Destiny woke up and pulled Bella's clothes on. Her and Carlisle were going to her house to scope it out.
"Are you ready?" Bella asked as the walked downstairs.
"Who's ready for a vampire to potentially be in their house." She joked but Bella didn't smile.
A knock came and Bella rushed to the door. Destiny stopped her.
"Who is it?" Destiny asked sending a mischievous look go Bella.
"It's Edward and Carlisle." Edward said through the door. Bella joined her in the playful look.
"Since when does Edward use doors." The brunette asked suspiciously.
"Since my father is he- Bella, open the door!" He yelled.
Bella laughed "Do you trust him?"
"No, tell us something the real Edward would know." Destiny asked.
"Carlisle walked in on you changing. You had a cat named Babybel."
"How the hell do you know that, Edward?!" Destiny questioned.
"I can read your thoughts." He retorted.
Destiny opened the door and began to attack him, "Stay out of my thoughts!"
Edward dodged her punches with a big smirk on his face. "But you have a different thought process."
Destiny huffed walking over to Carlisle and hugging him. "Eat a butt. Not Bella's either."
The girl in questioned blushed deeply as Edward looked at the white blonde woman with wide eyes.
"Destiny!!!"
------
Carlisle walked out of the house to the 3 waiting outside, "All clear."
"Oh my bed! My beautiful bed!" Destiny cried running into the house.
Carlisle and Edward chuckled and followed her. Bella looked at her silver BMW before walking into the house.
Carlisle found his mate faceplanted in her bed with her butt in the air like a dog.
"I missed you." She said in a muffled voice.
"Missed you, too." Carlisle chuckled. She looked up and blushed.
"Not you. I saw you yesterday." She stuck her tongue out.
"Same with you bed. Did you not go home yesterday?" He retorted and she went silent.
"He's onto us." She buried herself in the blankets.
"You're a strange little woman. Aren't you?" Carlisle caressed her cheek that was peeking out.
"I'm proud of that." Shs said confidently turning to peek her nose out.
"I know you are." He whispered getting up. "I'll be back. We can go out somewhere."
"Doctor. I do believe that you aren't supppsed to fraternize with your patients." She said biting her lip nervously. I mean she did have a man in her room.

Carlisle growled kissing her deeply. She gasped into the kiss before returning it.
"I've waiting three hundred years. I'm not letting you pass me by." He whispered possessively.
Destiny looked behind him to see Edward watching them. He smirked and left.
"Can your son get any creepier?" She asked. He chuckled putting her down.
"I don't think that's in his capabilities." Carlisle whispered.
"Burrrn." Destiny whistled.
-----
"Esme. Can you tell me more about vampires?" Destiny asked sitting at the island.
"What do you want to know?" Esme asked with a smile as she bent over to look at the human.
"Can me and Carlisle date without tempting him?" She asked in a low whisper.
"Honey, Carlisle would never hurt you. He loves you too much already." Esme sat next to her.
Destiny's eyes closed and she wondered about her life. Carlisle as her husband walking with her into forever. Her having crimson eyes and drinking blood from a poor defensely deer slammed into her mind making her jolt awake. She saw white ceiling and books.
"What?" She looked around Carlisle's office as she rose from the couch.
"Esme didn't want to wake you." He explained writing something on the paper.
"I wasn't. I just had a daydream." She swore.
"You were asleep for 2 hours." He stated and she looked up with wide eyes.
"I- Thanks for allowing me to sleep here." She gave up with a frown.
"Your welcome, Destiny. I should take you back home." He said getting up.
"Yes, of course." She put on a fake smile.
-----
She didn't call Carlisle until he next appointment.
The blonde arrived at the doors of the hospital dreading the appointment already. She didn't want to adnit that she feared him. She feared being like him.
"Destiny." He greeted stiffly walking towards her.
"D-Dr. Cullen." She greeted stuttering a bit as her heart raced. All the warmth and compassion seemed to fall flat.
Destiny wanted to cry. She didn't want anyone to see how terrifying he was. The dream had shaken her more than she thought.
"Well, we will discuss your therapy in more detail." This was wrong. She backed away and Carlisle's eyes widened.
"No." She ran away down the steps and into the sprinkling rain. Thoughts of him drinking her blood drifted into her thoughts.
-----
She drove far into Seattle this time. Away. Away from him.

