I was the only one left at Eric's house, it was 3 AM so I wasn't that surprised. Me and Eric were still on the couch in his game room talking. It was so nice to just talk to him, he was really a great guy and he made my heart flutter and made me smile. We were talking about sports when there was a knock on the door. I my heart started to beat faster why would someone be coming at this hour. Please don't tell me he had a girlfriend or someone who he was hooking up with.

He got up to open the door and I followed him just because I was curious at who would be knocking on his door in the middle of the night. After getting to the door, it was a women not any women it was ruby, deles girlfriend.

"Hey I'm sorry to bother you" she said to Eric while looking at me.

"It's just me and Dele had a fight before he came here for your guys night or whatever, he was suppose to come to my house, he hasn't and I'm worried, his car is not here, do you know where he is?" She asked

"He probably just went home ruby" Eric said

"If this was a guys night then why is there a girl here?" she asked getting angry

"It was a last minuet thing" Eric said

"Was that slut Amelia here?" She asked with gritted teeth

"Call her a slut one more time and you will regret it" I said getting angry

Eric put his arm around my waist to try to calm me down I guess but it wasn't working.

"And who are you?" She asked me

"Okay ruby Dele probably just went home he's probably still annoyed about the fight and try calling him tomorrow" Eric said to her

"Whatever" She said before turning around to leave

After closing the door Eric turned to face me and he had a small smile on his face.

"I should get going" I said looking down at my feet

I knew I couldn't drive I was too tired and It would just be stupid and dangerous.

"I'm gonna call I cab" I said to him

"I could drive you" he offered

I sort of weighed my options but after deciding to let him drive me home, I went to the game room to get my stuff.

We drove in silence to my apartment I think we were just so tired. After we arrived I felt kinda mean not invite him in for like a coffee, he did have a 40 minuet drive back home. He took me up on my offer and I lead him upstairs to my apartment.

After opening the door we were surprised to see Dele and Amelia asleep on the couch, Deles arms wrapped around her. I was so confused.

"I guess we now know where Dele is" Eric whispered to me and I just nodded.

"Rain check on that coffee?" He asked

"Yes" I said to him.

After giving him a hug he left to go back home. I was too tired for this I just took a blanket and put it over them.

I went to my room and changed into something more comfortable before going to sleep.

"Amelia wake up" I heard someone say. I opened my eyes and was so confused I could feel someone's arms around me. What the fuck was going on right now?

I was sleeping on the couch with Dele, all cuddled up to him. I quickly got out of his arms and sat up which resulted in Dele waking up.

"What the fuck?" He asked looking around. Our legs were still sort of Intwined with each other's. I got off the couch completely just as confused as Dele, I don't even remember last night. We were talking and then all of a sudden im being woken up by Zo.

"Any one want breakfast?" Zoe asked

"No thanks, I should get going" Dele said awkwardly as he got off the couch

He scrambled to get his stuff and said a quick bye before leaving.

"What happened last night? Me and Eric come here to find you guys cuddling on my couch" Zoe said

"You and Eric?" I asked

"Don't you dare try to change the subject" she said

"I honest to god don't even remember what happened, I remember inviting him up for tea and then we were talking and I don't even remember falling asleep" I explained to her

"So nothing happened?" She asked

"Yes nothing happened" I said "he's a spurs player for crying out loud" I added

"Okay well his girlfriend came looking for him last night" Zo said

"Oh really what happened?" I asked

"She said her and Dele has gotten into an argument and then he went to Eric and he was suppose to go over to hers after but never did and I felt kinda bad for her up until she called you a slut" She said

"She called me a What?" I asked with a chuckle

"She said to Eric was that slut Amelia here and I was so ready to fight her" Zoe said

"Glad you didn't you'd probably deflate her fake boobs" I joked

"So very true tho" Zoe said

"So you and Eric" I trailed off

"What about it?" She asked

"Do you like him or?"

"I do his nice and all but he's way out on my league" she said

"You guys look so cute together and don't ever put yourself down like that again, know your worth"

"Like I was at his house until 3 AM he didn't make a move, he didn't like ask me out, he didn't even ask for my number or anything maybe he's not into me" she said

"Trust Z he's into you, I should give him your number tomorrow" I said

"You're not doing that" she said

"Sure honey" I said

"Can you drive me home?" I asked

"I don't have my car" she said

"What does that even mean?" I asked confused

"I was too tired to drive last night so being a responsible adult I let Eric drive me home" Zoe explained

"Oh I guess I should get an Uber then" I said getting my phone off of the table.

After arriving home I went to my room and changed directly into some comfy clothes.

I arrived to training on Monday morning hoping Eric or anyone else wouldn't say anything. He had sent a picture of me and Amelia on the couch, I have no idea when he had taken it. Maybe Zoe had sent it to him. But either way I knew when Amelia found about all of this she would be pissed. I was getting her to finally trust me a bit and now Eric knew. Since arriving I had been getting comments about 'getting with the bosses daughter' which wasn't true at all. I knew Eric didn't mean no harm if it was him I'd probably do the same, but I knew Amelia wouldn't like it at all. I felt like I had just earned her trust for her to open up to me and now she was not going to trust me at all.

