I was sitting with dele and the rest of the boys at lunch. I was not saying much, I was sort of lost in my own thoughts. It had been almost 2 weeks since Zoe left and she was coming back today. I was so exited to see her, after work I was heading straight to her apartment.

"Amelia are you down?" Winks asked me which made me come back to earth

"Sorry I wasn't listening, down for what?" I asked

"We're watching a movie at my house later on, are you coming?"

"No I can't actually" I said not wanting to mention Zoe while Eric was here

"Come on don't be a bore" Kane said

"I'm not I just have plans" I said

"What plans?" Eriksen asked

"You know plans" I said

"Is Zoe back?" Eric asked while looking straight at me "is that why you don't want to say what your plans are?"

"I just don't feel like I need to tell you guys specially when it's none of anyone's business" I said annoyed

"So I'm assuming that Zoe's back" Eric said

"Yes she is" I said

"You can tell her she can come pick up her stuff or I could give them to you and you could pass them along, the less I have to see her the better" he said

"Alright guys can we drop the hostile energy?" Winks asked

"I'm not hostile, I accept the fact that I was broken up with and I just don't feel up to seeing her again and I feel like it's my right to do so. If I wanted to be hostile I would say something like I wish I never wasted my time on her, but I did and here we are" Eric said

"Okay how about we all take a deep breath" Dele said

"I think I'm done here" I said annoyed

"You can't be pissed at me, she's the one that broke up with me" he said

I didn't say anything before walking away. As I was walking towards the laundry room I heard footsteps behind me, I turned around to see Dele.

"I know Zoe is you best friend but Eric is hurting and he doesn't mean what he's saying"

"I didn't say anything, I know he's hurting, that's why I kept my mouth shut, but she's hurting too" I said

"She's not who you think she is" he said

"What does that mean?" I asked confused

"Amelia" he said just sighing

"Dele you have to tell me what you meant"

"Eric doesn't know this and since you haven't said anything, I'm assuming you don't know either" he said

"Know what?"

"Zoe and my brother Harry slept together, the day after her and Eric broke up and that's when she decided to go away"

"That's not true" I said

"Weather she tells you that's up to her, but I have to tell Eric" he said

"There's nothing to tell because it's not true. Also if it were true why are you telling me now?" I asked

"Because she's going to tell you and you're going to ask me about it and I didn't want to lie to you"

"So you not telling me is not lying to me?"

"Technically not because you didn't know about it and there was nothing to tell, it's something that happened between 2 consenting adults, end of"

"She was hurt and vulnerable and he manipulated her"

"Amelia you know that's not the case" he said "and up until two seconds ago you didn't even believe me" he said

"I have to go Dele"

"I just don't understand we always seem to fight about Zoe and Eric, why are we letting their relationship affect ours?"

"Zoe's my best friend she means the world to me, and I didn't say anything because I know Eric is hurting so I chose to walk away you're the one who started arguing about this" I said to him

"You constantly use the excuse that 'Zoe is my best friend', you're basically saying you would put her and her problems in front of our relationship"

"Dele I'm going to walk away now" I said looking him in the eyes.

I wasn't bothered to fight with him, I don't think he was even hearing what he was saying.

I took a deep breath before walking away, I got my phone and called Zoe.

"Hey Ames" she said

"Hey, I was wondering if you were home so I could come over now?" I asked

"Yea sure, I thought you had work tho"

"Yes I did, but I didn't have a lot to so I'm just gonna head out early" I said to her

"Okay, also I have a surprise when you get here" she said

"Okay, I'll see you soon" I said before hanging up.

What could the surprise be and how bad could it be. I highly doubt that she would say that she slept with deles brother she would of told me long time ago.

She would never, she was waiting so long with Eric and she wouldn't just sleep with Harry.

