"You're taking the piss" I said to my mother
"No I am not and I don't like your tone young lady" she said back to me
"Oh really you dong like my tone?" I asked
"Well maybe you should of thought about that before you told that boyfriend of yours ill be interning at his work" I said angrily to her
"He's my husband, your stepdad, come on Amy this will give you a real shot to get to know him" she said
"I've tried to get to know him" I said but both me and my mum knew it was a lie
"Come on I've been with Mauricio for 5 years now and at first you didn't like him because you didn't want anyone replacing dad and then when he started coaching Tottenham it was one more reason for you to dislike him" my mom said
"I know I should of gave him a proper chance but it was just so hard at time" I said as I leaned my head on her shoulder
"I know it was baby, but you know no matter what you and your brother are always going to be number one in my heart" she said as she gave me a hug
"I know" I said as I hugged her back
"So you're gonna give him a chance?"
"I guess I could, have you told him I've agreed to all of this" I said while smiling at her
"I was thinking you could tell him when he comes home" she said
"And when is he coming home?" I asked
"In an hour or so, how about you go make us some popcorn and we watch mamma Mia while waiting for him" she suggested
"I'm down for that" I said getting up to make the popcorn
Half way trough the movie we heard the front door opening but we didn't seem to care we continued singing along to dancing queen of the top of our lungs.
"What are you guys watching" Mauricio asked as he walked into the living room and gave my mum a kiss.
I just scrunched my nose kinda disgusted but I didn't say anything.
"Any don't you have something you want to tell Mauricio" my mum said looking at me with the biggest smile ever
"I've agreed to take the internship at Tottenham FC" I said with a forced smile

"That's great" he said as a big smile came to his face
"Just because I'm doing it doesn't mean I'll enjoy it" I said crossing my arms over my chest
The fact that I would have to be working at Tottenham FC wearing the official clothes made my skin crawl. I wonder how my dad would feel about it, I don't think he'd like it that much.
"Well I'm gonna go to bed" I said getting up from the couch
"Stay finish the movie with us" my mum said as she was all snuggled up next to Mauricio
"I'm really tired" I lied not wanting to be the third wheel.
We all said our byes and good nights as I headed upstairs towards my bedroom.
As I entered my bedroom I saw my suitcases on the floor, I had been back from my year abroad trip for about a week and I had yet to unpack.
I guess I could start on some of this now I thought to myself as I put one of the suitcases on my bed and opened it up.
"Hey watcha ya doing" I heard my little brother James ask as he walked into my room
"Hey when did you get back?" I asked as I gave him a big hug.
Being away from James for a whole year may of been one of the toughest things I had to do. The little guy is my best friend.
"I got back while you were out with friends and as soon as you got home you and mum were arguing over the internship" he said as he sat down on my bed
"Yea that whole fiasco, how long has she been working on that one?" I asked
"Since you left pretty much" he said with a chuckle
"How have you been?" I asked as I started to put away some clothes
"I've been great, I was just in Ibiza with my friends and it was so much fun and we're going to Ayia Napa because some of the guys couldn't follow to Ibiza" he said
"You seem to be living your best life, mom like barely allowed me to go to Tescos alone when I was 16" I said
"Well Mauricio helped convince mum to let me go and im turning 17 in 3 weeks" he said
"Yea Yea whatever, but he didn't seem to help me much when I was your age" I said