I sat down at breakfast next to the rest of the guys, I didn't say anything as the all just stared at me waiting for some sort of explanation.

"So?" Kane asked

"So?" I said back to him.

"Hello" Amelia said as she sat down at the table perkier then usual and she had a big smile on her face.

"You Mr. Eric Dier have to give me your phone" she said

Did she know? How? Was she going to delete the pictures he took?

"Why?" Eric asked

"So I can put in Zoe's number because you didn't ask for it" she said

"Oh okay" he said unlocking and handing over his phone.

"She told me not to do this because she thinks you're not interested so if you are you better text her soon" she said to him

"I will do so" he said

"Why are you guys all looking at me like that?" She asked turning to the rest of us.

"It seems like everyone had been starring at me today" she added

"You don't know about the photo?" Kane asked

"What photo?" She asked with panic written over her face

"The one of you and Dele sleeping on a sofa" Son said and I couldn't help but put my head in my hands

"Where did it come from?" She asked clearly upset

"I took it" Eric confessed

"Who knows about it?" She asked

"All the guys" Eric said

"Does Mauricio know?"

"No" Christian said

"Let's keep it that way" she said

I looked up to her and I could see how upset she was about this.

"I actually should get going, I have some stuff to get done" she said while looking at the time on her phone.

"You haven't even ate anything" I said to her finally speaking up

"Well I'm not that hungry anymore" she said in sort of a harsh tone before getting up to leave.

"Come on babes, you can't be angry about that" Winks yelled to her as she was walking away, which just brought more attention to her.

"Just leave her be" I said

"If she's not gonna tell us what happened maybe you'd like to?" Son asked

"Nothing happened we talked we fell asleep, you guys are acting like we've slept together" I said getting annoyed

"Why are you getting your panties in a twist?" Kane asked

"It's just frustrating I wanted her to trust me and like me and I feel like this has sort of ruined that" I said

"Why wouldn't she not trust you you're not the one who sent the picture" Eric said

"I don't know I just really want her to like me" I said

I didn't quite understand why I wanted her to like me, it didn't make sense but I needed her to like me.

"Why are you so desperate to get her to like you?" Kane asked

"I don't know"

"Wait do you, do you like her?" Eric asked with a smirk.

Did I like her? No I couldn't, right? I have a girlfriend, who's great, I couldn't be liking someone else, right?

"I don't like Amelia like that and I have a girlfriend" I said to them

"Okay let's say ruby wasn't in the picture" Christian said

"It still doesn't matter, Mauricio would have me by my throat, she doesn't like me like that and she has said she'd never date a spurs player" I said to them

I saw the looks they were giving each other and I knew what they were doing.

"Let us take care of it" Winks said

"No I'm not doing that I don't trust you guys" I said

"We've got this" Eric said

"No you don't, I don't want anything to do with this okay?" I told them.

After leaving the dinning hall I went to one of the supply closets where I knew it was empty and I could be left alone. I just didn't want to be talking to anyone right now. Yes I was fully aware that I would probably look like a weirdo to anyone who entered this room, but i was taking the risk. After breakfast I didn't really have much to do so I don't think I'd be that missed. I didn't want everyone going around thinking I had slept with Dele or anything had happened between us. I understood that in the picture it might of looked a bit sketchy, but we were laying on a couch fully clothed. I just tried to forget about this as I was on my phone. I had been in the closet for about an hour I would say, I could hear someone on the other side. Soon the door started opening and whoever it was looking for the light switch and I wasn't quite sure what to do. After the person found the light switch they let out a small scream when they saw me. I finally opened my eyes to see Dele standing above me.

"Why didn't you say anything?" He asked angrily

"I don't know I got scared"

"Why are you sitting in a supplies closet in the dark?" He asked

"Because I wanted to be alone" I said

"There are far more better places to be then here" he said

"Well this is my hide out that has now been compromised" I said getting up for from the floor

"I need to talk to you, could you wait here as I take some stuff out?" He asked

"Sure" I said

He grabbed a couple of things from the shelves before sprinting out. I just awkwardly stood in the supplies closet looking around at what was in here and before I knew it Dele was back and he closed the door after him.

"I just wanted to start off by saying I'm sorry about Eric and the rest of the guys in general, i completely understand if you are angry you have every right to be" he said

"You didn't send the picture" I said

"I know but i didn't but I still can't help but feel guilty it was my best friend who did it and he's now the reason to why you're hiding in a closet" he said

"Well that is true, but I can't blame you for what Eric did" I said

"I hope you know that he didn't mean no harm, he just wanted to mess about"

"I know it's just frustrating because I don't like all the looks and starring, and people assuming stuff" I said

"Well we both know the truth and that is the important thing right" he said

"Yea" I said as I looked up at him.

