SilverWing POV
Dear Diary
I don’t know for how long we've been staying out here, but I think I agreed with Starscream now. It was getting colder and colder. I still hate the fact that I had to come to the coldest place on Earth and with Optimus.
***
“Are we really going to waitlist here in the freezing cold, completely at the mercy of human bureaucracy?!” Starscream asked. Just then, sudden sounds of helicopters prevented him from saying anything else as they flew away from the facility.
“C’mon, let’s go” I told Starscream, getting to move forward again. Once we made it to the facility, I watched Optimus shove open the two doors to a storage unit. I stood behind him with my blaster pointing at Starscream, who was standing beside me. The relic was at the center of the room in the shadows. The three of us walked towards it.
“The relic remains sealed in the ice” Optimus said, noticing the object that was stuck in a frozen casing.
“I knew you were of questionable honor, Starscream'' Dreadwing's voice announced, making his way inside the storage unit.
“But aiding the Autobots, that is a capital offense” Dreadwing said.
“What?! But-But I-I left tracks for you on purpose! So you could rescue me from my captor!” Starscream yelled, walking forward. I rolled my optics. I could tell that he was lying.
“Dreadwing” Optimus called.
“I cannot allow you to leave here with this relic” He said.
“I know that Prime, but I do not intend to give you much of a choice” Dreadwing replied, pointing his gun at us. Just then, Optimus charged forward, slamming against Dreadwing and knocking the two of them out into the snow. I then glanced back at Starscream, who had the look of someone who’d just gotten an idea as he stared at the relic.
“Oh, hell no!” I yelled, rushing over to him. I immediately charged at him. He quickly dodged then rammed himself into my side. I hissed in pain. He had hit me on my bad side. He then came up behind me and held out his arms before pulling back, choking, and blocking my Energon flow with his cuffs. He released me after a few minutes, and I dropped down, feeling incredibly lightheaded.
“Urg… What’s going on?” I asked.
I didn’t know what was going on around me for a couple of minutes because my helm was going crazy, but once I was able to get my helm out of the clouds, it was too late because Starscream had already the relic in his servos. He picked it up carefully with both servos and held it up to examine, before placing it on his chassis. I watched the relic surrounded and covered the slender seeker with layers of armor, snapping the bonds right off his wrists.
I then felt my optics wide when he grinned evilly at me. I tried to back up and escape, but it was too late because he immediately grabbed me. He then kept upwards with me on his grp and broke through the building’s roof. The jump propelled him forward, landing in front of the two Mech’s fighting outside.

“Grr… Let go of me!” I yelled. I then saw Optimus’s optics widened, and his face paled at the sight of me struggling in the seeker’s servo.
“The Apex Armor” Optimus said. He was laying down on the ground for some reason, but I really didn’t care right now.
“I don’t care what’s the name of this stupid relic is! Get me out of here!” I yelled. I growled, trying to free myself, but failed. I couldn’t believe how strong Starscream with this stupid armor. I couldn’t free myself from the tight grip that he had on my small body.
“A perfect fit” Starscream said, laughing.
His grin then got wider when he saw both of his opponents get into battle positions ready to attack.
“You dare claim that which rightfully belongs to Lord Megatron?!” Dreadwing asked. I look at him with a ‘wtf’ face.
“And what do you intend to do about it, Commander?” Starscream asked. That made Dreadwing mad. He immediately charged at him. He hit the armored chassis but didn’t affect him at all. I heard Starscream laugh before punching Dreadwing, sending him flying backward with a single servo.
“Not so big and strong now, are you?” Starscream asked. I tried to move but was not able to because I felt his grip on me tightened.
“I haven’t had this much fun since I punched that hole in Cliffjumper!” Starscream yelled. I hissed in pain when I felt this grip even tighter than before. It felt like he was squeezing the life out of me. He then picked up a truck with minimal effort as well as losing up his grip on my body, which I was thankful for because I didn’t know how much my body was going to be able to take any longer.
“Allow me to reunite you with your beloved twin” Starscream said. Just then, I saw Optimus rammed into his back, causing the truck to be sent flying towards Dreadwing and would have crushed him if he hadn’t rolled, but it also made him drop me. I was sent flying as well, but instead of landing on the snow, I fell in a pair of strong arms. I opened my optics only to see Optimus face.
“Are you okay?” He asked. I nodded. He then put me down. Just then, Dreadwing tried to attack Starscream again but sent flying towards us.
“Dreadwing, our battles remain unfinished, but if we do not unite against our common foe…” Optimus began.
“Starscream will destroy us all” Dreadwing finished. I growled but nodded.
“I wish it didn’t have to come to this, but it looks like we don’t have any other choice” I said.
“I’ll draw his attention” Dreadwing said, handing Optimus one of his specialized bombs.