"Because you hated him and he knew that, so he knew trying to help you out would just piss you off" he said
"I guess that is true" i said
"But I never hated him" I said sitting down on the bed
"It felt like that" he said
"What do you mean?" I asked
"Well there were times where I thought mum was going to have to break up with him just so she wouldn't lose you" he said
"What? I didn't know that" I said feeling guilty
I never wanted her to have to feel like she needed to choose between her kids and the man she's in love with.
"I should be more nice to him" I said looking at James
"Yea you should" he said in a sassy voice
"Excuse me don't be sassy to me, get out of my room" I said pushing him a bit
He just laughed and got up to leave my room as he stood at the doorway he turned around and said
"It's nice having you back, I missed you"
"I've missed you too" I said while smiling at him
"Wow this is getting to sappy for me" he said
"Yea same get out of my room you loser" I said
"Shut up you nerd" he said right before leaving my room.
I finished unpacking one of my suitcases not bothered to unpack the other one. I removed my makeup before taking a quick shower. By the time i was done the whole house was silent, guessing everyone was asleep. I changed into my pyjamas and got into bed, I put on the show how to get away with murder, on my tv and spent the rest of my night watching that.
It was my first day back off of holiday and I was extremely exited for the new season to start again. We were currently at breakfast and I wasn't really listening to what the guys were saying. I wasn't the biggest morning person and the guys knew that I wasn't one to speak in the mornings. As much as I was looking forward for the new season I wasn't looking forward the next couple of days of medical/fitness tests, the intense workouts or the extremely healthy eating. But it's mostly the first 2 weeks that are the hardest to get trough but after the first 2 weeks I think most people just get use to it, I usually do.
I was brought out of my thoughts by Mauricio, i looked up from my plate to see him standing further down form my table ready to announce something.
"So I have an announcement to make, nothing serious or anything like that" he started off by saying
"We're going to be having a new intern who going to start working here and Tottenham FC, she'll be starting on Monday, she'll be helping around with the stuff that needs to be getting done" he said
Is that it? I thought to myself I thought he was announcing maybe someone leaving or a new transfer.
"Is that all?" Harry winks asked
"No this new intern is special, she is my stepdaughter, we don't have the best relationship and I want her to feel as welcome as possible, she might not want to talk or any of that, but if you could just be kind to her and I know she'll be nice and respecting towards all of you" he said
We all nodded and said yes boss, obviously we'd do our best to make her feel welcome.
"Did any of you guys know he had a stepdaughter" son asked us
"No I had no clue, we've met James a bunch of times but never mentioned a daughter" Harry winks said
"Well He did say they didn't have a great relationship" Eric said
"You guys recon she's older or younger then James?" I asked
"What you already tying to get with her?" Harry teased
"No it was just a question" I said annoyed
"I think she's older then James, she has to be, when James was here 2 weeks ago he said there was only like a month left until school starts and if she was younger that would make her around 14-15 and what kid that age wants to be doing an internship the last weeks of summer, so she's probably like graduated and is taking a year of uni" Eric said
"Well don't you have this all figured out" I said kinda shocked at how he'd analysed the whole situation
"Also I've seen the family photos in Mauricio's office, you can clearly tell she's older then James" he said while laughing
We all just started laughing at how Eric had us all fooled.

The Silver Mana - Book 1: Initiate
I used to be a healthy, young guy with a normal life - I had a career planned in professional soccer, a girlfriend, lots of hobbies, and loads of fun. Until the accident. Which changed my life. A few years later I had adjusted to my new reality, adjusted to being in a wheelchair, adjusted to having someone take care of me 24/7. And then the world changed. Old people and kids did not make it. And neither was I supposed to make it. But never count me out. If anything, I am tenacious. This new world was different. People could do magic. And there were monsters. And what about me? I had mana as well, silver mana. Which no one else seemed to have. The only problem was, I did not know what to do with it. Until I really needed to. Author's note: This is the rewrite of Silver Mana. The first bunch of chapters (until I will have caught up to level 2 of the dungeon) should be quite familiar to people that have read the original. There are some changes in content, but the story follows the original fairly closely for at least the first 150-200 pages. Most of the changes are in the writing, and some of the details of how things work. A few of the side characters get a bit more attention too. Some general comments to avoid disappointment: 1. The MC likes to swear. If you object to reading the word "fuck" at least once and usually multiple times each chapter don't read the book. "Fuck" is such a great, allencompassing word... fuck that; what the fuck?; fuck me! Fuck! one word, expressing so many nuances. And, frankly, the people I know that use fuck as a swear word.. they often use it a lot. 2. If you are looking for immediate progression, rapid advancement of the story, etc.... read another book. This one takes a bit. 3. I am NOT Pirateaba (who is writing The Wandering Inn) or anyone close to that level of productivity. If you expect to read 10k words every 3 days, or even just once a week... sorry. I've got a busy life. This is for fun, I have no patreon, paypal, anything, so I write when it is fun and however much is fun. Not more. And sometimes that turns out to be a decent amount, sometimes nothing. I have another book (Marrow) so that complicated things - basically I switch between the two whenever the muse strikes me.

Am I The Only One Who Is Not Forced to Migrate Across Worlds....?
A random isekai adventure might not be random. Underlying conspiracies, not-so-kind world and most importantly two-faced characters. Only time can reveal the flaws of the so-called Migrators! *** I am rewriting the novel. All this time, I have honing my skills as a writer. As my first novel, this novel served as a self-reflection of how much I improved later on. This doesn't have the most unique of plots but as a first novel, I still have some aspirations and memories.

Red Street Daybreak
August Samuel Hatch was born under an inauspicious pattern of stars. It's granted him what is widely considered the most unlucky of inconveniences: becoming host to a powerful but pernicious spirit that will act as his guide and protector--and one day end his life. Sairne is sworn to stand by August's side and, when the fancy strikes her, advise him, all in the service of atoning for a past life she can’t remember having committed a grave enough offense to earn her soul indentureship in the mortal realm. Bound by a celestial contract neither one can negotiate, their fates are all they've ever known. But in a city ruled by religious right and where magic runs deep as bedrock, their search for a missing friend leads them to a dark conspiracy that could transmute the very magic that binds them to their fates, and that might grant them the ultimate choice: do they save the city or save themselves? Cross-posted on Wattpad and Ao3. For fans of fantasy YA story beats if they starred adults instead, 1920s inspired setting, lots of banter, larger cast of characters, somewhat soft magic system. Completed, but being actively edited prior to posting! I'm the only captain on this ship, so mind any errors.
