《Naruto's sister Akari Uzumaki》ch 16

I run back to Konoha after the mission ended. My mission was delayed since the Mizukage invaded the location, which I had to spend a day or two locating.
Thankfully he himself wasn't part of the task force, but thanks to the invasion, we had to move locations, after we made sure everyone was dead.
After all Kiri cant find out that Konoha is alleging itself with the revolution.
I was mostly accompanied by the revolution's leader, Mei.
Mei is a tall, slender woman with fair skin. She has green eyes, and ankle-length, auburn hair styled into a herringbone pattern at the back, a top-knot tied with a dark blue band, and with four bangs at the front. Two bangs are short, with one covering her right eye, and two are long, crossing each other on her bust, just below her chin.
I wish I can become that strong in the future. Not only was she was a powerful ninja with 2 Kekkei Genkai, that she can control, but she leads the revolution with the aura of a Kage.
She can use 4 ninjutsu types, while I can only use three. Her taijutsu is great as well, she does not seem fond of kenjutsu though.
" You have to remember that I am more than twice your age" she commented after I voiced my opinion.
I ended up spending two weeks in Kiri. Making sure that the alliance was in place and secure.
Then to top it off, since ninja's from other villages are here, I can't Hiraishin to the office like usual.
So I was stuck, running across the water for a while. I got to the village in 2 days.
I got to the Hokage's office and gave him my written report which I had written thanks to a clone, while I was running, and left to get home.

Only to stop when I saw a familiar white-haired toad corrupting my brother.
In that instant, my eyes blazed red.
They felt my killer intent and turned around slowly. Very slowly. Both paled. And my smile grew.
" Ten seconds" I growled allowing Kurama's voice to mix in with my own.
Jiraiya ran while Naruto stayed absolutely still. Without thinking I punched Jiraiya in the gut and dragged him back to a whimpering Naruto
" I have spent the last 2 weeks, running, dealing with Kiri nin, and barley sleeping" I growled and both shared a look, with Naruto falling to the floor.
" So I am not in the mood if I see you doing this again, trust me when I say, neither of you will be getting that kind of fun in the future," I said and turned to get some sleep.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I looked at the clock next to me in silence. It was 3. I slept less than 6 hours after 2 weeks of not sleeping.

Kurama grumbled and I entered my mindscape.
" The one tails is active," He told me and I jumped out the window and headed towards the village. Once I got there I followed the scent of blood.
What I found made my lips tighten in discomfort. Hayate Gekkō was dead on the floor and a strange genie, from another village, was quivering on the floor. A Suna genin was standing over him.
He has fair skin, green eyes, and short spiky auburn hair. He lacks distinctive pupils or eyebrows. He's had tanuki-like black rings around his eyes his whole life, which attributes to insomnia. The kanji for "love" (愛, ai) is carved on the left side of his forehead, which his hair is parted in order for it to be kept visible.

" Oi, I need you to stop" I called out and He looks at me and sends his sand. My chains come out and wipe away the sand.
" Mother does not want your blood" He states more of a question than a statement.
Kurama roared and I fought back a smile. Thankfully I was still in Anbu ware.
" If you want to continue your time here I suggest you leave now," I say, looking into his eyes.
I nearly flinched at how much they reminded me of Naruto's old ones.
I begin to walk towards him and this sets him off.
" No! Stay away! Stay away!" he screeches and I use my chains to hold him in place. He tried to send sand, but my chains stop all chakra and are made for containing tailed beasts.
" Jinchūriki" I state and he stiffens. His struggling stops and he growls. at me.
" The power of human sacrifice" I continue and let him go. He starts to attack me, but I intercept the hit.
" We are weapons for the safety of our village," I say and he continues to hit me and I continue to dodge.
" But firstly were are people, ninja that need something to lead them, and that is not hatred. Nor is it love. It is hope for the future, and the willingness to get stronger for that hope. " I finish and knock him out.
It's not my job to help the other villages control their Jinchūriki, it's my job to protect my village, and that's what I did.
Is it
Rin asks. I see that the genin has left and entered my mindscape.
" Yes," I answer certainty lacing my voice. Rin does a mix of a smile and a frown.
" Than why did you talk it out with him," Rin asks softly and truth be told I don't know.
I just know what my job is.
Rin sees my hesitation and nods, as if taking an answer and motions for me to get some sleep.
" Turn in your mission report tomorrow," She tells me and I nod heading home.

Trickster's Luck (Fantasy LitRPG)
Not all luck is good luck. Maya found herself at a character creation screen. Who was she before this? Why was she creating a character? What was the game? No idea. But she had nothing better to do and no reason not to play along. And when given the option for a rare luck-based starting class, how could she turn it down? It was rare and special! That must make it good. Right? Character-focused, low-stakes, post-death upload. Hard system: if the stats say she loses a fight, she'll lose the fight. Randomized outcomes: I roll dice behind the scenes regularly, so events flow according to the whims of chance. Nothing is set in stone. There is an overarching plot, but how the details play out and what path we take to get there is up to fate.

This is my first story to ever be posted. As I am an amateur writer, there shall be mistakes. More so with the fact that English is not my first language. This story is a re-write, and its original version was a request by a dear friend of mine. Though hopefully this version would be far better.. As the original version was a very cringe worthy thing. Many thanks to certain friends that have convinced me to post this. I shall do my best to at least update frequently, without sacrificing the.. quality of chapters. Tags will be added as the story goes on. || Disclaimer: Much of the chapters before Chapter Twelve are of poorer quality in terms of Grammar. So do forgive me for them, by Chapter Twelve and beyond however, the quality of the chapters should have had improved. I'm hopefully gonna fix most of the earlier chapters when I hit Chapter Twenty or Thirty.

Keepers of the Neeft
The Indigo Empire has conquered half the world’s nations, their people, and their gods. According to its citizens, old and new, the rest of the world will follow. In the capital of the Throne-home, the Imperial Academy produces the next generation of great leaders to drive that expansion. Cadryn Bence knows he will be one such leader, he’s overcome his common birth, mixed heritage, and every other obstacle to be the top of his class. He dreams of glory on the southern front against the Gravanik States. He will not be finding it. Instead, if the glory he expects. Far to the north, lies the unassumingly named North-Eastern Extreme Frontier Tower, a backwater post if ever there were one. Through the machinations of the Emperor’s state religion, and a cult within it, Cadryn will find himself on his way to this first assignment. On the frontier, Cadryn will discover that neither his campions, nor the Neeft itself, are what he expects. Follow Cadryn on his journey to discover many truths: about himself, about the Empire, and about the very world he call home. ****** Keepers of the Neeft is a (bit dark) fantasy story revolving around Cadryn and his journey of discovery. There’s a fairly wide cast of supporting characters (his fellow Keepers) all with their own reasons and motivations behind how they came to be at the Neeft. Current release plan is to have part 2 completed, then fully edit up till the end of part 2. I am in the process of editing the earlier content as I complete the updates/re-writes. Apologies for any rough content in the meantime. My primary objective with Keepers of the Neeft is to work on developing content flow and establishing a community of people who enjoy my writing style. I write SF/F and horror as my primary genres, Keepers is actually my 3rd novel length work, but my current project. Updates of new Content will currently be in the form of one larger post on Tuesdays.
