Today was match day i could sense how anxious the boys were, there was not a lot of talking amongst them. We were in the changing room and Mauricio had just been trough the tactics and all of that. You could feel it in the air how nervous they were. It was time to go out and before going to line up Dele gave me a hug.

"Hey baby, I know you're nervous but it's gonna go well I have a good feeling, good luck" I said as I hugged him tightly

"Thank you, I'll try my best" he said

"Good luck baby" I said as he placed a kiss on my forehead.

Soon Dele left to join the rest of the guys in the line up. I was on the bench with the rest of the team and Tottenham were 1-0 down. For some reason I didn't have a bad feeling because I had a feeling they'd come trough.

As the final whistle blew it was 1-1 and a draw meant that the boys were trough to the next round. As the whistle blew the guys started celebrating and cheering. I couldn't help but smile seeing them all so happy. I went out to the changing rooms and the boys had music blasting and they were all dancing around.

"You were right" Dele said as he came up to me

"You guys did the job, I'm happy for you, I know this champions league campaign didn't start off well but I know you could do it" I said

"Wow Amelia are you warming up to Tottenham?" He asked

"Don't push it" I said and he just laughed as he put his hands up in defence.

He started to pull me in for a hug but I stopped him and he gave me a confused look.

"Shower first" I said

"So you won't hug me if I'm sweaty?" He asked as he rolled his eyes

"Exactly" I said

"Well you won't get to hug me when I'm clean too" he said

"You're being childish" I said as I rolled my eyes

"You're being childish, if you're not gonna hug me now you can't hug me when I'm clean and fresh" he said crossing his arms over his chest

"Fine give me a hug" I said

"Nope too late" he said as he placed a kiss on my cheek before walking away.

I couldn't help but laugh at how silly he was. After the boys were all done showering, they joined me in on the buss that'd be taking us to the airport. I was sitting just scrolling trough my phone before someone sat down next to me. A smile came to my face as I saw Dele, he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me to his chest.

"I thought I wasn't getting a hug" I said I'm a teasing manner as I looked up to him

"Don't get too cocky" he said as he placed a kiss on my forehead.

I couldn't help smile as I snuggled up to his chest. I wanted to fall asleep in his arms, I felt so safe and secure in his arms.

"Wake me up when we get to the airport" I said as I closed my eyes

"Okay" Dele said as he ran his fingers trough my hair.

I opened my eyes and was some what confused I was sitting on the plane and I looked next to me to see Dele. I looked out the window and we seemed to be midair. I guess Dele decided to not wake me up and just carry me onto the plane.

"Del?" I asked as I snuggled into his chest

"Yea?" He asked stirring awake

"You didn't wake me up" I said

"You looked so peaceful when you were sleeping I didn't want to wake you up" he said as he wrapped his arms around me

"So you carried me up here?" I asked

"Well Mauricio thought it was a better idea if he did it because there was pictures being taken and all that" Dele said

"How could I of slept through all of that?" I asked confused

"You must of been really tired" he said

"Yea, is everything okay?" I asked dele

"Yes I'm just tired" he said placing a kiss on my forehead

"I'm sorry for waking you up" I said to him

"Don't say sorry, now that you're in my arms I can sleep better" he said

I just smiled as I snuggled up closer to his chest. I closed my eyes and tried to fall back asleep and I couldn't help but smile.

I jolted awake when I heard a voice over the intercom telling us to fasten our seatbelts. I was still in deles arms but he was wide awake and on his phone.

"You're awake" Dele said to me

"Are we stating the obvious?" I joked

"Someone's cocky today" he said with a smirk

"You like me because I'm cocky" I said back

"There's a lot of stuff I like about you and being cocky is only one of them, I like everything about you" he said as he gave me a kiss

"I like you Bamidele, I like you a lot" i said which brought a smile to his face

"What you love birds talking about?" Winks asked looking over at us

I just gave him a look and rolled my eyes at him.

"Oh so you two talking about your plans to join the mile high club" he then added

"Oh shut up now" Dele told him

"I was only joking, can't you take a joke?" He asked

"Stop being a dick" I said to Winks

He just laughed and looked away from us.

"When are we there?" I asked tired

"Soon, we're preparing for landing" he said

"Thank god, I cant wait to just lay down in my bed under all my blankets" I said

"Maybe you can come and lay in my bed under all my blankets" Dele said as he put a strand of hair behind my ear

"I like that option better" I said as I cupped his face and kissed him.

He put his hands in my hair and pulled me closer, I could feel him smiling into the kiss.

"You two get a room" Son said which made us pull apart.

I could feel my cheeks burning and I just buried my face in Deles neck, while he sort of laughed. Me and Dele held hands the whole time during landing. After landing and everyone getting our stuff. We were saying our good nights to everyone.

"You're not coming home?" Mauricio asked me

"No I'm sleeping, over at Zoe's" I said too scared to tell him the truth.

