《Im Not Wendy (Peter Pan Fanfiction)》Im Not Wendy- Chapter 13

I woke up the next morning, and it took me a while to remember where I was. Then I remembered. I was at the fairies' healing place.
I looked over my shoulder and shifted around, just to see Peter, sleeping soundly next to me. Well, not so soundly, as he was having some breathing issues due to all the healing that he had done, and that the bandage draped over his stomach was probably not letting him breath.
His breathing became even more desperate. I shook him awake, and he looked at me before smiling.
'Let me remove your bandage so you can breath, Peter'- I said, and kneeled down next to him. I began unwrapping all of the bandage from him as he winced in pain. As I unwrapped, the bandages were more and more red, and I became aware of the damage that Hook had caused to my Peter Pan.
'Oh, gosh'- I gasped silently when I got to the last layer of bandage, and saw the big scar that was across Peter's stomach. A tear rolled down my cheek when I saw how much pain he was in.
Peter reached out and wiped my tears off my cheeks.
'Im sorry.'- I sobbed. Peter looked at me with a confused face.-' For not being there before to save you. I should've been here instead of you. I feel like it's all my fault'- I explained. Peter reached out for my hand now. He just stared at me while I cried softly.
I layed again next to him. He wrapped an arm around me and pulled me closer to his body. I rested my hands on his stomach and accidently touched his scar. His face turned to a pained one and his eyes became watery.
'Oh, sorry, sorry, sorry!'- I apologized. He smiled at me. He leant in and just as he was about to kiss me, a group of fairies barged into the room. Peter and I pulled apart and Peter sighed in defeat as he plopped his head back into the pillow. We both glared at Tinkerbell, who turned a deep shade of red. She muttered a 'Sorry' , which only Peter understood, as he muttered something back I couldn't understand.

'Okay, I see someone removed Peter's bandage off him'- One of the fairies said, smirking. I turned a shade of pink.
'I did, he was having some problems breathing, and I didn't want him to die in his sleep'- I explained. The fairies made me move and removed all of his bandages. When they were applying some medicine to his scars, Peter winced in pain again and again.
Suddenly, a scream. I shot up from the place where I was sitting, and ran inside the room.
Peter was trying to break free from the bed, and a fairy was trying to inyect him.
'Peter! Stop! Stop, please!'- I screamed, and grabbed his wrist. His hand flung in the air in complete desperation, and across my face.
I gasped, as well as the fairies. But I wasn't surprised. Tink had warned me about this. She had warned me about his sudden agression.
However, tears rolled down my cheeks.
Peter's face transfigured as he saw me crying. His eyes widened, and he looked as sorry as ever.
'I.i'- He tried to say something.
'I know, you're sorry. It's okay, I already knew about this'- I smiled between tears.
'Peter, we have to inject you.'- A fairy said, and his eyes welled up in tears. I held his hand tightly. The fairy applied the injection as Peter almost cut the circulation off my hand. He let out a deep breath when it was over. The fairies did some more things on him and then left, leaving Peter and I alone in the room again.
'Now, where were we...'- I asked, and Peter grinned widely. He pulled me close to him and pressed his lips to mine. I giggled and kissed him back. Peter was transforming. He was more mature, and more protective of the people he loved. Now that explained a lot of things.
He deepened the kiss, and pulled me closer each time. I wrapped my arms around his neck and played with his hair with my fingers, earning a soft groan from Peter as I was tugging on his hair.
We pulled apart, and we both smiled.

Ruins of Dalághast
I've been writing for as long as I can remember, but I'd always been torn between different projects. That's why I decided to dedicate myself to a pretty strict schedule of writing and editing a single chapter every month since the start of 2019. This is an ongoing, work in progress novel that follows a ragtag group of sellswords as they delve into a lost city on the edge of the known world in search of their fortunes. Within, though, they find much more than they ever expected and find themselves in a race against time to unravel a mystery centuries old.
