"W-what are you guys doing here?" I stuttered as my eyes were still puffy.
"Hello to you too." Matt chuckled. Glad to see his humor is still the same.
"Sorry," I shook my head. "Come in." I opened the door wider for them and they took a step in. They kicked off their shoes and looked around the place, they've never seen this house before.
"This place is amazing." Riley said.
"Thank you." I smiled lightly, still trying to collect myself. "Do you mind if I clean myself up a little bit?" I asked while still in my pajamas.
"Not at all." Matt smiled and I quickly made it up the stairs into Ethan and I's closet.
I grabbed some basic black jeans and an oversized pink sweater. I tried the best I could to put my clothes on as quickly as possible. I walked into my bathroom and applied some quick mascara and eyeliner. I didn't want to keep our old friends waiting.
As I walked down the stairs, I put my hair up in a pony tail while letting some baby hairs fall by my face.
"Sorry about that." I chuckled. "It's my day off of work and I was just lounging around."
"No worries, I know it's still early." Riley smiled. She looked over to the table with the pictures on it. She picked up the ultrasound picture and just stared at it.
I looked at the ground, not knowing what she was going to say. She said nothing though, she just put it back on the table and smiled at me.
She was by my side when I was going through the hard time and I've always been super grateful for her-even though we all lost connection a year after Ethan and I's ending.

"I know we haven't seen each other in years, but what are you guys doing here?" I asked politely.
"Oh right!" Matt chuckled. "Mind if we sit to talk?" He asked and I nodded.
I led them into the living room and we sat on the grey couch. They both looked around the room with the high ceilings.
"Do you guys want a tour of place to get our nerves out?" I interjected. They both nodded with smiles on their faces.
I stood up and led them back to the front door.
"Obviously this is the front entrance and this is the hallway that leads to the downstairs bathroom and the laundry room, not too exciting." I chuckled and pointed to the hallway on my right side. "But coming back through here," I walked back to the main entrance and towards the living room. "This is the living room and the kitchen." I walked over to the dining table.
"Wow, you're kitchen is spectacular." Riley ran her hand over the white counter.
"It's honestly a dream." I smiled and walked towards the back patio. "And this is the backyard." I opened the sliding door. There was a grill, a seating area with a cover over it and a pool.
"And then upstairs is Ethan and I's main bedroom as well as two other guest room." I pointed to the stairs.
"Wow, this place is amazing." Riley said as they sat on the grey couch.
"Thank you." I smiled. "Do you guys want a coffee or something to drink?"
"Coffee would be amazing." They both said and I walked over to the kitchen. I began to make them both a cup of coffee.
"It's been so long since I've seen you two." I said.

"I know, we've missed you ever since you guys announced you were moving uptown."
"I wish we all stayed in contact more." Matt said and I agreed. "Speaking of which, how's Ethan doing?"
"Pretty good, a little stressed at work right now, but we're doing good."
"I'm glad you guys are still doing great." Riley smiled as I came over with their drinks. They took a couple of sips. "Sorry that we came in on such short notice and we haven't gotten in touch in years, but we had to find you and Ethan right away." Riley started to say.
"He's at work right now." I interrupted lightly and they both nodded. "But we can meet up with him for lunch if it's important?"
"We asked Lisa for your address because we have something urgent to tell you guys. I don't want to wait to tell you guys at the same time."
"Is everything okay?"
"Um--" Riley looked to Matt. "Not really."
"Is it something with the Ethan's parents or Grayson or even you guys?"
"No, we're all fine--" They kept on taking deep breaths. "It's just--" Riley looked nervous.
"Riley, it's okay. You can tell me." I reassured her by placing my hand on top of hers. She nodded and looked to Matt one more time.
"Jordyn, you need to know that--" Matt started to say.
"C'mon guys, you can say it. I know we havent seen each other in a while, but c'mon." I smiled.
They looked at each other one last time and nodded to each other.
"Josie's out of prison and she's looking for you and Ethan."

Engineer reborn as a dungeon core in a fantasy world. Ike was a hobbyist clockmaker and former aerospace engineer enjoying his retirement on a habitat station orbiting Saturn. Magriculture
When Aurum Industries announced the first Full Immersion Virtual Reality Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (FIVRMMORPG if you're hip) Limitless Online, most people saw it as an opportunity to live out their sword and sorcery fantasies. John, however, saw it as the opening of a new and as of yet uncrowded job market. One he was willing, and eager, to exploit. Determined to make money through virtual hard work and effort, John sets his sights not on the heights of magic or the perfection of the sword, but instead upon the tilling of the soil and the sowing of seeds as he explores the wide and wonderful world of magical agriculture all from the comfort of his own bed. Disclaimer: This is, at best, a very rough draft. I have already had to do one major rewrite and several minor rewrites of entire sections of the story, and it is a virtual certainty I will have to do re-writes again. Such changes may be as small as editing a few numbers (such as going back and changing how much mana an object holds) or it may force me to re-write entire chapters (this has happened once already, and I'm really hoping it doesn't happen again, but... life). Minor re-writes will probably never be posted here. Major rewrites probably will.Anyway, what this boils down to is: If you're looking for a fully cohesive story with few to no errors and publisher level editing, this is not the story for you. If your looking for a cohesive plot that's more than "Man farms, man farms, man farms well, man maybe makes money" you're probably also in the wrong place, but I will attempt to entertain you anyway.

A D&D Gamer in Garweeze Wurld
He doesn't know how he got here, and while the trappings are familiar, he doesn't actually know where he is, either. From the perspective of those around him, Duromar is a half-ogre barbarian, an uncivilized brute by any standard you care to use. But from his perspective, he's a character created in a gaming system. From either one, he must live within the rules of that system. This is the story of a gamer who ends up in a game that's just a bit off from what he knows. ---- I wanted to write something a little bit old-school. Most of the LitRPG I've found seems to be based on computer RPG styled stories. Progression through levels is fast, and depending on the game, skills and even attributes can be trained with or without class levels. This wasn't true with the older pen and paper games, and that's the style of leveling I wanted to write.