"You need a ride?" He asked

"No it's okay, I'm sharing a taxi with Dele" I said

"Okay darling, I'll see you tomorrow" he said giving me a hug

"I'll see you tomorrow" I said hugging him back

"So I guess I'm Zoe?" Dele asked as we walked away

"I'm sorry, I chickened out" I said as I locked our arms

"It's okay, I understand, I guess I'll be Zoe for the night"

"No I want you to be Dele, I can't kiss Zoe"

"Oh so you want to kiss me?" He asked with a smirk

"There's a lot of things I want to do with you Bamidele"

"Oh really? Would you like to tell me what those things are?" He asked

"No not really"

"I guess you won't get to kiss me"

"You know you can't resist me" I said

"And you're 100% right" he said as he kissed me

I couldn't help but laugh into the kiss and so did he.

"Let's go home" he said as he took my bag out of my hand

The taxi ride was mostly quite, we were both very exhausted and I was starving. There was no doubt that both Dele and the taxi driver could hear my stomach.

As soon as we entered the house both me and Dele put our bags next to the door and kicked our shoes off.

"Let's go to bed I'm so tired" I said grabbing his hand

"You're not going to bed"

"Why not?" I asked whining

"You're going to eat first" he said

"But I'm not hungry" I lied

"Ah really? Ames even the driver could hear your stomach" he said

I just sort of laughed.

"How about you go get changed and I'll cook us some food" Dele said

"Okay, I'll be down soon to help you" I said

Dele just nodded, as I walked upstairs to his room, I went over to his walk-in closet and looked around for what I could wear. As I was looking trough the draws I found female clothing, a lot of female clothing. This must be Ruby's, all of her clothes were still here. I felt bad for searching trough his things so I grabbed a white T-shirt and grey sweat shorts. I quickly changed out of what I was wearing and into deles clothes. I don't know why but I couldn't stop thinking about the clothes in his closet. If he was so done with her why did he still have her clothes? I'm over reacting aren't I? Yes I am.

I went back downstairs to Dele who was already cooking something.

"What you got cooking good looking?" I asked

"Well I'm making grilled cheese" he said

"As much as I appreciate you cooking, I'm gonna need more then grilled cheese, so how about I make some fruit salad or something like that" I said

"Yes that sounds great" he said

"Del?"

"Yes Ames"

"When I was looking trough your closet, I found what looked like Ruby's clothes" I said

"Okay?"

"No I was just wondering, usually when you break up with someone and you start seeing someone new you return or throw out their old stuff" I said as i fidgeted with my fingers

"I just haven't had the time, it's no big deal"

"Okay" I said

I didn't quite understand why he got so cold and hostile about it. I didn't really say anything but started to cut some apples.

Could you like call me in 15 minuets with some fake emergency?

Why? Where are you?

I'm at Deles house, it kinda got awkward, I'll explain later, just call me and then come and pick me up.

"Should we watch a movie or something while we eat?" Dele asked

"Yea sure" I said

We took our plates and went into the tv room, there was this very awkward tension in the air. That's why I asked Zo to save me from this.

"What do you want to watch?"

"It doesn't really matter, you choose" I said

"How about the spy next door?" He asked as he looked trough different movies

"Yea, I like that one" I said

"Me too" Dele said

We sat in silence watching the movie and eating our food. I didn't understand why he was acting so weird about it. I got a phone call and I was relieved about it, I knew it was Zoe.

"It's Zoe, I should take this" I said getting up and leaving the room

"Where are you?" I asked

"I'm like 10 minuets away" she said

"Okay just say something, so this call lasts a bit longer" I said

"What happened?" She asked

"He had some of Ruby's clothes in his closet and when I asked about it he got all weird and now it's all very awkward and I just don't know what to say or do or how to act" I said

"Okay I'll be there soon, just tell him something came up with me and you really need to go, just act normal until I get there" she said

"Okay I'll see you soon" I said before hanging up.

"Hey, that was Zoe" I said

"Is everything okay?" He asked

"I'm not sure Zoe is on her way here to pick me up , she seemed upset. I'm sorry" I said

"What happened? Is everything okay?" He asked worriedly.

I felt bad about lying to him about it all.

"How about we make the best of our last couple of minuets together" I said taking the plate off his lap and putting it in the table

"Oh what do you have in mind?" He asked

I straddled his lap and started to kiss him, he wrapped his arms around me and laid me down on the couch. I had my arms wrapped around his neck and my legs around his waist. I don't know how long exactly we were laying there on his couch, we pulled away when we heard a car beep.

"I'm guessing that's Zoe" Dele said as he put his face in the crook of my neck

"Yes I should get going before she gets inpatient" I said getting out from under Dele.

"I'm sorry about tonight, a do-over?" I asked

"Yes definitely" He said following me to the door.

I put on my shoes and took my bag, before leaving he gave me a kiss goodnight. I left deles house and went out to Zoe's car.

"Hey, Thank you so much" I said after entering her car

"It's okay, was he suspicious?" She asked

"No I don't think so, it just got so awkward so quickly" I said

"So He has his ex clothes in his closet" she said

"That's not the point when I asked about it he got so weird about it and it was just confusing so it got awkward" I said

"Can we go get food?" I asked changing the subject

"At this hour?" She asked

"Yes please I'm so hungry" I said

"Fine what do you want?"

"McDonalds" I said

"Let's go then" she said

We drove in silence to McDonald's and we ate in the parking lot. I was so exhausted all I wanted to do was go to bed, it's been a long day.

After arriving at Zoe's apartment, I went straight to bed.
