I had just arrived to the training ground and I just wanted to disappear. The last thing I wanted to do today was see Dele let alone speak to him. I got the laundry going and I put out everything that needed to be put out. Steve and the rest of the guys went off for breakfast but I decided to hang back. I made sure I ate a big breakfast before coming in today so I didn't have to have lunch here.

I was drinking my coffee and just scrolling through different apps on my phone, trying to entertain myself. I got startled when there was a knock on the door and I took a deep breath before telling the person to come in.

"Hey, it's me" winks said as he walked in

"Hey"

"I got you a fruit salad, I noticed you weren't in the dinning hall and Steve said you were in here" he said handing me a fruit salad

"Thank you, that was very thoughtful of you"

"You're welcome"

"Harry before you leave, did Dele say anything about me?" I asked

"Amelia" he said with a sigh

"Nobody seems to want to tell me what I did wrong and how am I suppose to fix it, If nobody tells me?" I asked frustrated

"Okay fine, so yesterday you had told him you couldn't hang out with him and he was okay with that. Then a couple hours later he's tagged in a picture multiple times and he goes in to look at it and it's pictures of you and Maitland-Niels. I don't even understand why you'd be hanging with him, but Dele got upset that you blew him off for Ainsley and that you lied about it"

"Are you fucking kidding me?" I asked while standing up

And winks just stared at me not knowing what to say.

"You have to be joking" I said looking at him

"Okay so I'm assuming there's been a misunderstanding" winks said

"No fucking shit, I ran into him outside the store and I was carrying a lot of bags and he offered me a ride and I said yes, honestly If Dele is this immature about it honestly I'm not sure it's gonna work"

"Okay wow lets just take a deep breath and just think about what we're saying"

"No but seriously, he's acting like I fucked the guy or something, he offered me a ride, he was being nice and he decides to act like this? Like a child" I said

"Do you want me to go get him so you guys can talk?" He asked

"If I'm being honest I don't want to see him now or any time soon" I said

"Thank you for bringing me the food, you don't have to stay" I said

"Are you sure?" He asked

"Yes" I said giving him a smile

After he left, I just sat there eating this fruit salad thinking about weather I should go home or not.

"So what are we whispering about?" Eric asked as he sat down with his food.

"Weather Mauricio is gonna notice that his step daughter is missing and ask her what's wrong and then end up killing dele for making her sad" Kane said and I just glared at him

"Erm okay.." was the only response Eric seemed to have

"Did she say anything last night?" I asked

"Not a lot she asked me about it and since I didn't not know there wasn't a lot I could say" he said "so now can I be informed to why you didn't want to see her?"

"Because she lied and she was with Ainsley yesterday" Son said

"But her and Zoe were hanging out yesterday, we were still asleep when she came over" Eric said

"No but I was tagged in a picture yesterday of them two getting in his car" I said showing him the picture

"Maybe it's an old picture" Kane said

"I guess a picture speaks louder than words" Eric said

"But like what would she be doing with him?" Son asked

"She supports Arsenal, obviously she'd rather be with him she's probably fan girling when they're fucking or some shit" Kane said

"Okay clam down now, don't talk about her like that" I said to him

"It was a joke" he said

"Still"

"I don't think there's anything going on, I think there's a logical explanation to this" Eric said

"Let's just wait for Winks" I said

"Where is he?" Eric asked

"He went to talk to Amelia" I said

"Why don't you talk to her?" Eric asked

"I'm too pissed to do that and I hope she notices" I said

"Trust me she has noticed, just go talk to her later on today" Eric said

I just nodded as I continued to eat my breakfast.

"Okay so I'm back, so I would advice against going and talking to her right now give her a couple hours" winks said as he sat down

"What? Why? What did she say?" I asked

"So I told her why you were angry because she wasn't telling me how she felt with out knowing and when I told her she wasn't having it she was angry, she said that she bumped into Ainsley there and he offered her a ride and she said yes, it was nothing more than that" he said

"I told you so, she wouldn't lie to you, you should of just talked to her" Eric said

"Shit I screwed this one up badly didn't I" I said feeling stupid

"If anything i think you're pushing her close to him now" winks said

"What? Why?"

"She was not happy, she was pissed off and she said something along the lines of you being immature and if you kept acting like this she didn't see it working out" winks said

"She shouldn't be one to speak, she reacts the exact same when it comes to Ruby" I said

"But Ruby is unpredictable and honestly If I saw you guys together I would be a bit worried too" winks said

"why is this being turned on me" I asked in frustration.

"If you would of just asked me or something yesterday then none of this would of happened" Eric said

"Well a bit too late now"

"Hello boys" we heard the very familiar voice say and we all knew it's Mauricio

We all just said our hellos and pleasantries as I tried to avoid all eye contact with him.