I hadn't noticed until now how close we were standing to each other, I hadn't noticed how much taller then me he was. I hadn't noticed the little birth mark under his right eye or how brown his eyes were. I didn't know why or how long we stood there just looking at each other. I could feel deles hands on my waist and pull me closer to him, I didn't know what was happening but I put my hands on his shoulders. I could see his eyes trail down to my lips and he started to lean in. Soon I could feel his warm breath on my face before he closed the gap. I could feel his soft lips on mine and I was surprised for a second before I started kissing him back. I wrapped my arms around his neck and I put one of my hands in his hair. I liked the feeling of his lips on mine, it made me feel this warm feeling in my stomach, It felt like I had butterflies in my stomach. We heard the closet door open and we practically flew apart, Why was this closet getting so busy all of a sudden.

"Oh hi, I didn't know you guys were busy I was sent here to get so- you know what never mind I'll look somewhere else" Tripier said before walking out.

Why was this happening I just wanted to disappear from this situation.

"You stay here" I said

I walked out after him and stopped him before he could get away.

"Could you maybe not tell anyone what you saw in there?" I asked

"Yes of course, it's none of my business and I didn't see anything" he said

"Thank you so much" I said to him before returning to Dele.

"So I don't know what that stunt you pulled was, but it can't happen again" I said to him

"Excuse me you didn't seem to mind when your tongue was down my throat" he said back

"What? This can't happen again" I said to him

"At least we're on the same page on that" he said

"Oh my god you have a girlfriend" I said realising if this were to ever come out it would be the end of me.

"Oh my god ruby" he said as he put his head in his hands

"No one can find out, she already thinks I'm a slut and that was before, what happened in this closet stays in this closet" I said to him

"Wait ruby called you a slut, when?" He asked confused

"That's not the point Bamidele, just promise me you won't tell" I said

"I promise I won't tell" he said

"Thank you" I said as I let out a sigh

"I should get back" he said

"Yea"

As I was once again left in this supplies closet and I wanted nothing more then to be in my bed.

I went to Mauricio office to ask him if I could go home for the rest of the day. I was hoping he'd say yes because I had already ordered a Uber, I had been here for about 2 hours and the day was already shite.

"Hello, are you busy?" I asked walking in

"No, come in" he said

"I was wondering if I could go home, and you're probably think why you just got here, but I'm having a really bad day and I know everyone has bad days and you can't go home just because have a bad day, but could you maybe make a exception today, it's just not been a good day at all" I said explaining the situation

"Has anything specific happened?" He asked me

"No, You know how it is sometimes" I said

"Okay but only today and only for you I'm making a exception, so go home before I change my mind" he said

"Thank you so much, I'll be back tomorrow putting in double the work and effort" I said

And Mauricio just nodded as he sent me on my way. I went to the changing room and changed into my outfit I arrived in. After my Uber arrived I went straight to Zoe apartment and was hoping She didn't have classes.

When I entered her apartment she was on her couch eating cereal and watching TV.

"Please don't tell me it's already 4PM" she said as soon as she saw me

"It's not I'm having a bad day and I was allowed to leave" I said sitting down next to her

"Why are you having a bad day?"

"So first I find out Eric had sent a picture of me and Dele on your couch to all the guys" I said

"He did what? What a asshole i didn't even know he took a picture" she said

"Shut up you still like him" I said

"But moving on I was hiding in a supply closet and Dele found me in there and then we kissed and tripier walked in and it was a mess" I said

"Oh my fucking god, you guys kissed?" She asked getting all exited

"Zo you cant tell anyone, as soon as it was done I remembered his girlfriend then I had to ask tripier to not tell anyone and same with Dele. He's girlfriend would literally murder me" I said

"Yea she already hates you" Zoe said

"But How was the kiss? Was it good?" She asked

"That's not the point"

"Oh so you liked it, damn how does it feel you kissed a spurs player" she said

"I'm gonna have to disinfect my lips" I said

"But in all honesty, how did it feel?" She asked

"I don't know it felt weird cuz I got butterflies in my tummy and I felt all warm inside, it was weird" I said

"That's a good thing right?"

"No he has a girlfriend and I don't think he likes me and I'm not quite sure if I want to be beaten up by his girlfriend" I said

"If he kissed you then he must like you or feel something for you" she said

"We were in a small closet, standing really close to each other, have you done anything in moment but regretted it right after?"

"Yes"

"It was like that, after it was done he was like shit what about ruby" I said

"Shit he said that?"

"Yea and I'm ain't no side hoe" I said

"I thought you were my side hoe?" Zo said

"I thought I was your main hoe?" I said

"I'm joking you'll forever be my main hoe" She said

"Thank you" I said

"You have any classes today?" I asked

"No but I have to a lot revising to do today" she said

"Wow so you're just gonna leave me like that?" I asked

"Oh shut up, I'm just gonna be in my room" she said as she got up

"Fine I'll be out here watching tv" I said crossing my arms over my chest

"We can go get food later if you stop acting like a child" she said

"Fine" I said

As Zoe went off to revise I couldn't help but start thinking does Dele like me? No he couldn't, he has an extremely beautiful girlfriend. What would he want from me?
