It was the first day back from the international break and I was so nervous about seeing Dele let alone talking to him. He hadn't said anything about what I had said to him. Did that mean he chose ruby?

That would be so embarrassing, I'd have to hide out for the rest of my life. I had put myself out there and it would hurt so bad to get rejected.

I was currently driving James to school and we both weren't morning people so we just had music on and it was silent.

"What's wrong with you?" James asked from nowhere

"What?"

"I can sense your anxiety and bad energy" he said

"What are you on about?"

"You're biting the skin on your lips and you only do that when you're anxious so what's wrong?" He asked

I immediately stopped biting my lip which I hadn't even noticed I was doing.

"I did something" I said

"When you were away in Paris?" He asked confused

"No before that and I'm scared it's gonna come back and all blow up in my face" I said

"Wait bitch you need to give me more then that, what did you do?" He asked starting to get concerned

"It's nothing bad, well depending on how you see it, but basically back in August I kissed Dele" I said

"You did what?"

"Then his girlfriend found out in some complicated way and she threatened me and was like stay the fuck away from Dele and I did until before the international break and Dele was like oh I like you and then I was like I'm not gonna be a side hoe so you either leave ruby or you don't and I haven't heard back from him since" I said

"So you think he's staying ruby?" He asked

"Yea and I feel so stupid for even for a second believing he'd choose me" I said

"So you kissed Dele I really thought you had it going on with Harry" James said

"So you took that out of this whole conversation" I said to him

"No, just wait a couple of more days" he said

"He is gonna reject me or already has pretty much" I said

"It's an L, sis just take your L while you still have you dignity and just forget about Dele and stay away from his girlfriend" he said

"It's a fucking L isn't it" I said

"It is but you haven't lost your dignity yet when he does say that he's gonna stay with ruby don't cry or do any of that just be like ok cool" he said

"Thank you for making me feel better" i said sarcastically

"Always here for you sis" he said while laughing

"You and Dele?" He asked looking at me "really?"

"I know I didn't expect it either, I didn't expect that's I'd like any of the players but I don't know there's just something about Dele" I said

"What about the whole winks thing?"

"There was nothing ever between me and winks"

"I'm so confused" James said

"I'll have to explain everything in detail sometime" I said as I pulled into the school parking lot

"Yea cuz I'm lost" he said

"We should like have a girls night you and me" I said

"We're not calling its a girls night tho" he said

"What ever it's just been a while since we've hung out" I said

"I know" he said

After dropping James off at school I started driving towards the training ground. I was getting more and more anxious by every minute that passed. I couldn't help but think about what James had to say, why was he so sure that Dele was gonna stay with ruby?

Well I was saying that Deles chosen ruby but you don't want to hear that coming from someone else.

After parking my car and arriving at the training grounds it felt like my heart was beating out of my chest.

I got out of my car and entered the building, I went straight to the dressing room to change.

After doing so I started on the laundry and I had calmed down a bit. Why was I so nervous? I already knew what was gonna happen.

After arriving to the dinning hall I got my food and As I was looking around for somewhere to sit I felt someone put their arm around me.

"You my friend are gonna be sitting with us" Harry said as he started leading me towards their table

"Get your arm off of me" I said

"Come on babes don't be like that" he said

"Are we really back to that?" I asked

"You have to admit it you've missed me" he said

"No I really haven't and people still believe we're dating so I need you to get your hands off of me" I said

"How's the whole Dele thing, with ruby and all" he asked as he removed his hand from my shoulder

I had told Harry about the ruby thing back in August and he constantly asked about it, but at the same time it was nice having someone to talk to about it all.

"It's okay I guess, can we not talk about it?"

"Fine, How have you been?" He asked as he sat down

"I'm good" I said as I also sat down

I quickly glanced over to Dele and he just gave me a small smile

"What did you do during international break?" Kane asked me

"I was in Paris meeting up with some friends" I said

"Yea you lived there right" Dele said

"Yes for a year, it was nice seeing my friends again" I said

"Zoe joined you right" Eric said

"Yea she came the last 3 days" I said

Eric just nodded not looking up from his plate.

