I fell looking up and seeing Killua jump down to save me. I reach my hand out and he grabs it. He pulls me closer to him and we brace for impact but we get flung back up to the top. I had my eyes closed. I open them, still holding onto Killua.
Hisoka: Did you really think I'd let you die that easily?~ *grins*
Killua: You bastard! Why would you scare me like that!?
I fall to the ground all shaken up. I thought I was going to die.
Hisoka: You better stay hidden for a while, I told Illumi that I killed you
Killua: *looks down at me* Gon?
Me: Y- yeah?
Killua: Are you ok?
Me: S- sure
Hisoka: You should be happy
Killua: Oh yeah? How'd you even pull us back up?
Hisoka: *grins* I used bungee gum
Killua: Oh yeah, why'd you save him then? I thought you wanted to kill him
Hisoka: He isn't worthy of killing right now
Me: Why
Killua: Huh?
Me: Why did you help him
Hisoka: I missed you guys *smiles*
Killua: Nope nope nope, come on Gon we should go back home before Illumi find out
Me: O- ok
Hisoka: I can go find him to see if he's close
Me: Why are you helping us?
Killua: Gon it doesn't matter right now we need to go back to your house, Hisoka if your lying to us you won't like what happens
Hisoka: Oh~
Hisoka leaves and we do too. Killua grabs my hand and leads us back home. When we get home I run straight to my room and slam the door. Killua knocked a couple times but I didn't open it. I felt so useless back there. I should have helped.
Killua: *knocks on the door* Gon open the door

Me: No!
Killua: Please
Me: *thinks* No
Killua: I'll open it myself then
Me: *opens door*
Killua: Thank you *walks in and shuts the door behind him* What's wrong with you? You've been acting weird since, well since Hisoka-
Me: No I'm not ok! And of course I'd act weird. I almost died!
Killua: Hey be quiet or your aunt will hear you, but what's wrong? *sits down next to me*
Me: I felt useless back there
Killua: Well considering that Hisoka was holding you, you didn't have much of a choice. Hisoka is strong, but you looked as if you had just given up
Me: I did give up, I was ready to die
Killua: Don't say that
Me: No, I was ready to die I should have died
He places a hand on my shoulder.
Killua: Don't ever say that again or I'll have to beat some sense into you
Me: *looks down* Sorry
Killua: It's fine *looks at the time* Hey it's getting pretty late, do you still want to do all that stuff you said earlier or just go to bed?
Me: I want to sleep *gets into bed*
Killua lays down.
Killua: Night
Me: Killua?
Killua: Yes?
Me: Can you uh
Killua: *sits up* What?
Me: Can you s- sleep with me? *blushes*
Killua: Um sure
He gets up and lays down next to me. I grab his hand and hold it. I smile and close my eyes. And we fall asleep.

Nameless Hypocrite
"Bastard, surrender yourself!" "You think you can escape our encirclement?!" "An omnicidal fiend like you can only atone in death!" Despite his precarious situation, a young man ignored the union's provocations. His violet robe was in tatters, showing the incredible number of attacks he received, yet there was no sign of injury. Noticing the light smile tugging at his lips, the pursuing heroes warily watched him, cautious of a final attack. It was only by working together that they could corner a monster like him. An arrow pierced the air, beelining towards the young man. A malicious gleam revealed itself in his eyes; he unsheathed his sword, a long, curved blade, and deflected the projectile, spiking it into the ground. The archer's eyes widened before being split in two. He died suddenly and indignantly. The group backed away; their former confidence diminished greatly by the invisible counter. It was then that the young man sighed, his voice full of lament and self-pity. "Being a saint truly is difficult, even the world cannot understand my righteous actions." The expressions of the surrounding heroes turned ugly. Such blatant hypocrisy! Yes, the protagonist is a villain. We don't do morals here. New chaps when I write them

Directorate: Nationbuilding in Apocalypse
A nation is just a means of survival. Metro Manila fell within 5 months of the first report of cannibalism. Once a hyperurbanized region of 15 million inhabitants, it's been reduced to a dead, greenless shell. Most of the infected had since left to ravage the countryside. The central government was nowhere to be found. Among the survivors who clung to the few gardens and humble plots of arable land left, one of them finds evidence that the slaughter wasn't going to just end with the first wave. Without a nation and a wall of guns, everyone will die. Directorate is an original nationbuilding webnovel that focuses on the gradual rise to power of a select few individuals, and the subsequent unification of the survivors of a devastated Metro Manila. Releases targeted at every 1 to 3 weeks. If there are no chapter updates after 3 weeks, there will be a progress update. Number of releases targeted at a maximum of 100 chapters. Every 10-15 chapters, there will be a 1-month hiatus to let me plan for the next 10-15 chapters. Double releases have a not-insignificant-but-still-small chance of occurring. Original cover edited on GIMP. Destroyed city original photo "apocalypse" from Camila Rodrigues on Pixabay.

Seize the Sky
A missed opportunity...A second Chance....Justin McClain, a poor web-developer, is killed on the night he means to propose. Instead of dying he finds himself reborn into a child's body in a strange and alien world. Will he repeat his past mistakes or will he use his knowledge and Seize the Sky?This is going to be my attempt at a Wuxia/Xianxia/Cultivation Novel. I've been reading a ton of Chinese web-novels recently and Couldn't resist trying to write my own. This story will contain lots of action and martial arts and will most likely make the MC pretty OP, but that's sorta the point of wuxia novels. This is also going to be focused on pokemon like animals and will be somewhat along the vein of Long Live Summons although less haremy. It will contain mature content although I have no idea how much. Also, this is a secondary project for me. I've already got a novel on here I don't update enough so I'm treating this as a side project. Be prepared for very sporadic updates.
