much stronger now.

I curse under my breath, but look over at Gavin to see his reaction. He looks shocked.

Gavin: You are my mate too?

Trey: Yea I am buddy. Are you going to be okay? I won't ever hurt you again, I promise.

Gavin just stares in disbelief.

Gavin: I already have a mate, how can you be my mate too?

Anders: It is possible to have more than one mate baby. It looks like you have two. I know this is a shock and sounds crazy, but you will eventually start to feel sick if y'all don't complete the bond now that you know about each other.

Gavin: I understand, but I am still scared.

Gavin sinks to the floor and I move to pick him up. He seems to be slipping into little space. I grab a paci for him and rock him in my arms as he cry's silently in my neck.

Trey: (talking to Scott) He's a little?

Scott; Yes and Anders is his daddy. He wasn't one when they met, but Anders has been a daddy dom for a while. I hope that's not a problem. If you were to join them you would probably need to fill that roll or one similar for him.

Trey: That's no problem, I am actually a Dom myself. I will give them some time. Have Anders call me later so we can meet up again soon. I will need to mate with Gavin as soon as possible.

Scott: I will have Anders call you. Have a good evening.

Trey seems sad when he leaves, but I can't worry about that right now. I need to take care of my little one. Scott and Carter leave soon after Trey does and I cuddle my baby boy. I know this is a lot for him, but it's nothing that can be helped. We will have to deal with this sooner than I would like. He is not going to like it, but I hope it will be okay. My poor baby has been though so much lately. I just hope this doesn't break him. Dr. Brody may be getting another call sooner than I had hoped. Sleep doesn't come easy for either one of us that night.
