《People Meet Percabeth》Sally Jackson Part ll

Sally's POV:
It was around 1:00 a.m. when the doorbell rang. Bleary eyed I grab my bathrobe and slide my feet into my slippers. Paul follows me out of the room as we walk to the door. I suspect Percy is still asleep. Poor boy. Ever since he got back from Tartarus, he hasn't slept soundly. Today he went to bed earlier than normal because he was so tired. The doorbell rang again. I opened it to find Annabeth. She smiled at me wanly.
"Hey Sally," she says, tiredly. I envelop her in a huge hug. When I let her go, Paul comes in.
"Hey, Percy!" I call up the stairs.
"Yeah, Mom?" He says while stumbling down the stairs.
"We have a surprise for you!" Paul smiles mischievously. Percy sniffs the air.
"Hold on!" He says, do you smell that?" I sniff, Paul sniffs.
"No," I say truthfully. "I don't."
"Lemon," Percy sniffs like a dog on a hunt. "There's only one girl that smells like that!" Annabeth steps out from behind me and runs to Percy. He embraces her with the perfect combination of strength and delicacy. They share a long passionate kiss. Percy is running his hands through her tangled hair, while Annabeth has her eyes closed and a smile that I've never seen before on her face. A single tear slips out of the corner of her eye. Paul clears his throat and I give him the look. Percy and Annabeth break apart but keep holding onto each other.
"Paul!" I reprimand him.
"I'm sorry, but it's 1:00 a.m.! ANd I would like to know how Annabeth got here!" I was wondering that too.

"Good point. Let's go to the living room." Annabeth leaves first, as she's closest, limping slightly. I notice Percy has picked that up because he's wearing a little frown on his face.
"Annabeth, what happened to your ankle?" He asks, concerned. She looks down.
"Oh, it's nothing. When-" Percy cuts her off.
"Annabeth don't insult my intelligence," He does a bad imitation of her. "It's not because you're stressed. You injured your other ankle in the caves. What happened?" Annabeth sighed.
"Fine. I twisted my ankle on the way here. It's not that bad!" Annabeth added after seeing the look on my face, Paul's face and especially Percy's face. Now it was Percy's turn to sigh.
"Annabeth! Why don't you tell us these things!" He scooped her up, bridal style, and carried her to the living room, all the while Annabeth was yelling.
"PERCY! PUT ME DOWN!" Paul and I just laughed and followed them into the living room. By the time we got there already had the ambrosia out and was feeding tiny pieces to her. Paul and I sat down on the opposite couch.
"So Annabeth, how did you get here?" Percy asked. Annabeth gave a half smile.
"The Grey Ladies have expanded their services, Percy. They now pick up from San Fransico." She gave a tired laugh and rested her head on Percy's chest. His arm went automatically around her, while his other hand pulled a couch blanket up onto her shoulders. "Anyway, I-" Annabeth took a deep breath. "I ran away again." My heart sinks. I was afraid of this.
"Annabeth-" I start.
"Sally, please don't contact them! I can't stand staying with them! They don't understand! And I need Percy." She finishes quietly. My heart breaks for this girl. She has suffered too much. Percy pulls her tighter.

"On one condition," I say. Annabeth nods her head vigorously, a lone tear slipping out. "Tomorrow morning, you have to send them an Iris Message telling your dad where you are. Is that fair?" I look at Paul. Paul gives his okay.
"Thank you so much, Sally!" Annabeth says gratefully.
"Mom," I say making up my mind. "Call me Mom."
"Okay... Mom." Annabeth makes the move to stand up, but Percy is too quick. He scoops her up and carries her off. Annabeth just sighs and relaxes against him.

