Kurapika: What do you mean you failed him?
Me: I p- promised that I would protect him no matter what, but-
Leorio: Killua don't blame yourself for this it's not your fault-
Me: Yes it is!
At that moment I felt pressure on my hand. I looked down and Gon squeezed my hand. I smiled a bit.
Me: Gon?
His eyes barely open.
Gon: If I don't make it- I'm sorry
Me: Hey just close your eyes, your going to be ok
He closes his eyes and Leorio stops the car. We get to this building that I've never seen before. We get out of the car and Leorio holds Gon.
Leorio: You guys stay here I'll be right back
Me: Wait can I come?
Leorio: Trust me please
I say nothing and stand there watching Leorio carry Gon inside.
Me: Is he going to make it?
Kurapika: I'm not sure
I get inside the car and stare into space. I continued to ask myself the same question over and over again. Will he be ok? Hours later Leorio walks out with no emotion on his face. He opens my door.
Leorio: He made it *smalls smile* If you want to come in you can, you can too Kurapika
I get out of the car and we all walk in. When we get inside I look around. It was set up just like a hospital. We got to where Gon was and he was laying on the bed. I walked up to the bed looking at him, he was still asleep. I looked at his neck which was bandaged up. He had a couple cuts and bruises on his arms and legs but they weren't too bad. That reminded me of the cut on my arm, I looked at it and it was still bleeding. It didn't look too deep but it started to hurt.

Leorio: Hey Killua what happened to your arm?
Me: Oh uh Hisoka did it it's fine though *looks at Gon*
Leorio: *grabs something* Here let me see it
I show him my arm and he starts to clean it or whatever and then wraps it up.
Me: Thanks
Kurapika: So how is Gon doing?
Leorio: Well he lost a lot of blood but he did make it. It seemed as if Hisoka wasn't wanting to kill Gon, like he wanted to make it seem as if he did. Maybe he knew that we would take him somewhere to get better?
Kurapika: That does make sense but why would he do it in the first place?
Me: Well Hisoka knew that if he didn't do it then Illumi would have actually killed him.
Leorio: *sits down* Why go through all that trouble then?
Kurapika: *sits down next to him* Maybe he actually cares about Gon?
Me: Yeah sure, you think that clown cares about Gon not in a million years. I'm gonna take a walk text me if anything happens *walks out*
I walk out to get some fresh air. I look at my arm as I walk down the sidewalk. I continued walking for about an hour and Leorio and Kurapika hadn't texted me at all. I started to get worried and decided to walk back. When I got there Leorio was crying. But why? What happened?
Me: Leorio what happened?!
Leorio: I don't think he'll make it Killua
When I heard that sentence my heart dropped. Did I hear that right?
Me: No you're wrong! He's going to be ok!
Kurapika: *walks over to us with puffy eyes*
Was he crying too?
Kurapika: Killua-
I ignored Kurapika and ran over to where Gon was laying. I place both my hands on the bed and look down at him. I feel a tear on my cheek and wipe it away.

Me: Gon please wake up please!
Leorio: *yells from other room* Killua he won't make it, Hisoka killed hi-
Me: NO! I refuse to give up on him! He's breathing! He's ok!
Gon was barely breathing. He moved a bit which shocked me.
Me: Gon?
Gon: K- Killua y- you know I won't make it
Me: I won't stop trying
*Kurapika and Leorio walk into the room*
Leorio: Gon?
Gon tries to sit up but I stop him.
Me: Just lay down please don't use up all your energy
Gon: *sits up anyways* It's fine-
Me: No it's not! Gon I can't lose you! Not like this!!
*slow clapping*

Rebirth Of Civilization
Andrew suddenly finds himself alone in world that is not his own. The creatures are hostile and unfamiliar, the land around him unrecognizable. He will have to work hard to explore the wilderness he has found himself in, to unravel the ancient magics of this world, and to create a safe place for the others lost in a foreign world like himself. This is a slow paced novel, with an early focus on discovery, survival and crafting. The slow pace is intentional as I hope to write this novel for many many chapters to come. This is also the first fiction I've written and I'm always working on improving my writing so all feedack is appreciated and taken into account. Discord

Grin the Cheat
There was a time when heroes roamed between the Four Great Cities. They fought for kingdoms and princesses and they lived and died by their valour. Or so the stories say. The way the minstrels sing it, everyone had a swashbuckling good time. Nowadays, buckles are rarely swashed. All the great beasts have been slain, all the great treasures unearthed. Princesses are few and far between — the ones worth fighting over, anyway — and the kingdoms have been divvied up between the sons of sons of sons of the heroes of old. No valour required. Frankly, the hero business is in a sorry state. Luckily for Grin the Cheat, thieving and murder are thriving as usual. If you have a moment, please vote for this story at Top Web Fiction. Re: (Union//Incarnation)
Two years ago, a meteor fell and decimated the southeastern lands of Gaia, turning them into wastelands constantly shrouded in white fog. None of those who saw the blazing calamity with their own eyes lived to tell the tale, and those who attempted to venture in never came back. Since then, towers, caverns, and ruins have appeared and disappeared without a pattern. Those who were brave enough to venture in were rewarded with a partner capable of defying the natural laws as humanity knows it. People started to call them ‘Incarnation’, and before long, more and more Incarnation were gathered and sold as commodity, especially after a billionaire has sponsored a fighting tournament offering cash prizes to those possessing the strongest Incarnation, spurring the greedy and desperate to hunt for the fabled creatures at the cost of their lives. Claire Saphira wanted none of that. She simply wished for a life where she could live without worry of her own survival. As she ran from the debt collectors for the umpteenth time, she was swallowed by an errant tower, where she saw a frail, pale-skinned girl with ashen hair hung by chains. It was a chance, a chance to participate in the tournament and live without worrying about survival. Yet, something nagged in the back of her mind. Why did she look so familiar? Planned release schedule: One chapter every day for Mon-Fri, and a break on Sat-Sun. The release will slow down at some point, but most likely won't go under 3 chapters a week.