"Dele I was wondering if Amelia slept at your house last night, because me and her mom haven't heard from her" he said looking at me

"No she slept at Zoe's" Eric said

"And you know this how?"

"He's bitter that he got kicked out" Winks said

"Oh okay where is she now, did she come in today?" He asked looking at all of us

"Yes she was in the laundry room talking on the phone" I lied

"Oh okay if you see her just send her my way" he did before leaving our table

"Thank you guys for that one" I said

They all just nodded as we continued to eat.

"How are things between you and Zoe?" Kane asked Eric

"It going really well actually, things are slowly getting back to normal again, I think I'm gonna tell her" he said

"Tell her what?" Winks asked

"The big L word" Kane said

"Don't do it" winks said

"Why?" We all asked

"You said things are getting back to normal again why risk messing it up" he explained

"Sorry but I'm not gonna take advise from a single guy, sorry bro" Eric said and we all couldn't help but laugh

After we fished eating we went to the gym and we were jogging on the treadmill to warm up. I look up to see Amelia walk in and I couldn't even look at her, I felt so stupid.

Steve had told me Mauricio was looking for me so I headed over to the gym and while I was at it I was gonna tell him I was heading home. I just wanted to be in bed and sleeping while eating sweets. When I walked in I could see Dele but he didn't notice me so I walked straight up to Mauricio.

"Hey, heard you were looking for me" I said

"Yea I haven't seen you in a while and your mom and I were getting worried" he said

"Oh I slept at Zoe's house completely forgot to text you guys" I said

"It's okay, I was also wondering if you wanted to join in on yoga today, the boys are doing it and I know you use to do it before" he said

"Oh I'd love too but I have a really bad migraine and having my eyes open even hurt" I said

"How are you going to drive home? Do you need me to drive you?" He asked concerned

"No I think I can drive but if It gets bad I'll call an Uber or I'll call you" I said. I felt really guilty for lying but I really didn't want to be here right now.

"Okay, get better" he said giving me a hug

"Thank you, see you later" I said

"Wait aren't you going to say bye to your boyfriend over there" he said looking over at Dele

I looked back at him and he was looking at us but quickly looked away.

"No I don't want to disturb him or anything" I said

"Is everything okay between you two?"

"Yea it's fine" I reassured him

"I'm gonna go change now, I'll see you later tho" I said to him before leaving.

I left the gym and started walking towards the dressing room to get my stuff so I could leave.

"Amelia" I heard someone call out from behind me.

I took a deep breath before turning around.

"What?" I asked knowing it was Dele

"I'm sorry" he said

"Save it Dele" I said

"No come on just hear me out" he pleaded

"No i do not want to hear you out right now, You know what you could of done If you didn't want to speak to me last night you could of texted me like a grown ass person and said hey I'm not up for hanging out tonight, but you let me come all the way over to your house just to have your friends and brother humiliate me and make me feel like I did something wrong" I said

"I know I could of handled it way better" he said

"Yes you could of and I'm really not bothered to do this right now" I said to him

"Okay" he said before I turned around and walked off. I got my stuff and got in my car before driving over to Zoe's apartment. I was wishing she hadn't left for uni yet , when I walked in she was on her way out.

"What are you doing here?" She asked confused

"I wasn't up for it and Dele" I said

"Okay, I'm sorry I'm running really late, can we talk when i get back?" She asked

"Yes sure but I think I'm gonna go home, but I'll call you, have a good day" I said

"Okay don't forget to lock the door, thank you, have a good day too, I'll see you later" she said before running out the door

I was contemplating on weather I should leave and go home or just sleep here since I was already here. I decided to take a nap and then go home so I got changed into comfortable clothes before getting into Zoe's bed.

I woke up by the door opening and I sat up in shock, realizing that I was still in Zoe's bed. Zoe and Eric had just busted through the door only god knowing what there were planning on doing here.

"Hey, I thought you were going home" Zoe said

"I was but i took a nap and I guess I didn't wake up" I said

"Oh okay" Zoe awkwardly said

"I'm gonna get out of your hair" I said before standing up

"No you don't have to leave" Zoe said

"I feel like I'm interrupting something that was going on here, and I'm exhausted so I just want to sleep" I said, I felt so feverish and I probably was coming down with something

"Are you sick?" Eric asked me

"I don't know I'm probably coming down with something" I said

"You should continue you sleeping, we're gonna be in the living room" Zoe said

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, you just rest up" she said

I just nodded before laying back down in the bed.

"Hey Ames, it's just us now, are you sure everything is okay?" She asked getting into bed next to me

"Yea I just feel sick and stuff with dele and the reason to why he was angry was so stupid" I said

"Why was he angry?"

"He has seen a picture of me with Ainsley getting in his car so he assumed the worst and he was just really childish about it"

"Did he try to apologize or anything?"

