"greg as in... your ex greg?" sofia heard dele behind her. she didn't answer. she couldn't. all she could do is stare at her ex, mouth agape, hands shaking, she could barely breathe.
"i knew you were in london but i didn't know you were here," greg said to her. "it's so good to see you mia bella."
"what... what are you doing here?" she trembled.
"i got divorced."
sofia's breath hitched. he was divorced? after all this time he finally did it?
"why?"
"mi sei mancata."
"um... what does that mean?" dele piped up.
"it means he missed me." she sighed.
"who is this?"
"my boyfriend." sofia replied.
"boyfriend?" greg looked shocked. "so soon?"
"soon?! listen greg i don't know why you're here but it really doesn't concern me anymore. i'm sorry you and anna got a divorce but that's not my problem."
"so... just like that you've forgotten all about me? this is what you wanted fee!"
"just like that? greg it's been over a year. i decided to go to university in england purely so that i could get away from you and focus on something other than you. you don't understand how hard it was to get over you but i've moved on. please respect that."
"so that's it, you're over me?"
"yes." sofia replied, voice cracking. deep down she knew that was a lie.
"i don't believe you."
"she said she's over you, now leave her alone." dele said sharply. "come on sof, lets go."
sofia stood for a minute, staring at greg. yes, she'd moved on but... she wasn't over him. there was too much love there for her to get over him- she wasn't sure she ever would. she gave him one last glance before she grabbed dele's hand and walked away from greg.

"so that was um... weird."
"yeah i mean, i don't really want to talk about it if that's ok?"
"of course it's ok." dele replied. there was a pang of annoyance in his chest. he knew she was hurting but he wanted her to talk to him about it, he wanted to be there for him without her bottling up her feelings or keeping them from him.
the car ride back was quiet. dele didn't want to make sofia uncomfortable by asking questions and sofia didn't feel up for much talking. so many thoughts were racing through her mind. why now? they had been together for so long, and he never once even got close to divorcing anna, so why now that she's moved on? and was he in london for her? he didn't know anyone else in london, not that she knew of anyway so why else would he be there? she couldn't take all of these questions racing through her mind- she knew she was going to have to talk to him eventually. she had to have answers.
---
"your ex WHAT?" bella shouted.
"yep he came to london."
"for you?"
"i don't know," sofia sighed. "i have so many questions i need answered."
"god i bet." they fell into a silence, both lost in their thoughts. sofia's phone chimed, causing them both to jump.
"god who is that?"

Stranger than Fiction (Draft Edition)
Rewrite -> https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/55140/stranger-than-fiction 150k words of rewritten and new content, updating 3 times a day. Faith is like ice-cream. It comes in all flavors. Greek, Norse, Sumerian, Christian— just name it and it's there. Adventures, on the other hand, are like credit cards. The first taste is free, but the price only goes up from there. Family heirlooms, now those are true evil. You get burdened with them for sentimental reasons even if they’re icky. For Lukas Aguilar, it was a pendant. A small, weird metal nib with absolutely no vampiric tendencies. All he wanted was to finish the job at hand, and get on that book he had been postponing for a while now. Instead he got served with an apocalypse for breakfast, a cave full of eldritch monsters for the company and the whims of a ruined goddess for his To-Do list. Really, a simple NO from the universe would have sufficed. Acknowledgments Editor-in-Chief: Solo Starfish Artwork: Exodus

The Monster Inside: The First Vampire
Despite appearances, there was once a time where monsters did not exist. Where peace and prosperity reigned over all life. But those sinful and demonic forces that had hidden themselves in the shadows just couldn't help themselves could they? They wanted a piece of that prosperity too. They wanted to taint it, corrupt it, revel in its dark side. This is the story of a boy who was tainted. Of a boy who unintentionally bore a seed of sin and who in his naivety let it out. This is the story of how that boy was shamed and disgraced. Of how he was outcast for simply being. This is the story of how that boy learned to embrace the darkness that made him different. A darkness that would later make him known as the Lord of Night. Note to Reader: I understand this book is not for everyone, if there is a writer that can write to please everyone, I have never heard of them. The MC can be frustrating in his decisions as he learns to grow and accept what and who he is. I believe this reality is unavoidable. That being said, if you feel the need to give a review, please do so, just know that I will report you if all that review seems to do is blab toxic language and insult my literary choices without giving constructive advice or alternatives. That's not just a me policy, that's a policy of this website. I'm not writing this note because I'm a writer who does not acknowledge that there are faults in my work. I know there are. That's what happens when it hasn't been professionally edited by someone other than the author. I'm saying this because I'm sick of reading 1 star or 0.5 star rated reviews that seem to do nothing but hate on the book because they don't like the story. No comments on grammar, ways to improve or suggestions for better story arcs. Just plain hate. It's not on, and I frankly shouldn't have to write this note, but needed to get it off my chest. In saying all that, thank you to those who do leave reviews that don't fall into the above category. Your appreciation of my work, or alternatively, your willingness to give advice for improvement, is appreciated.

From Fake Dreams
The Magus Killer was dying. He had done all he could to be a Hero and save as many people as he could. He killed his father to do it. He killed his adopted mother to do it. He killed his wife in the hopes to put an end to the need to do it ever again. He failed in rescuing his daughter as a result of his efforts. All he had left was a cursed and failing body, a sizable yet antiquated home in Fuyuki Japan, and his adoptive amnisiac son whose life he had destroyed in the first place. And then the dreams came. Dreams of War, Fire, Curses, unborn Gods, Heroes, and Monsters. Dreams of unresolved conflicts, promises, dreams, and tasks. Dreams with his nearly clueless son in the middle of it all. The Magus Killer was dying. But he could still prepare for what was to come. And fortunately, that was something he was still terrifyingly exceptional at. Currently at chapter 60 on FF.net

Shieldmaiden: Unbroken
An instant is all that's needed to change a persons life. A single encounter. A single desire can bring together many people to change the world. One thought. From the moment humanity began its course of self-destruction, there were those who desired to change the world for the better. To stop the harm to their planet, and themselves, a group of people came together and formed a world from their imaginations. They decided that humanity could not be a part of the world they would destroy, and would allow the world to recoup. They would pull the people from their world in groups, and until everyone was gone, every month more people would be brought to this new world. An unfamiliar world. An unfamiliar people. An unfamiliar system. I never expected to write a LITRPG, or an Isekai, and I'm not confident I can do it well, but I liked writing the first chapters, so I'm gonna try my best! Also, I don't recommend reading it on mobile.
