Third Person's POV

"Do you think that in ten years, we'd still be together and as in love as we are now?"

"Yeah I do."

"Why?"

"I just do, it's like a feeling."

"I think so too, Liam."

"Yeah?"

"Yeah."

*Two years later*

"Do you still love me as much as you did two years ago Liam?"

"Yes. I think I love you even more now."

"Yeah?"

"Yeah"

*Four years later*

"Do you still love me as much as you did six years ago Liam?"

"I'm falling harder for you everyday."

"Yeah?"

"Yeah."

*Three years later*

Liam has been acting idiosyncratically lately. He's been more distant, and the frown lines that appear on his forehead whenever he's thinking hard about something seemed to be adhered there.

Niall's heart pounded hard against his chest; he had an idea of what might be bothering Liam so much, but he didn't want to acknowledge it just yet.

Days passed and the distance between Niall and Liam seemed to elongate past elasticity, only then did Niall decide to face Liam with a questionnaire.

"Liam?"

"Mhmm?"

"Are you okay?

"Yeah Niall I'm fine." The first wound in Niall's heart was inflicted. Liam just called him Niall, he never did that.

"Are you sure?"

"I said I'm fine." The second wound settled beside the bleeding gash, oozing red itself. Liam never used a harsh tone with him.

"D-do you still love me like you did nine years ago?"

Silence. Then.

"No."

"More?"

"Less." Then Niall's heart was a bleeding mess, wounds and gashes vehemently tearing it apart.

"You said you'd still love me the same."

"I'm sorry."
