After reading the letter, I ran towards the beach bare foot.
When I reached there, I saw Armaan sitting at the shore. When I reached near him, I saw a big 'SORRY RIDHIMAA' written on sand.
"It's OK," I said.
"Why didn't you wait there for me and why did you send it with Nish, why didn't you give it by yourself?" I bombarded him with questions.
"Easy tiger," he said laughing. "I didn't wait for you, because I needed to make this for you and for the flower thing, simply," he said with a shrug.
"OK, let's go swim," I said bouncing up and down.
"OK let's go," he said standing up.
That's when I saw that he is wearing a nylon blue short, with a white sando.
When we went into the water, he dropped me into it. I grasped his leg under the water and stood up.
"Why did you do that?" I asked in anger after and started walking away from him.
"Ridhimaa, come back I was just playing. Come back."
Not listening to him, I kept running away from him.
"Ridhimaa," he called again.
Crying, I continued running. Then someone grasped my wrist tightly and turned me around.
"I said that.... Shit, what happened?" He asked keeping both his hands on my shoulder.
I didn't look at him, so I don't know what do mean by that. Shaking my head, I again started moving away from him, towards the bungalow.
He again pulled me back, but this time in his arms.
"What happened?" He asked. His one hand was rubbing my upper back and other was tightly wrapped around my waist. Instead of moving away burying my face into his chest, I hugged him back.

"What happened?" He asked me again after few minutes.
"I got scared, I would have drowned," I said, hugging him tightly.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you, I just.....just wanted to freshen our old memories," He said to me, hugging me back.
I remember he always did this, even though we weren't good friends then, we used to act like best friends in front of our family. But whenever he use to pull this stunt on me, I use to get scared and run away to his mom or dad, because they were the only one who could stop him.
After few minutes, I moved away from him, towards the water.
"What would you like to do now?" He asked.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean, would you like to sleep or something else?"
We had lot's of fun at the beach. We didn't even realize that we skipped our lunch. We had our dinner in one of the restaurant at the beach. Now we were sitting in the living room, after having shower.
"At this time? When will we go home?"
"Actually..... We aren't returning today we'll be leaving tomorrow. I've rented this house for two days."
"Ohh..... But u didn't me earlier I didn't ask mom, dad. I need to ask them. I don't think they'll agree," I said, while searching my cellphone.
"Hey, hey, chill. I've already talk to your mom yesterday and she agreed," he said smiling.
"She agreed?" I asked confused. He nodded his head with a smile.
God, are we talking about my mom.
"Ok," I replied.
"So.... What would you like to do?" He asked again.
"Anything you like," I said.
"No, you tell."
"I seriously don't know, so you choose."

"Ok! Would you like to watch a movie?" He asked.
"Yaa, no problem," I said with a shrug.
"Wait here. I've a movie in my PD. I'll get it from my room," He said already walking towards his room.
Let's see, which movie he have.
He returned within a minute with PD. I was about to ask which movie we are watching but a knock on the door stopped me from doing so.
"I'll get it," he said walking towards the main door.
When he returned he had four bottles of mountain dew with him.
"Who was that and from where did you get these?" I asked pointing at the bottles.
"After our dinner, I asked the restaurant's manager for his business card. I called him just now and asked him to deliver these bottles here, so that was the deliver boy with these bottles on the door," he said. "Let's go watch the movie."
"Oh My God! Titanic, this is my favorite movie," I said, when I saw the movie name.
"Yaa, I know," he said. He came and sat besides me on the couch. His left leg was brushing my right one. His left hand was draped on the couch behind me, touching my head.

The Girl He Used To Know - An UnderCurrent Story
Pierre Havelock is an author, atleast now he is. In truth 3 decades ago Pierre was dragged across space & time only to land on our boring old earth. So when one of his 'characters', a girl based on someone he once knew in his past life, appears before him - Pierre is less than best pleased. He is even less happy when said girl decides to make his house her new home! __Now on Royal-Road! ‘The Girl he Used To Know’ began life when I came across a rather silly prompt on a web-novel site I was using; "Theme: My 2D waifu is now my real life Valentine's!?"Well with a title like that I couldn’t help but be interested by the idea of leaving my usual writing niche and trying something a bit more novel. Tying it loosely back to my main series ‘UnderCurrent’, ‘GUK’ was born as a standalone romance novella which you are now holding, styled with Japanese tropes in mind from a more western perspective.I hope you will find this to be an interesting and fun read - Designed with the intent of being a somewhat contemplative and ‘cosy’ story - Whatever the case I thank you for picking it up and giving it a once over.- Momentie __I adapted Draft 2 to audio - I can't voice act, or edit, yet I kinda like it & find it personally the best way to enjoy the story😂 - https://youtu.be/kNWiSiZU53U
