《More than rubies [D. Alli x E. Dier]》Chapter 6

"Aww. It's good to see you're friends again", a familiar raspy voice suddenly mentioned.
Ben.
"Yeah. It took a while, but after Dele explained everything, I undestood him. We're alright again."
Harry Winks was there, too.
"We've seen you two lately and we were worried about our most famous bromance!", he joked.
I gulped.
"But now, that everything is fine", he continued, "We will tell the others, too! They are really worried about you. We know you like to mock each other and sometimes fight, but it has never been as serious and bad as that one. You made Eric cry! What did you do to disturb him like that?"
I groaned.
"There's no need in repeating these ugly words."
Carefully I moved my shoulder, to signalize to Eric to move his head.
Then I turned around.
"I'm sorry, that I have been in such a bad mood, recently."
Ben looked suprised.
"Oh, why? It's clearly not your fault! If my grandma had serious surgery, I'd be extremly worried, too!"
Harry nodded.
"Me, too. We totally understand you. You have all the Spurs support you need! We've got endless supplies."
He winked at me.
I thanked them and spent the rest of the day with Eric.
A couple days later, I drove to that club again, to meet her.
We've been writing for a short time, but I found her okay.
She was a boring, normal person. It was easy, to wrap her around my finger.
I asked her out and soon, I was able to call her my girlfriend.
Eric certainly would find her attractive.
I didn't. I felt bad for her, because she seemed so happy in love, and I felt nothing at all.
I was in love with a dude, but I could perfectly cover up my sexuality with that fake-relationship...

I kissed her, thinking of Eric, I held her hand, wishing it was his, I smiled at her, wishing it was him...
"Shh!", I warned her. "That's a suprise, okay?"
She nodded.
I knocked twice.
"What?", someone yelled.
"Who is this?", somebody else shouted. Check! They were both there!
We went inside.
"Hi guys.", I began.
"Oh my god! Who is this? Hello...", Kyle smirked.
"You're married, prick."
The girl stood next to me and shyly introduced herself.
"So... Is this right? You're Dele's gf now?"
She slowly nodded and blushed.
"Yes..."
Eric came out of the bathroom with wet hair and just a pair of boxers on.
He must have taken a shower.
He looked so good. I saw his sixpack and his big muscels.
But I? I was so ugly...
"Gah! A girl?! Why didn't you warn me?! I'm half naked! Who is that? What is she doing here. Oh, hi, Dele! Wait what? No! Nononono! She isn't....?"
"Yeah, she is", I slowly replied.
"Nah, Bro. You gotta be kidding me!"
I shook my head.
"That's my new girlfriend!", I happily answered.
At least I sounded happy.
Then I put my arm around her waist.
"Oh, Dele", she whispered and giggled.
"Hahaha. Yes so funny. Why would she even giggle? Duh, shut up girl.", I thought.
"I'm so happy with her!", I lied.
Eric smiled.
"I'm happy for you two. You're a cute couple."
Kyle agreed.
"Yeah, really."
"I don't mean to force you to leave, but I'd like to get dressed...", Eric admitted.
I smirked. "No problem.", I laughed.
"I will show you off to everyone!"
I poked her into the cheek.
"Model."
We left the room and knocked on Harry's door.

I shoved her inside.
"Suprise, Kane!"
Harry looked up from his phone.
"Oh, hey Dele... And?"
She looked up.
"Ruby. Ruby Mae. Nice to meet you."
They shook hands.
"Little boy has a girlfriend now... Unbelievable, how fast they grow up..."
I looked pouty.
"I'm not little!"
Harry chuckled.
"You two are a lovely couple."
"Oh yes you are!", Jan suddenly said, who just came out of the bathroom.
I waved at him.
"We've still got plenty of rooms to go to, to show Ruby off."
I squeezed her hand.
"Come on now. Bye, guys!", I yelled and took her to the next room.
"Nabil old buddy! Look what I've got here."
Nabil was excited.
"Duuuude! That's some crazy chick you got there. She's pretty."
I laughed. "And she's all mine!"
Ruby blushed again. "You're so handsome. Hello Nabil."
"And that's Benjamin."
He quickly stood up and shook Ruby's hand.
"Nice to meet you, Miss."
She laughed.
"Let's keep it down. Ruby is definetly enough!" I smiled.

Bloodlines
Bloodlines is the first major story set in the far larger and immensely connected universe known as Infinitum. A group of renegades and misfits take into the sky in their fancy skyship to fulfill the prophecy they don't care about and defeat the Empire they care even less about. In the process, they learn things (they would rather not) of the fucked up Universe, dead gods, and the future that holds no mercy. Bloodlines draws inspiration from One Piece. But in the bigger picture, Bloodlines is one of many stories set in Cosmere-like universe where plots stretch beyond planets and star systems and stakes are higher than godhood (like in Malazan chronicles). Currently, I am planning to finish the first arc [Bandit Arc], add 10k words interlude with some revelations, then publish a story happening elsewhere. Then I will be back to write the second arc. For now, the Fifth Region has 8 arcs planned. Officially, there are 5 regions. The Fifth Region is not the shortest but is far from the longest regions. - PS. Pay attention to flavor text. Chapters published weekly.
