Doorbell ringing echoed the whole dorm early in the morning. 2 girls groan as they not expect a guest to come on weekend

"Unnie, open the door" Seulgi said to Irene

"Yah Kang Seulgi, you bossing around now?" Irene glare at Seulgi

"Come on unnie, you bossing me more than I do to you. Please baby, go open the door" Seulgi smile seductively

"Now you're seduce me to open the door"

"Please" Seulgi run her finger on Irene arm

The leader rolled her eyes annoyingly "You're lucky that I love you"

"I'm the luckiest human alive because goddess Bae Juhyun loving me" Seulgi laughing

"You must pay me later" Irene grope Seulgi butt before she stand up

"Do your job first then I will pay you" the bear laughing again

Irene greet the uninvited guest with sincere smile she have

"Good morning Ms. Im" Irene say to Ayden's secretary. She looking at the older girl who holding a box of cake and a bag fill with something

"Good morning Irene. Sorry for disturbing you early in the morning, can I see Wendy?"

"Sure, come in" Irene opens the door wider for the guest and led her to living room

"Seulgi, sit properly. We have guest" Irene hit Seulgi leg and the bear immediately sit properly on the couch

"Oh hi Ms. Im, good day" Seulgi bow politely to the secretary

"Good day too Seulgi"

"Ms. Im, have a sit first. I will call Wendy" said Irene

"Okay"

Few second later, Irene come with Wendy and the two maknae

"Ms. Im, Wendy is here"

The secretary stands up and showing alligator smile to Wendy "Hey Wendy, happy birthday"

"Oh, thank you Ms. Im" Wendy bow her head

"Just call me Yoona, we don't have to be formal since we're not at office"

"Okay" the girls said

"I come to deliver something from our boss" Yoona pick up a cake box and give to Wendy

"Birthday cake?"

"Yes, open it"

Wendy unboxed the cake "Wow, really beautiful"

"Oppa is sweet" Joy said

"And romantic" Yeri added. They praising Ayden and forget about Yoona presence

"Yah" Joy realized that she and Yeri say something that stranger not suppose to hear

Yoona smile "Don't worry girls, I know that he is close to you all"

"He told you?"

"Yes, I am his secretary after all so I know everything about him include some of his secret"

"You're lucky" Seulgi mutter

"Not really, it kind of I involve too much in his life but that's my job so I can't help it"

"You're right"

"Why he not come personally?" Wendy ask

"He has something to do with Eric but he left a message on the card inside the bag. He wants you to read it before night come"

"Oh, really?" Wendy rummaging through the bag and take out a box of dark chocolate

"Wow, my favorite!" Wendy squeal seeing her favorite chocolate

"Glad that we're chose the right flavor. He worried so much that you don't like it"

"You go with him to shop for this?"

"Yes, not just both of us but Jessica unnie also join us. After few series of bickering then we end up choosing this"

"Aigooo" Wendy laughed "By the way, thanks for this"

"No problem"

"Unnie, we should sing for you first before you cut the cake" said Yeri

"Okay then"

Yoona and the girls sing birthday song for Wendy. After that she make a wish then cut the cake

"Let take picture first. He keep remind me to take picture just to make sure you love the cake"

"What? He didn't trust me that I will like it?" Wendy chuckle in disbelief

"Sometimes he has trust issue when it comes to something that he not sure. He feels insecure easily"

"Aigooo that man"

After eating the cake, Yoona excuse herself to leave the dorm

"Girls, I have to go now"

"Okay, thanks for delivering this. We trouble you a lot" said Wendy

"No problem, it is part of my job. Happy birthday again"

"Okay unnie"

"Don't forget to read the card before night"

"Sure, I will read after this"

"Okay, I take my leave now"

"Bye unnie, take care" they said

"Alright" Joy walked Yoona to the front door and bid goodbye again

Inside her room, Wendy excitedly opens the blue envelope and takes out the birthday card

Wendy is smiling after reading the card. Somehow she feel very nervous about what will happen tonight. It feel like she have instinct about what will happen but she can't figure out it yet. The nervousness keep build inside her. She don't understand that feeling

Wendy gets out of her room after dress up for meeting with Ayden. She wears her favorite blue dress that she just bought and haven't wear it yet

"Unnie, are you going for date?" Yeri smirk

"I guess so. He don't tell me either it date or not"

"Oh, have fun unnie"

"Okay"

Few minutes later, doorbell ringing and Wendy open the door. Yoona standing outside smiling wide

"Hello Wendy, are you ready for tonight?"