Supervillain
The world is broken and rotten. It's supposed defenders are too weak willed to do what is necessary. It's leaders are too corrupt to care for those beneath them If they wont fix this world, then I will! I will make the world a better place ..... by any means necessary! Nice to meet you all. My name is Ginobi47. A lurker of fanfiction.net and now a writer of original fic. This is my first original work and I do hope you enjoy it! Do remember that this is a fiction in the Superhero genre. Please expect the craziness that goes along with it. NOTE: English is not my maiden language. AUTHOR'S NOTE: As I went through the other fictions of Royal Road, I noticed that my style of writing style (slow release, 1 big post) doesnt work well in this site. As such, I'll be experimenting on releasing smaller chapters more often, as this seems to be how the authors of Royal Road does things. Mind you, my release speed will still be very slow compared to others, but I'll churn out chapters more often than what I used to do. DISCORD SERVER: https://discord.gg/M7bmjTH ANOTHER NOTE: Some of my readers convinced me to set up a discord server. While I have absolutely no idea what to do in a discord server, but if you're interested, just join in and go nuts. Suggest some storylines or characters, seek advice in just about anything or tell me your deepest darkest secret (you can PROBABLY trust me ^.^). Feel free to do whatever is fun

Superior Era
How would you react if you found yourself unable to sleep? Not just for one day, or two days, or even three days, but a more permanent time span, like the rest of your life? That’s exactly the predicament Dario finds himself in and he’s thoroughly vexed by it. After all, what sort of sane person would want to miss out on sleep? A madman, that's who. It’s especially worrying considering how he lives in a world filled with fantastical monsters, deadly beasts, and 'Superiors' supposedly protecting the interests of humanity. Sleep is quite the necessity under those circumstances. Life is tough for an ostracized kid, but Dario quickly realizes that his wakeful nights are more blessing than curse, as there seems to be quite a few advantages in not having to sleep... Join Dario as he climbs the ranks of superhumans, uncovers hidden truths, travels the world, and discovers abilities he never before thought possible. This is a tale of superpowered/superhero-like individuals set in a dangerous fantasy world with hints of GameLit elements. Features MC with abilities deemed unique to the world and can disregard the need for sleep at no cost to himself. No Harems. Current Release Schedule: 3-5 chapters per week. (Slower updates for holiday season) First few chapters are fairly short, but the rest will average around 2.5k words.

Battle Royale across the Universe: The Species Tournament
Join the Species Tournament! You might lose your sanity, and quite possibly, your life. But hey, great adventure awaits. Who would accept such a deal and risk it all for glory and the unknown? Well, apparently quite a few. In fact, 1.000.000 life forms will face each other in this century’s tournament. Who will win and who’ll be sent packing? Who will gain strength and who’ll leave with trauma? Find out on this week’s episode of the Species Tournament! ................................................................................................... Additional notes (for those who want more details before giving the novel a try): - It’s a battle royale type of setting between humans, pixies, elves, and dwarves organized by a Television Channel from the Demon World. - The MC foolishly decides to join the competition and will struggle to redeem himself throughout the story. The unfolding events will force him and his friends to mature in different ways. - Each round will be held in a different location/planet. The rounds and the locations will become crazier as the plot progresses. - There will be a mystery aspect to the story, since the demons don’t really like spoon feeding contestants on what is going on. - You can expect some magic elements, though contestants won't have much access to them. - The members of each species will have their own unique worlds, back-stories, motivations, and traits. Some will fight for personal reasons while others for the sake of their people. The needs of many vs. the needs of the individual will clash on several occasions. - Finally, there will be twists and turns at every corner, so one should never get too comfortable. Thanks in advance to all who read my story, and I’d love to hear your thoughts on it!

Stealing Is An Art Form | ✓
Solace Laurent and Sage Reyes never got along. They fought and competed over everything, whether it was grades or afterschool clubs. She hated his arrogant, I-don't-care-about-the-rules behaviour and he loved to annoy her. Not one day went by in high school when an argument didn't break out until he disappeared without a trace. Solace, along with Sage's family and the entire school, thought he was dead. After months of criminal investigations, search parties, and missing persons posters, he was nowhere to be found. But what happens when Sage shows up at her doorsteps in the middle of the night, bruised and bloody?***"Sage?" whispered Solace in utter shock. He smirked at her as he leaned against the doorframe, looking her up and down from her blue penguin pajamas to her oversized t-shirt until he met her eyes. She felt a rush of emotions when she heard his voice after six months. It was the same: deep, unbothered, and familiar. "Solace Laurent, I need your help."