“I will go with you” I said. He nodded. He then transforms into his alt-mode and I immediately jump on his back immediately flying above the seekers’ helm. We then shot at him while flying back over his helm, but he then managed to hit us. I was lucky that I jumped off Dreadwing’s alt-mode in time, or I would have ended as bad as Dreadwing did.

“Might beats flight” Starscream said.
Just then, Optimus jumped onto his back. After a few seconds, Starscream was finally able to shove him off but was clueless to the real damage.
“You’re gonna be the one to join the All-Spark, not us!” Dreadwing yelled. He then smirked, taking out a control that activated the bomb that Optimus had planted on Starscream’s back. I saw the rapid beeping reach Starscream’s audios before realization came across his face, but it was too late before the explosion happened.
“What?!” I asked. Just then, the smoke cleared up, and we saw the bomb had done no harm at all. I watched him laugh sinisterly.
“That tickled” He mocked.
“Fools! Not only am I intelligent, I am invincible!” Starscream yelled.
“I feel strongly that you should rethink the first one” I said, making him growl.
“You also cannot fly” Optimus said.
“Nobody’s perfect” Starscream said, turning around to face him. He walked closer to him until he was looming over him.
“Now, tell me of the other three relics? Are they as powerful as my shiny new armor?” Starscream asked.
Just then, I saw Dreadwing lower down to the ground. I looked at him in a funny way until I finally noticed what he was doing, causing me to nod at the choice of plan that he had just come up with. I then saw Starscream punched Optimus in the face, sending him stumbling backward.
“They were hidden away precisely to keep them from the hands of those like you” Optimus replied. He then threw punches that were quickly blocked.
“He is far too powerful, Prime! Fall back!” Dreadwing yelled. I saw Optimus look at us. I only pointed at the ground. He got the message before transforming and quickly driving over to our position.
“Cowards! You will not escape my might!” Starscream yelled but stopped when the realization came across his face.
“Wait!” He yelled. He looked around before looking at us again.
“You three are up to something” Starscream said.
“Damn right we are!” I yelled. Dreadwing took out his control again, activating the bombs that were formed like a ring around him and exploded loudly, The three of us ran away from the explosion, but still ended up being knocked away from how much force it had. I heard Starscream yell out as he got caught in the flames before falling down through the hole that was made in the ice below him. I walked over and peeked into the depths with Optimus next to me.
“Is it over?” I asked.
“Yes” Optimus replied.
Just then, we suddenly heard Dreadwing, taking out his sword. I sighed, turning around to face him.
“Now that our alliance has served its purpose…” He began, but Optimus cut him off short.
“Starscream is gone, and the Apex Armor with him” Optimus said, taking his blade out. I did the same.
“Is there really a need to renew battle when the goal has been lost?” Optimus asked.
“We have other unfinished matters” Dreadwing said, growling.
“I bore Skyquake no malice, and I regret the role I played in his demise…” Optimus began, putting his blade away. I soon follow right after him.
“So… I will appeal to you as I once did your twin, turn your back on the Decepticons cause and help me end this war, for his sake and for all who have fallen” Optimus said.
I watched Dreadwing scowl at Optimus’ words but then put his sword away.
“You saved my life today. I will terminate you the next time we meet” Dreadwing said before taking flight and leaving. I sighed before relaxing.
“So, it’s really over?” I asked. Optimus nodded. I was about to start walking away but freeze when I felt a sharp pain invade my whole side. I cried out in pain, falling down to the ground.
“SilverWing!” I heard Optimus yell my name. He was immediately by my side. I felt his servo touch my hip, making me hiss in pain even more.
“What happened? Did Starscream do this?” He asked. I opened my optics and looked at my hip, seeing Energon almost covering it all. I shook my helm.
“No” I said.
“I got this injury a long time ago. I just happened to hurt it again after a long time today in battle. It only got worse thanks to Starscream’s grip” I explained.
“What happened?” He asked. I sighed.
“Megatron. That’s what happened” I replied. He nodded. He then sighed.
“This is why I didn’t want you going out to battle. I fear that you might get hurt like this. I don’t want to lose you like I did with your…” He began, but I stopped him.
“Don’t!” I yelled.
“Please, don’t finish that sentence” I said. I heard him sighed.
“I’m sorry” He said. I shook my helm.
“It doesn’t matter. I choose this life. I’m okay. It only hurts, but it will get better after I patch it up” I said.
“Allow Ratchet to check it?” He asked. I shook my helm.
“I’m fine. I could fix it myself” I said.
“SilverWing. Please?” He asked. I sighed, looking at him, who was looking at me with hopeful optics.
“If I say yes will you stop bothering me?” I asked. He nodded.
“Fine” I said. I then tried to stand up, but he immediately picked up my bridal style. I looked at him with a ‘really’ look on my face.
“I don’t need help, you know?” I said.
“Yes, you do” He said. I rolled my optics but didn’t complain anymore because I knew I was not going to get to him any time soon.
