Harry's POV
Ever since you left me Zayn, I've been far from okay. It's like you tipped my axis way more than it should be, and now, I'm at the edge of falling. It's a horrible feeling.
I'm dying everyday a hundred times while I reminisce what's haunting me the most, us, our memories.
It's been six month since you left me and I don't remember a day where I've become slightly better, in fact, I'm getting worse.
Everyday I spend every minute of my waking hours staring at the door waiting for you to come right in, so why won't you?
Hasn't anyone told you about how I've become, just let me see you for at least one last time, I didn't get to give you a proper goodbye.
I haven't been eating, I'm suffering from insomnia now and you know how much I used to sleep, I barely shower, my hair is now grown out that I can tie it in a tiny bun, but I couldn't care less. You aren't here for me to make an effort anymore. I used to try and be the closest thing to perfection as I can get only so I'd look half as good as you, but you're gone now, so why would I even try?
I don't remember the last time I went out grocery shopping, but again, I don't really care anymore.
Don't you miss me, Zayn? Me, your Haz like you used to call me. I'd kill to hear that word out of your mouth again.
Today isn't any different from my usual routine. I am sitting on the couch, wearing one of your over sized hoodies and sweat pants as I watch the door intently, waiting for you to come home.
Am I being too desperate? You're probably not even thinking about me and you probably even moved on and you're now dating some pretty girl with long legs and nice eyes, just like you deserve, someone nice and pretty, unlike me.

I just wish we'd come back together again, but this time, you wouldn't leave me. I miss everything about you, Zayn, I'm not properly functioning without you.
Your eyes shine whenever you draw, when you're happy, when... when you were with me. I used to think that I was the luckiest boy alive to have you looking at me like that, I still do, but the second part of a soon-to-be-stored memory wasn't there anymore.
I... I love you Zayn. Please come back to me again and I'll be good, I promise. but please, just come back to me, or at least let me see you even if it were for a second.
I closed my eyes as I took a deep breath. This was the last thing I sent to Zayn through his voicemail- one week ago- in hope of a certain response, but then unsurprisingly, I got nothing.
Days blended into one and time passed erratically, and yet, no sign of Zayn making a much needed appearance in my life.
Can't I just close my eyes and open them to find Zayn by my side and he would never leave me again after that? Guess not.
I called Zayn again, waited to reach his voicemail and left another plead in hope of a miracle.
Please, Zayn. Please. Come back to me. I... I need you s-so much right now, and I just can't... I can't take it anymore without you. Please.
I hated the fact that my voice cracked every other second showing my hidden emotions, I guess they weren't so hidden anymore. I didn't want him to know how much I was suffering without him, but I guess that much was obvious in my desperate attempts of getting him back.
I closed my eyes and nestled into my pillow. I longed to sniff Zayn's long lost scent that used to smother my bed. A tear trailed down my flushed cheeks as I let my melancholy feelings lull me to sleep.

I awoke to a hand gently smoothing my curls as it ran over my hair. I immediately sat up in alarm only to come face to face with Zayn. Wait, what?
"Z-Zayn?" I questioned incredulously.
"Hi baby." Oh my god that voice, that lovely voice. Oh how I missed his voice.
"I... you left... you left me... I... you... what?" I asked confused.
"I know baby, I know I'm here now, I'm not leaving. Not now, not ever."
"You left me." I whispered brokenly as my bottom lip trembled.
"I'm sorry."
"You... You left me all alone." I whimpered pathetically.
"I know, Harry. I love you, baby."
Then the tears were unstoppable because god I haven't heard that word since forever from him.
Zayn quickly pulled me into his embrace as he placed kiss after kiss on my forehead in attempt to calm me down. It was working. That, and the fact that I was finally in Zayn's arms helped pacify my aching heart.
"You're not leaving?"
"I'm not Haz, I promise."
"Okay."
"I love you."
"I love you too. "
Sometimes reality is a figment of our wistful imagination.

Many Minded
Synopsis: Issa Pyxis, Spacer orphan and illegal heretic, graduated from living on the streets to running with a gang years ago, but now it looks like that’s all going to change. Her inheritance, more specifically who—or what—she is, is catching up with her, and on a planet with the Emperor’s inquisitors slinking around in every shadow, nowhere is safe and no one can be trusted. What will she do? A cyberpunk story about identity, loneliness, covert infiltration, evil dystopias, and much more! Features: - Cyborgs and cyberpunk galore - This is indented to be somewhat “rational” and “hard” Sci-Fi story - Original Fiction however parts of my worldbuilding are inspired by other Sci-Fi stories (duh) Rationale: The future is cool, AIs are kickass, and questions about consciousness are simultaneously existential and yet unanswered. To me, this story is a vehicle for exploring these topics, and also, I wanted to write a story where the protagonist was unafraid of themselves and where their self is more like a git-repo than a meat computer. Disclaimer: This story primarily takes place in what we’d describe as a “cyberpunk dystopia” with some extra technocracy, autocracy, and religious fervor thrown into the mix, so there will be some “grittiness” in this story. Caveat emptor. Also, [insert your favorite boilerplate “views expressed” disclaimer here]. I shouldn’t need to say this, but the main character and other characters in my story can be wrong on occasion (gasp!) and the way they view the world isn’t always objective truth (if such a thing even exists) nor do their views and opinions necessarily reflect the views of me, the author. Rage: Crisis / Consequence / ???
Its been ten years since Seth was given his powers, ten years since his town was driven mad by that very same power, and ten years since its source was shunted into his head. A species of energy beings, a people filled with regret for what their entrance onto this world caused. Regret for the deaths that town perpetuated, the devastation they brought, the blow they served to the once proud heroes of this world. Heroes Seth now hopes to join, hopes to heal and atone to for what transpired. But their wounds run deep, their ire sharp, and their acceptance thin. And to top it all off... Seth's power is run far deeper than he knows, and sees his world in a light all its own. This series is my first foray into authoring, with two parts out of at best four if the readership stands. But part three will still book end nicely otherwise. And I'm not stopping till then. It is action heavy with varied and ramping up fight scenes through out. (Book 1 is heavy / Book 2 a little lighter) It is bloody in places, mildly gory in others, and heavily gory in simulated places. Nothing truly horrifying, I think, but be warned. It has trauma. PTSD is a major part of the story, but I will never trust that I got it completely right, so your mileage may vary on how believable or impactful it is. Lastly it has language. Swearing ebbs and flows as the story progresses and attitudes harden or soften. Sometimes bleeding through into the narration... somehow.