"Why are you standing in the middle of the hallway?" I heard winks ask from behind me

"If I ask you something, that's a hypothetical situation, you have to promise me not to tell"

"If it's hypothetical then does it really matter?" He asked

"Winks"

"Fine I'll keep my mouth shut" he said "I promise"

"Okay lets say there's a couple and one of them is a virgin and then with a few bumps in the road they finally get to a point where the one who is a virgin wants to take this step with their partner. Buy new they get there something else pops up and they end up breaking up. Then you hear something about said virgin losing her virginity to a guy they barely know. Do you think it's possible for them to take that step with someone else while making the other person who they love wait for months" I said "did that even make sense? I'm just asking your opinion, if this where to be real do you think she betrayed the guy she loved?" I asked

"This is obviously about Eric and Zoe, who did she sleep with?" He asked

"This is a hypothetical"

"Fine I don't think she betrayed him, he wanted to wait until she was ready and I don't know why they broke up, but all I know is that they were gonna take that step together and I just think she was just maybe heartbroken and this other person happened to be there and since she was ready maybe she thought what does it matter who I have sex with it didn't work out with the guy I love why wait even longer. I don't think she betrayed Eric in any way, I could see why he would be annoyed or even angry. But it's not betrayal" he said

"But what if it's with someone he knows"

"I guess that changes it, it depends on how close Eric is with this guy" he said

"Well good thing it's a hypothetical situation and this has never happened and you keep your mouth shut" I said

"Okay I promise" he said

"Amelia" he said as I was a about to walk away

"Yea?"

"What ever this thing between Zoe and Eric is, keep it out separated from you and deles relationship. They're your best friends, just keep stuff separate" he said

"I will do so" I said before walking away.

I got changed and drove over to Zoe's house still anxious about what the surprise could be. I tried to not get too ahead of myself. Maybe she got me a present and that was the surprise. I got to her apartment and walked in towards the living room.

"Close your eyes before you walk in" I heard Zoe yell out

"Okay"

I closed my eyes before walking into the living room and I was waiting for further instructions.

"Okay open" she said

In front of me was Mabel holding the cutest gray little puppy.

"Omg you got a puppy?" I asked as I walked over to them

"Yes isn't he adorable" she said

"Yes he is" I said as I started to pet him

Me and Zoe were playing with her dog and caring up for a while.

"Zo can I ask you a question?" I asked and she just nodded

"Did anything happen between you and Harry, Deles brother?"

"I was too embarrassed to say anything and I wanted to just go away for a bit and clear my head. Also I was afraid that i would be judged" she said not looking at me

"You know I would never judge you, no matter what"

"I know but I'm guessing dele told you because Harry told him and he's going to tell Eric and Eric is most definitely going to judge and never want anything to do with me again" she said breaking down

"But Zoe you broke up with him" I said

"Because I had no choice, Im in love with Eric and I was upset and Harry was there and in the moment it was exactly what I wanted but I regret it now" she said "I wasn't in the right headspace and if I had just taken a minute to think it trough I wouldn't of done it"

"It's okay you don't have to feel bad or guilty, you and Eric were broken up by then, you did something you wanted to do in the moment. If it felt right then, then you shouldn't regret it" I told her

"But I want to be with Eric and he's not going to want to be with me and that's why I regret it, because it makes my chances of ever having something with Eric basically none existent" she said

"Well you do not need him, and if you guys are meant to be you'll find your way back to each other and if it's not, you will find your soulmate" I said to her

"I just miss him so much, and I hate my family for taking that one piece of happiness away from me" she said

"What did they say?" I asked

"Even though they are horrible at times they're still my family, they're practically all of got and I love them. So my parents pretty much said it's us or him and it almost scares me how I didn't even hesitate. They're my family Amelia" she said breaking down in tears

"I understand baby, I do. I would do the exact same thing as you did, you did what you felt was right and no one can blame you for that" I said

"I guess so" she said

"Alright now the real question here is how was your first time" I asked trying to some what change the subject

I had arrived at Deles house, I had food with me and a bunch of snacks. All I wanted to do was be with him and not think about everything else.

I knocked on the door for it to be opened by Eric.

"Hi" I awkwardly said to him

"Hello" he said

"Is dele home?" I asked

"Yes he is, he's somewhere here" he said

"How's Zoe doing" he asked me

"She's doing okay, how are you" I asked

"Well how would you feel if your ex girlfriend who you're madly in love with slept with your best fiends brother?"

"Hmm Yea you know that, that right there is a good question" I said stuttering and stumbling over my own words

"What ever, tell Dele I said bye" he said before leaving

"Hey, when did you get here" Dele asked as he was walking down the stairs

"Just now, Eric told me to tell you he left and said bye" I said to him

"Oh okay" he said a bit confused "is Zoe alright?"

