"morning!" sofia was awoken by a chirpy voice and a cup of tea held up in front of her face.
"morning lo." she smiled.
"how you feeling?"
"i'm fine," sofia replied raising her eyebrow. "how are you feeling?"
"good, good." he pursed his lips awkwardly. "so harry winks thinks you're fit."
"the young english player?"
"yeah him."
"oh... nice." she smiles slightly to herself.

paulo and dele sat at completely opposite ends of the room with paulo refusing to even glance in dele's direction. he was hardly paying attention to the conversations around him, instead he was texting sofia- checking up on her because he knew she was hurting.
he snapped back in when he heard one of the players discussing transfer rumours.
"did you guys hear the dybala rumours? that he's linked to us?"
"do you think they're true?" another player chimed in.
"for dele's sake, lets hope not." gazzaniga replied with a forced but sarcastic laugh. all eyes turned to dele, who looked shocked but remained quiet. beside him, eric dier sat, looking eager to say something but never did. gazzaniga stared at him, eyebrow raised waiting for him to defend dele but smirked when he knew that he wouldn't as they both knew dele didn't want his 'dirty laundry' aired in front of the rest of the team.
"if he does join us, i hope he introduces me to his sister. i'd like to get to know her." harry winks spoke up, eyes widening when he realised what he said in front of paulo. "sorry" he mouthed which earned him a faint laugh.
"she'd never go for you." dele spat and charged out of the room.
the room fell silent, every single player was left speechless looking around the room waiting for someone to say something.

"well... what's his problem?"
"i think paulo knows."
"leave me out of this." paulo replied. "if you want to know what he's done, ask him. or dier, i know that he knows. i'm done with this conversation, i don't care what mood dele is in anymore but for the love of god leave sofia alone... all of you." he said with an angry undertone making sure to look at harry winks during that last sentence.
harry nodded- he'd seen gazzaniga get angry enough the last couple of days, he was certain he didn't want to be the next person to piss him off. however, what gazzaniga doesn't know can't hurt him, he thought.

Someone Like Adam
"You know, it won't physically hurt you to be nice for once." I crossed my arms in front of my chest and groaned. "I don't want to take a chance." the corner of his lips lifted a little as he finished his sentence. "Well, you don't hear me complaining. The view of a someone so desperately working out is not a delight either." I retorted in a weary voice. "I bet it isn't." he narrowed his eyes at me and commented. Ugh.. Why is he so damn annoying? "You know what, just take your arrogant ass out of my room." I scowled at him, pointing towards the door. With small steps, he walked towards me. I took a step backwards when he neared me. He was invading my personal space, making me a bit flustered. The urge to push back his golden-brown hair covering his forehead was increasing with every passing second. "Gladly." he mumbled against my face and then walked past me out of my room. It took me a minute to calm down my racing heartbeat. ... He was a mystery, an enigma I wanted to solve. He was exhausting, he was infuriating, yet staying away from him was not an option. He was making me feel things I haven't felt before. Adam McArdle!