"Yes but I wasn't having" I said

"You should talk to him, I know you like him and I don't think you would want this to ruin it" she said

"Whatever, why where you and Eric all over each other?"

"He said he loves me"

"What?" I asked sitting up

"Yes he asked me if he could pick me up after uni and then we got food and we were in the car eating and he just said it and I almost cried bitch"

"Did you say it back?"

"Yes and then we came here and I don't know if we were planning on taking the next step or what. But I do want to and I feel ready"

"Oh so I'm cock blocking you guys" I said

"No I'm glad you're here I want it to be more special" she said

"We have to get you ready for when it does happen, a shopping trip, mental preparations and so on" I said

"I promise you we'll do all that but right now you should rest while I go make you food" she said

"Thank you" I said before laying back down.

I was woken up by a knock on the door, I didn't know how long I was asleep this time.

"Yea?" I asked confused while sitting up

"Hey" I heard deles voice which made me look up

"Can you turn the lights on?" I asked still confused

Soon the lights turned on and it hurt my eyes so I was squinting trying to see if it really was Dele.

"What are you doing here?" I asked

"Zoe told me you were here"

"I'm not up to talking, I don't feel too good" I said to him

"Okay well then you can listen, I'm 100% aware that I messed up and I'm in the wrong here. I got jealous and insecure about the pictures of you and Ainsley. What I should of done is come and ask you about it" he said

"It just feels like you don't trust me Dele, I've told you multiple times that you're the guy I like and no one else" I said to him

"I do trust you and I don't know what took over me, I think it was insecurities and jealousy and it was not a good mix"

"I don't understand what you have to be insecure about when I've told you multiple times that you're the only guy I want to be with" I said

"You're way out of my league" he said

"Are you actually crazy it's obviously the other way around, you can get any girl you want Dele"

"But you're the only girl I want" he said

"And you are the only one I want to be with" I said

None of us really knew what to say so for a minute we just kinda stared at each other.

"I'm sorry Amelia, I should of come and talk to you" he said

"Yes you should of" I said

"How are you feeling? Zoe told me you felt sick"

"I feel feverish I'm probably coming down with a cold" I said

"Have you measured your temperature?" He asked

I just shook my head.

"Does Zoe have a thermometer?" He asked

"I don't know" I said

He left the room and I laid back down in bed wanting to sleep. Dele then came back with a thermometer and measured my temperature. I did in fact have a fever but it wasn't too bad, it was probably a cold coming on or something.

"Can I do anything or do you need anything?" Dele asked

"I'm just cold, get in and warm me" I said

"Are you sure?" He asked

And I just nodded.

I was still very tired still, I always slept for hours when sick.

"Or don't get in I'm gonna make you sick too" I said

"It's okay I don't care" he said still getting in bed with me.

He kissed me on the cheek before hugging me from behind and trying to keep me warm.

"Thank you" I said

"No need to say thank you" he said pulling me closer

"Amelia are you awake?" Zoe asked as she walked in

"Yea" I said

"Oh okay, I made you some food" she said

"Thank you, I'm gonna put it on the table, come out" she said and I just nodded

After she had left Eric walked in.

"I'm getting up" I said

"Well not to be rude or anything but maybe you could take the food to go" He whispered

"Why?" Dele asked

"Because he told Zoe he loves her and he thinks they're gonna do it now" I said to Dele

"It's her first time it should be more special then this" dele said

"You're right" Eric said as he started to think

"This most likely won't happen tonight, so tell your little friend down there to keep it together for a couple more days until you can make it special for her" I said

"Who said he's little" he said while winking

"Eww get out of here" I said

"Zoe is still waiting for you" he said before leaving the room

I just sighed before getting out of bed and walking out the room with dele behind me.

"How are you feeling?" Zoe asked

"I'm okay" I said as I sat down next to her on the couch.

"You guys should probably get going, you guys have a match tomorrow right?" Zoe said

"Are you trying to kick us out?" Dele asked

"No of course not, I'm just looking out for you guys, we don't want you guys to be tired tomorrow" she said

I was confused to why she was kicking them out but I just nodded in agreement.

"Erm Okay then we're gonna get going" Dele said

Dele came to me to give me a hug and kiss me.

"I'll see you tomorrow?" He asked

"Yea if I'm feeling better" I said

"I hope you get better" he said and gave me a peck

"Thank you" I said

The boys said their byes before leaving Zoe's apartment.

"So what was that about?" I asked

"I just felt claustrophobic, they were everywhere and Eric was just all over" she said

"I thought you said you were ready"

"I am but just not tonight" she said "whatever, what about you and dele?"

"I wasn't bothered to argue but I didn't want to just give in and forgive him but I was just so tired so I just didn't argue" I said

"When you're feeling better you should talk to him, and just tell him how you feel"

"I will" I said as I started to eat the dinner she had made me.