"How are things going between you?" I asked

"He's to scared to talk about sex with her" winks said and all the guys started laughing and I couldn't help but let out a small laugh

"That's not true" Eric said

"It kinda is" Son said

"There's nothing to be scared about just be open and honest with her and she'll understand" I said

"Can we change the subject?" Eric asked

"Okay, Amelia I hate to be the one to say it but you're sitting with us, you haven't really talked or sat with us the past 4 months, what's changed?" Kane said

"I wasn't going to sit here, not to sound harsh but winks dragged me over here" I said

"That didn't hurt at all" Christian said

"No it's nothing to do with you guys it's just complicated" I said

"Is it Mauricio? Doesn't he want you two hanging out" Kane asked pointing towards me and winks

"It's got nothing to do with Mauricio and there's absolutely nothing going on between me and winks so it's time to get over that" I said

"Oh harsh" winks said

"You know what I mean" I said

"Yea I know" he said

"She just dissed you" Eric said

"None of you understand what me and Amelia have going on, I know everything and it's complicated but give my girl a break" Harry said

"He knows? You told Winks?" Dele asked

"Wait you've told him?" Winks asked

"It's about me so obviously she's told me, when did she tell you?" Dele asked confused

"August" winks trailed

"So he's known since August but you couldn't tell me" Dele asked

"Why does everyone seem to know?" Kane asked

"I don't know" Son said

"Me neither" Christian said

"Do you know what's going on?" Kane asked Eric and Eric just nodded.

"It doesn't matter who knows and who doesn't know, it's really none of anyone's business" I said as I got up to leave

As I exited the dinning hall and entered the hallway I felt someone grab my hand and turn me around.

"We need to talk" Dele said

"About?" I asked

"You know what about" he said

"I'll text you my address just come by later and we can talk" he said

"Okay" I said.

He then just left back to the dinning hall and I could tell he was angry.

I guess he was angry over the fact I had told someone else what was going before I had told him.

I guess I understood but at the same time I hadn't even told Zoe about it, I told her the same day as Dele and I did get a yelling from her.

I was so nervous and anxious. What was he going to say? Was he inviting me all the way over to reject me?

I had just arrived at Zoe's apartment and Dele had texted me to come around at 6 and I was panicking. I entered Zoe apartment and saw she wasn't in her living room so I went straight towards her bedroom. I opened the door to see Zoe and Eric on the bed making out both shirt less. After Zoe heard the door opening she got off of Eric.

"Are you guys about to have sex" I asked as they both looked over to me

"No" Zoe said and Eric just sighed

"What's wrong?" Zoe asked

"Dele asked me to come over to his house, at 6" I said

"What, for what?" She asked as she covered herself up with the cover

"I have no idea, like you know what I said to him, do you know?" I asked looking over at Eric

"Yea Dele told me while we were on break, the whole ruby thing and if he chooses her he should stay away from you and want ever" Eric said

"I didn't know guys talked about that kind of stuff" Zoe said

"Do you know what he decided?" I asked

"No I just know he was confused"

"But like when I first said it to him he said he had already made his mind up, so how is he confused if he already knew what he was going to decide" I said as I sat down on the bed

"I think a lot has changed since then, like he had time to properly think it Out" he said

"That doesn't sound good" I said

"It's gonna be okay" Zoe said to me

"What if I cry when he rejects me" I said

"He's not gonna do that" Zoe said

"How do you know?" I asked

"Okay but if he does he's absolute trash and doesn't deserve a girl like you" she said

"Excuse me that's my best friend you're calling trash" Eric said

"And she's my best friend and I'm always gonna back her" Zoe said to Eric

"I didn't tell you not to back her just maybe don't call my best friend trash" he said

"Could you guys just focus on my crisis" I asked

"Isn't this a bit weird?" Eric asked

"What is?" I asked

"Me and Zoe are half naked and you're just in bed with us as if it's nothing" he said

"Yep that is weird" I said getting off the bed

"It's almost five and you're gonna be stuck in traffic for hours if you don't start leaving now" Eric said

"Okay you just want me to leave and I am, just pray that I won't cry" I said

"text me or call me as soon you leave his house" Zoe said

"Yes I will"

After saying bye to the both of them I left Zoe's apartment and after getting into my car I took a couple of deep breaths. I still couldn't understand why I was so nervous I knew what would be happening.

