"sofia hurry up we're going to miss our bloody flight" bella said practically running.
"bella, we have half an hour until it boards. it will take us two minutes to get there. please calm down."
"but things can happen, you always have to be prepared by being early!"
"we're more than early bella. we'll be fine. why are you acting so strange for?"
"i don't know i go on holiday quite a lot, but i always get so nervous about going on planes. and for some reason i'm so nervous to meet your brother. what if he doesn't like me?"
"bella shut up you know he likes you. meeting him in person isn't going to change that, you act like you guys have never spoken before!"
"i know but like he's so important to you and you're my best friend and i'm nervous because i really want him to like me you know"
"he will! now stop being dramatic and pass me some crisps"
—
bella and sofia stepped out into the italian air after a three hour plane journey. it felt good to get off and stretch their legs.
"where is he?" bella asked.
"i don't know, i can't see him." sofia said, slightly worried her brother had forgotten to pick them up until she looked to her left and saw him standing there with a cheesy grin staring at her. she ran straight over to him jumping into his arms.
"i've missed you so much" she exclaimed with tears rolling down her face.
"i missed you to- ARE YOU CRYING?" he laughed.
"shut up you know how bad i missed you" she sighed.
"i know. i've missed you just as bad" he said hugging her tighter.
"hi..." bella said awkwardly in the background.

sofia laughed. "oh my god, hi! it's so nice to finally meet you" paulo exclaimed.
"you too!" bella smiled.
"this is cute. my two favourite people getting along!"
"come on, get in the car. i'll take you guys home."
—
"oriana!"
"sofia! it's been too long."
"i know, i've missed you!"
"i've missed you more. you must be bella?"
"i am, hi!"
"hey! i've heard so many great things about you!"
"you too!" she smiled.
"so sofia, any boys in england turned your head?"
sofia let out a sarcastic laugh. "not any nice ones!"
"come on, fill me in!"
sofia spent the next half hour filling oriana in with the dele situation with bella occasionally chiming in to let them know her feelings about dele clear with things such as big sighs and tuts.
"footballers, can't trust them!" oriana joked. "on a serious note, fuck him! you knew him how long, three weeks? girl trust me, you don't need a man you barely know. forget about him, someone banging is going to come along one day and he'll be great. never know, might meet some nice foreign men when it's international break!"
"hopefully, although i think i'm going to keep a good distance from footballers. bella on the other hand, i'm gonna find her a nice argentinian man and set her up."
"who you thinking?"
"gazzaniga i think sofia said his name is?" bella stated. "she hasn't even shown me a picture yet but a nice man is a nice man and i need me one!" the girls all laughed.
they spent hours sitting together gossiping, mainly about boys but also about school, football etc. oriana and sofia even tried to teach bella the rules of football and finally showed her a picture of gazzaniga to which she practically drooled at. they were laughing at a picture of paulo when he was younger when sofia's phone buzzed.