"Yea, she's good, she's got a puppy actually" I said

"But I don't want to talk about her, or Eric or their relationship, I just want to be here, be with you" I said looking at him

"That's all I want too"he said giving me a hug

"I have snacks with me and I have food, we can get all cuddled up and eat" I said with a smile

And he just smiled at me while shaking his head. We talked a bit about how our day went, he seemed a bit off but when I asked he assured me it was nothing.

We were watching a movie in bed when I looked over at Dele he was not watching the movie at all.

"Bami what's wrong?" I asked as I paused the movie

"Huh?" He asked looking up at me

"You seem really distracted" I said

"No its nothing, it's just the movie, not really into it" he said

"You chose the movie" I said

"I know, I'm also tired maybe we could just sleep" he said

"Dele please talk to me"

"I'm just really tired and I've got some stuff on my mind" he said

"What kind of stuff?" I asked

"Can we talk about it tomorrow, I just want to sleep" he said

"Are you sure?" I asked

"Yes" he said

"Okay"

I turned off the tv and took down the snacks that we had been eating.

I got back in bed with dele not sure of what to say to him.

"Thank you" he said making me turn towards him

"What for?"

"For understanding and just being you" he said

"You don't need to say thank you" I told him and gave him a kiss.

"You should get some sleep" I said

"Good night"

"Good night Bami" I said before turning the lights off.

I was woken up by my alarm and as I stretched over to hug Dele I soon felt he wasn't there. I opened my eyes and he wasn't in the bed beside me and I couldn't hear the shower running. I went downstairs to see if he had gotten up earlier and was maybe eating or something. After searching everywhere he was no where to be found, I was standing in the hallway when the front door opened.

"Hey" Harry said as he walked in

A part of me wanted to jump him and beat him up but I stayed calm.

"Hello" I said "have you by any chance seen Dele, I woke up and he wasn't there" I said

"I'm not sure I haven't seen him" he said

I just nodded before going back to the room, I checked my phone and didn't see anything from dele. I texted him and quickly got a response that he was on his way home.

I changed into clothes that I could wear for work today, I was done just as dele got back.

"Hey, where were you?" I asked

"I couldn't sleep, so I went for a car ride" he said

"Where you out all night?" I asked

"After you fell asleep I couldn't sleep and I just went out and I didn't realize what time it was until my phone alarm went off and it was 7am" he explained

"Why couldn't you sleep?"

"I don't know one of those nights I guess" he said

"I don't think you should go in today, you should sleep and rest" I said to him

"I can't, that's not how this works"

"I'm pretty sure it's not good for your heart to exercise with no sleep" I said

"So you a doctor now?"

"Dele" I said

"I can't offered to miss training sessions because you think that it's not good for me"

"I'm just worried about your well being"

"Well don't" he said snapping at me

"Heard you loud and clear" i said before leaving the room.

I left the house before walking down the road to a cafe, I got an iced coffee and waited for my Uber to arrive.

When I arrived at the grounds I was a bit late and most of the guys were arriving.

"Hey Amelia" winks said as he walked up to me with son and Eric behind him

"Hey, I can't talk, I'm running late" I said to them

"We can walk you in" son said

"Oh Amelia should we tell the boys that new interesting fact that we learnt about Zoe?" Eric asked looking at me

"Ooh I wanna know" winks said

"Well she slept with deles brother" he said not looking away from me once

"She what?" Son asked

"Could you guys give me and Eric some privacy?" I asked the boys and they nodded before leaving

"I don't know what you'll get out of telling everyone that, I don't know if you believe that it'll some how mend your broken heart. Zoe is heartbroken over that and in the moment she did something that felt like a good choice and she ended up regretting it. And I know Eric that you're hurting, but she would never of broken up with you if it wasn't for her family. So instead of going around badmouthing her you should do something useful with your time. You can start off with asking your best friend what's going on in his life" I said to him hoping he would get the message to leave Zoe alone would be loud.

"What's wrong with dele?" He asked

"I'm not sure, he doesn't want to talk to me, maybe he'll want to talk to you" I said

"Alright, and Amelia I'm sorry about the Zoe thing. It's just hard" he said

"I know, it's hard for her too and people try to heal in different ways, but you are or were in love with her and I don't think this is the way to go, I don't know what you've guys have talked about or discussed but it's hard to choose someone else in front of family" I said

"So it was an ultimatum?" He asked

"I have to go I'm late" I said afraid that I had said too much. It wasn't my place to say but I felt for Eric I felt so bad for him.