I put on some music and tried to distract myself. I was in the car for a really long time, the traffic was really bad but I didn't mind because that meant it would take longer for me to arrive to Deles house.

It said on my gps that I was 3 minutes away from my destination and my heart started to beat so fast. I continued taking deep breaths as I pulled up to his house. It was really beautiful and massive, it was the picture perfect house. I don't know how long I sat in my car trying calm myself down but when I got out the time was around 6:23PM. I went up to the door and rung the doorbell. I could feel how sweaty my palms were and I cast my heart was racing.

When Dele opened the door there was a smile on his face and it was calming for some reason.

"Sorry for being late the traffic was really bad" I said

"No it's okay, come in" he said

After entering he lead me to the living room and we sat down on the couch.

"So" I trailed of

"So....where do I even start?" He asked

"I don't know, from the beginning?"

"Yea I guess that's the smartest thing to do" he joked

"So when you first said the whole you or ruby thing, I told you I had already made my mind up" he said

"Yea I know that, so have you change your mind or is it still the same?" I asked

"It's changed, you have to understand that I'm not a person that likes to take risks and in the beginning the obvious choice was ruby because I've been with her for a long time and she's not a risk, but that wouldn't be fair because I'm not in love with her, being with her was comfortable and I don't want that, I want to take a risk and I want to be with you" he said

"You were gonna choose Ruby at first?" I asked

"Yea but it wouldn't be for the right reasons"

"You seemed so sure last week when we talked about this, and I don't know you seemed really sure that your mind was made up and you being so sure you were going to choose Ruby just makes me have a bit of doubt" I said

I knew it had to do with my trust issues and maybe I had a reason to feel this way.

"I don't want to be with ruby, I want to be with you, I told ruby last night and I broke up with her and that's because I want to be with you, I want to take you out on dates and I want make you smile and I want to spoil you and I want make you happy, I want to see you laugh and I want to kiss you without having to feel guilty" he said

Why was he so cute? I wanted to do all those things for him too. He brought a smile to my face and he looked confused but also started smiling. I wrapped my arms around him and he hugged me tightly.

After breaking our hug I couldn't help but smile at Dele.

"Why did you get angry today when you found out about that I had told Harry?" I asked

"I don't know, it was just i didn't understand why you'd tell him something that didn't really anything to do with him, I did over react a bit tough" he said

"Harry's my friend and when I told him back in August he was the only one I could talk to about it, not even Zoe knew" i said

"I'm just glad you had someone to talk to about it" he said

"Who else knew?" He asked

"Aside from harry, Tripier knew, I told Zoe and Eric the same day I told you." I said

Dele just nodded without saying anything.

"How did ruby take it?" I asked looking down at my hands

"She wasn't happy at all but I don't think anyone would be happy if they'd got broken up with, don't worry tho I didn't mention you, she did ask if it was because of you" he said

"What did you tell her then?"

"I didn't want her coming after you so I told her it wasn't about you so you don't have to worry" he said

"I still don't think she's gonna take it easy on me" I said

"If she bothers you, tell me straight away okay?" He said

"I can take care of myself, if ruby does or says anything I can handle it" I said

"Just like you handled her threatening you?"

"I didn't stop talking to you because I was scared of her, she's your girlfriend and we did kiss you were in my room and what we did was wrong, obviously she could of done things differently and just told me to stay away, so I didn't do because I was scared, like there was a bit of fear not gonna lie but I just felt guilty" I said

"Yea there were a lot of things she could of done differently" he said

"Did you ever feel guilty about this whole situation?" I asked

"Yes I did all the time, from the moment I first saw you I felt guilty"

"From the moment you first saw me?" I asked confused

"I felt guilty because I had a girlfriend yet I was so attracted to you" he said

"You were attracted to me?"

