《Im Not Wendy (Peter Pan Fanfiction)》Im Not Wendy- Chapter 17

*Julie's POV*
With Peter, fully recovered from his early wounds due to my kissing magic, which only happened to work once, it was easy for us to go back to Neverland and for everything to go back to normal.
Peter and I visited the city once. From above. My family seemed to have forgotten about me, by now, which was good, because my parents didn't care about me, and my siblings, well, they had each other. I didn't have any friends, so that was a plus. Christmas was arriving to London. And, honestly, I missed it. I missed exchanging presents and lighting up the whole house. And Tink, who was with us, agreed. So, she somehow got all these christmas decorations and we put them up in the hideout. I explained Peter and the boys what christmas was about.
We seemed like a family now. Peter and I even looked older. He looked 17 ish, I looked, and was, 16. I guess time flew by. Even the boys looked older.
Somehow, I always thought of what could've been like if Peter and the boys became, you know, normal. If, when we were bigger, moved into a house all together. I would explain to mom and dad, and, even though they wouldn't believe me at first, I would make them understand. Peter and I would be amazing parents. He could become a man, and me, I would become what I always wanted to be. A dancer.
Anyways, back to the story.
I went back to keep on giving Peter his medicine everyday, and, I started teaching him various things. I also took care of the boys, with help of Tink and other fairies, and taught them also. I taught them how to sing, and they turned out to love singing and performing.

*Peter's POV*
I was walking in the forest with Tink, a few weeks later. We were talking about various things, and we just enjoyed each other's company.
I was looking through, when a plant with tiny leaves and red berry like- things caught my attention.
'Tink! Look! What's that?'- I asked. She smiled at me and brought the plant down. She placed it in my hands.
'It's a mistletoe, Peter'- She said. I looked at her confused.
'Why are you smiling so much?'- I asked.
'You know, I went to London a couple of days ago. I noticed this. On christmas, one boy and one girl kiss under the mistletoe. It's the rule.'- She explained. I smiled back at her.
'Did you ever get kissed, Tink? I mean, do fairies... like... fall in love?'- I asked her. She turned pink.
'Yes, and yes. I am actually in love with someone right now. His name is Terrance, and we've been dating for two months now'- She smiled shyly. I laughed at her.
'You're incredible, Tinkerbell'- I said.
'You know? You should take this to Julie'- She said, pointing to the mistletoe.-'Im sure she will recognize it.'- I smiled. I nodded.
'Thanks, Tinkerbell'- I said, and walked away.
I found Julie in my room. How did I find her?
I heard a voice, an angelical voice when I walked in the hideout. The boys were all outside, so it couldn't be them. I opened slightly the room to my door, and Julie was singing, while she straightened a white dress she was on.
'Hey'- I said, going in. She turned back and smiled before turning again to the mirror.
'Hi'- She said quietly. I stood behind her.

'Did you make it yourself?'- I asked.
'No. One of Tink's friends did it for me. Do you like it?'- She asked.
'You look beautiful in that dress'- I admitted. She continued to see herself, until she looked up and saw that she had mistletoe right above her. She gasped and turned back, placing her hands in my chest.
'It's mistletoe'- She breathed with a smile. I smiled back at her.
'Yes. And do you know what people do under the mistletoe?'- I asked. She nodded.
'They kiss'- She said dreamily. I smirked at her.
'You dont want to break the rules'- I said, and pulled her closer to me. She closed her eyes and I kissed her. She wrapped her arms around my neck and I wrapped my arms around her waist. I noticed though, that she was very, like VERY thin. I worried, but I guess Julie's kisses distracted me.
We stumbled back, and accidentally fell on the bed. She fell on top of me, but it didn't seem to bother any of us.
It felt different. We've never kissed like this before. And I'm not saying I didn't like it. I could get used to it, of course.
We pulled apart, looking for air.
'I love you'- She whispered in my ear.
'I love you more'- I answered. She looked back at me, pecked my lips and said:
'Impossible'
I draped my arms over her, making her fall on top of me again, laughing. She rested her head on my chest.
'Possible'- I said.

Blightbane
Miscellaneous Notes: - I want to see about making a crude map of Shroud to help readers. - I also want to get back to writing Coalescence updates. Schedule Notes: - None for now, updates when I can. [ Thank you for your patience and support as I improve my writing and storytelling abilities. I'm also using this story to better develop lore that extends far beyond it. ] Thanks to another exceptionally talented artist, Hiroeth, Blightbane now has an official cover! Vera was alone again. “You’re completely unprepared. Never before has sending one of you off made me feel quite so guilty.” Whenever she found herself in doubt, she would weigh her actions against the guiding principles of the one whom she revered. “When you don’t know the rules of the game, start making them up. When you are constrained by unfavorable conditions, inject a little chaos.” It was the supplementary message that concerned Vera the most. It was difficult to follow because it was intentionally vague and mired in subjectivity. “How can I enjoy myself when you look so tormented? Are we in danger?” Vera fell silent. An experiment is taking place on a planetary scale. Across the surface of the planet, a phenomenon referred to as "Blight" is spreading. Festering regions defended by fierce creatures called “blightbeasts” taint the surface, warping the land and proliferating unceasingly. Among the sentient creatures of the planet, it is the Blightbane Guild’s responsibility to stem the tide. They endeavor to cleanse the land in a struggle of attrition, but they are losing ground. A young man named Caim has been uprooted from his former life and transported to The Shrouded Theocracy, an isolationist nation with fanatical policies. He must struggle to survive with only an unfamiliar strain of magic to aid him. There is a secret to this magic. One he knows very little about. He intends to explore just what makes this magic special. On the far border of the theocracy, a mage scientist named Inis discovers a revolutionary new way to infuse strength from defeated blightbeasts. Using herself as a test subject, this process allows her to grasp magical concepts previously thought beyond her reach. Though she tries to document any side effects that arise, something escapes her awareness. She is playing with a dangerous force that will claim her most treasured asset if she isn't careful. Everyone and everything on the planet is a part of the experiment. The experiment is a lie.