Her house wasn't safe. Charlie's wasn't safe. He would find her.
Destiny tossed and turned screaming as night terrors plagued her. She shot away falling from her bed as she crawled away from a threat that wasn't there.
Her phone rung endlessly with calls from everyone. Charlie. Bella. Carlisle and the kids. Esme.
She answered and she heard his voice drift through the line.
"Where are you?"
"I-" She heard the sound of something break and Alice yelping.
"Alice, what did you see?" Edward's voice drifted through the line.
"Can I speak to her?" Alice asked after a few seconds of silence.
"Hello?"
"A-Alice." She shook violently.
"Don't be scared. I won't hurt you. None of us will hurt you, I promise." Alice whispered endearingly.
"I'm so scared, Alice. I just... I can't bear the thought of him losing control." Destiny whispered almost wondering if he was listening.
Her thoughts were proven correct when Carlisle's voice drifted through the line.
"What did I tell you in the car?" He asked.
"Your self control is impeccable." Destiny stated remembering and calming at his voice.
"Why-" he paused lowing his voice "Why would I hurt you?"
"I'm sorry." She sobbed.
"Where are you?"
"Hotel in Seattle." She whispered not remembering the name.
"I'll find you. Stay where you are." He said and she looked at the clock to see it was 3 am.
"Ok... I think I like you." Destiny blushed. Carlisle's husky voice chuckled and she shuddered.
"I assumed but I'll let you sort your feelings out."
"Your self confidence is astounding." She muttered.
"I'll be there in a bit. Wait for me." He whispered.
"Yessir."
------
After a few minutes, she heard a knock on the door.
"That was quick." She opened the door to see Victoria smiling at her.
"Victoria!" She yelled trying the slam the door but the vampire overpowered her.
"Is that anyway to treat a guest?" She cooed trailing a finger down her cheek.
"Get out!" She screamed kicking at her.
"Carlisle chose a fiesty one." She giggled pulling the girl and slamming her into the ground. Destiny coughed up metallic blood as the air flew from her lungs.
"I hope he kills you. He'll lose control and kill you, Victoria." She growled spitting blood at her. The redhead shook with rage.
"My mate is gonna kill yours, Bitch." Victoria spat.
"I'd like to see him try. Carlisle will fuck him up any day." The human spat in return.
Victoria turned slamming her into the opposite wall.
"My mate wanted you alive. If not then you wouldn't been dead when you disgraced my face with your disgusting human spit."
Destiny looked up, "Whoever said your face was graceful is a terrible liar." She laughed.
Victoria took a step towards her flashing her teeth and Destiny flinched.
"Destiny!" Carlisle ran in snarling lowly at Victoria. The sounding like wild animals fighting for territory.
"Carlisle."
"Victoria, I allow you on my territory and you attack my mate." He clenched his fist.
Victoria smirked but looked shocked as Carlisle's face became enraged.
"A human mate." She almost laughed, "You're joking... You're joking, right?"
Carlisle didn't answer and instead tackled her.
"James!" Victoria screamed and James jumped in through the window.
Tha tracker tackled Carlisle choking him. Destiny could hear cracking and rushed into action. She grabbed a lamp and slammed it on James' head. The vampire growled turning towards her.
"Pick on someone with a dick your own size." James' eyebrow raised.
"You don't have one..." He retorted.
"Exactly." She said. It took a moment before he growled at her. Victoria threatened to help James but Carlisle threw her from the window.
James turned around and jumped after her. Destiny gasped holding her neck as the bruises appeared.
"Are you ok?" She asked him.
"You were almost killed and you're asking me if I'm ok?" Carlisle chuckled.
"Fair point." She hugged him close, "I wanna go home."
"Mine or yours?" He asked picking her up.
"If I said yours, how would you react?" She asked snuggling into his neck.
"I would think that would be the best course of action." He grabbed her keys and phone.
"You ran here?" She asked.
"Faster than my car." He whispered.
"You're faster than a Volvo!?" She was shushed as Carlisle laid her down.
"Little humans should be sleeping." She stuck her tongue out and relaxed.
"I'm scared. I keep having nightmares."
"I'll be there to wake you up." He replied
"Carlisle, I like you a lot." She said as her heart fluttered. She gasped as his arms tighten around her waist.
"Sleep..."
And she did.
Without a single nightmare.

Author here (: This is my first time posting any of my works online, and I hope that you enjoy being welcomed into my world, as much as I enjoy creating it for you! I welcome any and all criticism, so long as it is actually something that can benefit my writing (not just random hating and nothing substantial). This story is edited by Nesryn and ArtemisArrow, my dear friends! The cover of this book is not my property, and if you are the actual owner of the image and would like me to take it down please PM me (: I am posting this to see if it generates any interest. If it does, then I will be planning on making more regular posts for chapters. I am intending this to be one book of a series, titled The Lost Royal. I intend to post, at this point, one chapter a week unless I get onto a roll! If this starts to accrue enough interest where I can start focusing solely on writing then more chapters will be released per week. Thanks for your interest, and I hope you enjoy!