"Why do say it like that? Yes I was" He said

"I don't know, Ruby is like 100 times more prettier than me" I said

"I don't think so"

"Why are you lying? You your self said and I quote 'she's got nothing on you'" I said

"I only said that to make Ruby feel more secure" he said and I just laughed and rolled my eyes.

"Come here" He said as he started to lean in for a kiss but I stopped him.

"You have to take me out on a date" I said with a smirk

"Okay, Amelia would you like to go to dinner with me on Saturday" he said with the cutest smile

"I think it would be better if we keep a low profile I don't think it would look that great if you broke up with your girlfriend and 3 days later you're on a date with another girl" I said

"That's true, okay how about I cook for you" he said

"We could oder in" I suggested

"So you don't trust my cooking?"

"Not really" I said and he just started laughing

"I should get going" I said looking at the clock

"Already?"

"Yea I have places to be" I said as I stood up

"Oh really? Where?"

"Places" I said as we walked towards the door

"I'll see you tomorrow" he said

"I'll see you tomorrow" I said as I gave him a hug.

After saying out byes I got into my car as started driving back home. What had just happened? He chose me? This had to be some kind of joke or prank right?

What if he and ruby have tag teamed and are just trying to ruin me? I still had my doubts, honestly who wouldn't. Why would he chose me? Out of everyone on this planet he chose me? What type of drugs is the man on?

After getting in my car and driving off I called Zoe to tell her.

"Hello" I said after she picked up

"Hi, How did it go? What happened? Can I put you on speaker Eric wants to hear too" Zoe said

"Yea sure Whatever" I said

"So what happened?" Zoe asked

"He broke up with Ruby?" I said and you could hear the confusion in my voice

"He did?" Zoe asked and I could hear the excitement in her voice

"There has to be more to it right?" I said

"He chose you?" Eric asked

"Okay I'm shocked too, but you don't got to say it like that"

"No I didn't mean anything bad I'm just surprised because I know Dele he doesn't like to take risks, things with ruby were familiar and comfortable, but he chose you and that means a lot" Eric said

"Dele said I was a risk too, I don't even know what that means" I said

"You could potentially break his heart, he likes you so much and it might now work out and he's guarded and you could break his heart, the reason to why his relationship with ruby was so comfortable is because she'd never leave him he has money and fame the 2 things she loves. And because you don't want him for his money or fame you can leave him whenever" Eric said explaining

"But like why? Why would he chose me?" I asked

"Come on Amelia, you're beautiful, smart, funny and a great person so why wouldn't any guy fall for you?"

"I was thinking him and ruby have tag teamed and are going to try to destroy me" I said

"That's not going to happen, Dele likes you" Eric said

"I have my doubts"

"Why" Zoe sighed

"I don't know" I said not wanting to really talk about it while Eric could hear.

"Amelia" Zoe said

"I'll call you later I'm pulling into the driveway now" I lied

"Okay I'll talk you later" she said

I said bye to them before hanging up and turning on the radio. It was a quick drive home and it wasn't too much traffic which I was happy about.

I entered the living room to see James playing FIFA, and I sat down next to him.

"Please don't tell me you cried in front of him" James said

"No I didn't" I said

"That's good"

"There was no reason to cry" I said

"You're taking this better then I thought"

"No seriously he broke up with Ruby" I said to James

"What? Your lying" he said

"No I'm I promise you, I was shocked too" I said

"He chose you?" He asked

"Yes"

"Why would he do that?"

"Exactly, I promise you they're plotting something against me" I said

"Who are they?" James asked

"Dele and Ruby, they've tag teamed" I said

"They're gonna take you out"

"I just don't know what to do" I said

"In all seriousness I think you should just be you and be calm Dele chose you for a reason, I think he likes you" he said

"You think so?"

"Yes"

"Could we keep this on the DL I don't need Mauricio finding out" I said

"Yea of course"

"Where is he and mum?" I asked

"In the TV room I think they're watching a movie" he said

"Let's go join them and have a family night" I said

As me and James were heading towards the tv room I still couldn't believe it.
