"Okay, what's going on, you're both acting weird," Yoongi folds his arms and sits on the end of Jungkook's bed as I close the door behind Jin and I.

"Why did we all have to come to Jungkook's room?" Namjoon asks from where he leans against a wall.

"Because we have an announcement and this makes it feel important," I tell him, and Jungkook chuckles a little.

Jin gestures for me to continue. "Well, tell us what it is then."

Jungkook and I exchange a glance. I subtly shake my head. I don't want to be the one to say it. Jungkook takes a deep breath and then turns his gaze back to the group.

"Taehyung's pregnant."

Every millisecond of silence seems like an eternity. I try and read everyone's faces but they all have blank expressions as they stare at us. Besides Jimin. He looks down at his toes.

And then everyone bursts out laughing.

"Come on, what's the actual thing you were going to tell us?" Hoseok asks between giggles.

"That... um... that is the real thing..." Jungkook stammers.

"Jungkook, we're not dumb. We know basic human biology," Yoongi says.

My nerves are replaced by frustration. I should have expected this. "I thought I did too, but something about a genetic mutation makes it so that a few guys can... you know."

Everyone has stopped laughing now, but I can tell that none of them believe me. I glance over at Jimin for help.

"They're telling the truth, guys," he says.

Yoongi whips his head around to look at him. "You already knew?"

"Yeah. Jungkook asked me to come with him to get a pregnancy test. He explained it all to me. He was really freaking out. I don't think they'd be able to come up with such an elaborate lie, let's be real." Jimin gives everyone a pointed look.

"We are being real, you're the one who's not being real. This is literally impossible," Namjoon says.

"Don't let them trick you, jagi. This is just another one of their tricks." Yoongi puts a hand on Jimin's shoulder.

Jimin looks like he's about to argue, but then his face lights up. "Did you just call me jagi?"

Yoongi's cheeks flush. "I... well... no... kind of..."

"Guys, now is not the time!" Jungkook says in exasperation. "Look, you can choose whether to believe us or not, but we're telling you the truth. You'll be proven wrong soon enough anyway."

"It's just hard to believe when we don't have any proof," Namjoon mumbles.

"I have ultrasound pictures. Would that help?" I suggest. Before I get an answer I dart out of Jungkook's room, run to my own, grab the pictures, and run back. The exercise makes me feel sick.

"Here." I hand the pictures to Namjoon. Everyone gathers around to look.

"Holy..." Hoseok trails off, then looks at me with a gaping mouth and wide eyes. "You're actually pregnant?"

"You're so gullible. Of course he isn't," Yoongi mutters, but he stares hard at the photos.

"Are these definitely your pictures?" Jin asks.

"Yeah, look, his name and the date are here." Namjoon points to a spot on one of them.

"Exactly. It's true," Jimin says.

"Alright, show of hands, who believes us?" I ask, getting sick of this discussion.

Hoseok and Jimin raise their hands.

"Who's unsure?"

Jin and Namjoon hesitantly put their hands in the air.

"And who doesn't believe us at all?"

Yoongi thrusts his hand up.

"Right, okay, good. Well, you'll have to believe us sooner or later," I say through gritted teeth. Jungkook rubs my arm to calm me down.

"Do we leave now?" Yoongi asks.

I roll my eyes. "Whatever."

Yoongi quickly exits and Jimin scrambles after him, mouthing 'sorry' at me. The rest follow.