"Yes" Wendy answer awkwardly

"Alright, let's go"

"Okay"

Yoona drive them to a familiar place that Wendy recognize as the art gallery where she first meet with Ayden

"We arrive"

"Is it here?"

"Yup, Ayden will meet you at the rooftop. I will walk you to the stair. Let's go"

"Okay"

The secretary led her to the right side of the building where the stairway to the rooftop located. They arrived upstairs but no one around

"Where is him?" Wendy ask

"He will come in few minutes so you wait for a while. I will leave you here"

"Okay then"

Wendy lean her arms on the rail while watching people walking at the sidewalk and vehicles moving at the road. The view is very beautiful from the rooftop. Few minutes of waiting, she heard footsteps come from behind and stop few feet from her. She turns around and greeted by a handsome guy holding a bouquet of blue roses

"Happy birthday babe" Ayden said lovingly "Here for you" he give the bouquet to Wendy

"Thanks babe"

Ayden move forward and wrapped his arms around Wendy waist to bring her closer. He kissed her on forehead and cheeks

"I miss you" he said

"I miss you too" both of them stare at each other "Thanks for the cake, chocolates, your romantic wishes and these roses"

Ayden smile "You like it?"

"I love it"

"Anything for you"

"Why you not give the cake personally?"

"I go somewhere with Eric earlier"

"Where are you going?"

"I go to pick up this rose. I found a florist that sell roses online so I buy for you. It's quite far from here that's why I can't come this morning. Luckily Yoona is available so I ask her to help me"

"Babe, you don't have to do so much. Cake and chocolate is good enough. I appreciated it"

"It fine babe, I just want you to be happy on your day"

"Thanks again"

"No problem" Ayden caressed Wendy cheek softly "Babe, I have one more thing to say"

"What is it?" the nervous feel come back again

Ayden take a deep breath and relaxing himself before he speaks again. He hold both Wendy's hands and squeeze it softly "Since the first day I meet you, my heart keep wanting you and my mind keep thinking of you. For the first time in my life, I don't have words to describe how I am feeling. Now I know what it means to have a crush on a girl who is really dazzling. I love you so much. Would you like to be my girlfriend?"

Wendy froze after she hears the confession. She knows this day will happen. She know Ayden have feeling on her from the way he stare at her, he spoil her with any chance he have and treating her like she is someone precious for him. She can see everything even all this while Ayden never say anything to her. Meanwhile, she still has hesitation on herself. She admit that she love Ayden but it just love for special friend. She not develops special feeling towards that guy. She comfortable with their special relationship even they are more like couple than just friend. When they are together, she is in her happiest. Ayden make her feel loved and appreciated. She very comfortable with him even she never closes to any guy before.

"Wen?" Ayden tapped Wendy's cheek softly

"Ughh...yes" Wendy stutter

"I'm waiting for your answer"

Wendy stare at Ayden "Ayden, I'm sorry"

"Sorry?" Ayden frown

"I'm sorry because I...I think we better remain as friend. I'm very sorry" Wendy doesn't have strength to face the guys. She can hear loud sigh from him and he release her hand quickly

Ayden balled his fist in frustration but he makes himself strong. He feels dejected for a first time in a while. His eyes watery and luckily the place are not bright enough so Wendy doesn't notice tears in his eyes. He prepared himself for rejection but still it hard for him to accept the fact that Wendy doesn't love him as he expected

"Okay" Ayden answer weakly

"Sorry because I disappoint you. I don't mean it but as I said before, I don't want to regret the relationship"

"It's okay, I'm fine. Now that you know that I love you, I will never stop that feeling from growing up. I not give up on you"

"Don't hurt yourself" Wendy looking at Ayden softly

"Don't worry, I'll be okay" Ayden rubbed his face "I will drive you home. It's late already"

"Okay"
