The sound of Bring It Back by Travis Porter blared through the speakers of Arabella's Beats Pill. I wanted to murder this girl so damn bad for this because instead of getting ready, this fool was bustin' it like she didn't have shit to do.
"Arabella! If you don't cut that shit out!" I snapped.
"Cut what out? I'm just showing your sister how a real bitch really bounce that ass," Arabella told me.
"You need to 'bounce that ass' into your damn dress before I choke you," I threatened.
"Alright, but just know that when the reception comes around, I'm gonna be dropping it like it's hot," Arabella smirked.
"Oh my God," I groaned.
"God ain't got-"
"Don't say it!" Marcella hissed.
"Oh snap. I forgot. We in church," She giggled.
"Wait. Y'all waited until now to tell this fool to not say something bad in a church?" Regina asked.
"Right. Up in here cursing like it's normal," Chastity shook her head.
"Y'all gone burn in Hell," My cousin Armani said.
"Don't say hell in church," I hissed.
"How about all of you shut up and quit cursing in this dog gone church like you ain't got no dang on sense," Regina spoke up.
"Ladies, it's almost time," My grandmother said as she poked her head inside of the room.
"Oh crap!" I panicked, "Where's the veil?"
"Calm down, crazy. I have it right here," Marcella said as she walked towards me.
"Woo! Thank God," I sighed in relief.
"Yeah yeah. Now come on so I can zip up this dog gone dress," She responded. I turned around and she zipped up my dress for me. Regina helped me put on the veil. I heard the sound of sniffling and I looked in the mirror only to see Chastity starting to cry. Soon, all three of my sisters burst into tears while Arabella and I looked at them in confusion.

"Why are you guys crying?" I asked.
"Because...you're getting married and...and it's just so...so-" She continued to cry her eyes out.
"Guys, I'm just getting married. It's not like I'm going to hop on a plane and leave forever," I smiled.
"Chad, not you too," I murmured.
"I'm just so happy that you've finally found happiness. I know dad, with his sensitive self, would've been just as happy as us," He cried. I felt tears start to come to my eyes as well. I could just picture it now. Our dad crying like a big baby because his little girl was now getting married to the love of her life and the father of her beautiful baby boy.
"Daphne, just remember that when you get married some day, I'll be right by your side no matter what," He said, "And I'll be right next to you as you walk down that aisle towards the man of your dreams."
I didn't realize that I was crying until I felt my tears start to fall onto my hand.
"Dad made me promise to walk you down that aisle in his place before he died and today I'm going to keep that promise because I know that he would want to be right next to you as you walk down that aisle to that weird soon-to-be husband of yours," Chad explained.
"I should tell Sam what you just said," I sniffed.
"It's not like it's not true," He responded. The door opened and in walked my grandfather.
"What in the world is going on? The wedding is about to start," He said. Marcella handed me a tissue and I dabbed at my eyes quickly.
"Sorry, grandpa. We were just...ummm..."

"Y'all were crying and getting all emotional weren't you?" He asked.
"Yeah," I laughed.
"Jesus. You need to save those emotions for those doggone people out there," He said, "They're the ones that came to see you get all emotional and crap."
"Grandpa, you're terrible," I sniffed.
"And you need to get your butt down that aisle before that boy has a panic attack," He quipped.
"Fine. Fine. We'll be out in a moment," I told him.
"Alright. You better hurry up because my old self is hungry," He remarked.
"Wait. Did you come here just for the food?" I asked.
"No. I came for the food, you, and Sam. In that order," He responded.
"Russell, I swear your behind is just as rude as you want to be," My grandmother said.
"Anette, I'm not about to sit up here and give her a false sense of hope," He responded.
"Oh lord. Somebody better get this man before we have a two in one," She muttered shaking her head.
"A two in one?" Grandpa looked at my grandmother in cousin.
"A wedding and a funeral," She responded. Chad, Chastity, Marcella, Regina, Arabella, Armani, and I bust out laughing.
"If y'all don't shut the hell up and get out there already," He threatened.
"Yes, sir," We all said. He walked out of the room with my grandmother in tow muttering under his breath. Arabella got into her dress swiftly with Regina's help.
"It's show time, people," Chastity said.
"You ready to start a new chapter of your life?" Arabella asked.
"As ready as I'll ever be," I breathed in deeply.
"Just think that as soon as you walk through that door and down that aisle, Sam will be right at the alter waiting for you," Arabella told me.
"I can't wait to see him," I said giddily.
"You know they saw each other yesterday right?" Arabella informed.
"What?!" My sister exclaimed.
"Yeah they were in her part of the hotel room just knocking the headboard into the wall," Arabella said.
"Okay! I didn't need a description!" Chad exclaimed.
"We'll talk about this later. For now, let's get you down that aisle," Regina said.
"Alright," I nodded. Soon the music started and my bridesmaids walked out first. Arabella hugged me.
"I can't wait to watch you walk down that aisle to marry the man of your dreams," She murmured.
"Thank you, Arabella. You are the best friend that a girl could ever have," I responded.
"And you the same," She replied. She picked up her bouquet and walked out the door. I took in a deep breath and I looked at myself in the mirror. I put my veil over my face and picked up my bouquet. Chad turned to me.
"You ready?" He asked.
"I'm ready," I responded.
