After getting back from their honeymoon, they made it back to their home. Home sweet home. It's been a while, but she couldn't believe she was Mrs. Fujisaki. Going through what she went through, she managed to marry the man of her dreams.

"Man! It's good to be home!" She threw herself on the bed, spreading herself out.

"Our honeymoon was really fun, but it's relaxing to be where we belong."

"I can't believe we got to go to Paris! You never fail to surprise me, Mizuki."

"Hehe. It's a husband's duty to make his wife happy."

Hearing 'husband' and 'wife' alone makes her feel overjoyed. The bae is her husband, but she still fangirls internally at whatever he does. At the same time, he gives her life lessons, and surprisingly she does the same to him.

"Since it's around dinner time, what would you like to eat?"

"Can you make some American food?"

"Does steak sound good to you?"

"Yes. You're going to make it taste delicious."

"You say that every time!" She smiled while shaking her head.

"It's the truth. Can you wear that cute apron while you cook?"

"You mean the one you recently got me? Sure I guess."

She put the apron one, and started to take out what she needed to cook. "Just as I thought. It looks very cute on you."

"Thank you."

"You're a cute little wife."

She sighed. "The more you distract me, the longer dinner will take. I bet you're starving, right?"

"Not really." His stomach growled, and a blush ran across his face.

"Just occupy yourself while I'm cooking. It'll take about a hour."

In the middle of cooking, she felt a pair of arms go around her waist, a chin in her shoulder, and a body hugging her from behind. "Hi... It's almost done."

"It looks really good, Kendall."

"I try my best. I've never been the best cook, but I've learned to be better at it when I moved here. It's thanks to Subaru and Boss for teaching me."

"You have come so far where you are now. I'm proud of you."

"Aw~ Thank you! Oh! It's about done so let me put them on a plate. Can you let go of me for a minute?"

"I like being like this."

"Do you want your dinner to burn?" He slowly let her go. "Thought so. Don't worry, you can hold me as long as you want after dinner, ok?"

"Promise?"

"Promise."

After eating, they cuddled on the couch while watching T.V. Their legs intertwined and their faces close, it was a nice way to spend the rest of the night.

About a couple months later, Kendall has been waking up with morning sickness every morning. At her last year of college, she had to bail out of class several times due to feeling nausea, so she was spent a majority of the time at the nurse's office. "I will call your doctor to check what's wrong with you."

"Thank you. It's much appreciated."

Later that day, she went over to her doctor's clinic to check what was going on in her body. She was being tested over and over to get an accurate result. After she was done with testing, she waited in the room for the doctor to come back.

The door opened, revealing the doctor. "Mrs. Fujisaki, I have figured out why you have been experiencing morning sickness. It's nothing to worry about. The reason is... You're expecting."

Her eyes widen at the news. No way! She was carrying a life inside her? And his?! They had a little too much fun in their honeymoon, but she didn't expect to be pregnant this soon. "How many weeks am I?"

"You're about to go on your ninth week. Congratulations, Mrs. Fujisaki. I bet your husband will be happy to hear the news."

Will he be happy about having a child at this time? Many thoughts were running through her head. He mentions once that he would like to have children in the future, but to think this soon? She knew that she has to tell him, but how?

Later that day, she was at home waiting for Mizuki to get off from work. "It's in the box. I'm excited but nervous to tell him about this..."

She heard the door unlocking, and scattered herself to sit on the couch, looking through her phone as a way of 'acting natural'.

"I'm home."

She got up from the couch, and went over to him. "Welcome home, dear." And kissed him on the cheek. "How was work today?"

"Everything went well. Are you feeling alright? Did you have to get sent home again?"

"Yeah... But it's nothing serious. Why don't we... Sit down and talk?"

"Um... Ok."

They sat down on the couch, facing towards each other. "What did you want to talk about, Kendall?"

"Well... I want to get your opinion on something. How do you feel about children?"

"Children? They're very cute and pleasant to be around. It would be great if you and I had one of our own one day."

"You think so? But what if 'one day' turned out to to be 'right now'?"

"What do you mean?"

She got the box from the side table, and handed it to him. "Find out for yourself."

Confused, he opened the flat box and opened it. There was a piece of paper covering the actual gift, and he uncovered it, revealing a picture of an ultrasound. "What is this?"

"What does it look like?"

"Is this..? Yours..? You're... Pregnant..?"

"Yup. You and I are going to be parents." In shock, he only stared at her. "Mizuki? Are you ok?"

He pulled her in for a hug, squeezing her tight, but not too tight. "This is... The best news I've heard all day..."

She felt something warm fall on her shoulder. "Are you... Crying?" She had never seen him cry before, so it was a big surprise to see him like that.

"I'm just... So happy. I never thought something like this would ever happen to me... Thank you... Thank you for giving me a family." He put a hand over her stomach, gently rubbing it.

She looked at him, and couldn't help but get teary eyed herself. "I'm glad that you're happy." She said as she petted his hair.

A few months went by, and she was on her second trimester. Her stomach was the average size during pregnancy. She was still going to class and working at her part-time job. Being done for the day, she headed over to the SP room. "Hey guys!"

"Kendall~! Wow! You've gotten big!" Sora said.

"It's only natural. How is work treating you today?"

"Everything's going smoothly. You should take it easy, because... You know."

"I know. Everyone's been saying that to me. My teachers, classmates, friends, my boss, and then you guys. Thank you for your concerns, but I know that I'm supposed to be a little more careful."

"We just want you and the baby to be safe is all."

"Hey Kendall. Mizuki is working on something with Kaiji and Chief. It shouldn't be long."

"Thanks Subaru."

"Have you been eating properly?"

"I have. I've been eating healthier and avoiding junk food for the past five months."

"Good. I found some meals to eat when a woman is going through pregnancy. Here." He handed her a magazine.

"Thanks. I appreciate it."

Soon after, the three other bodyguards came into the room. "Good evening, Ms. Fer- I mean Mrs. Fujisaki. How are you feeling?"

"I'm feeling alright, Katsuragi. Thank you for asking."

"Are you sure?" Mizuki asked in a worried tone.

"Yes. I haven't fainted or fallen or anything bad like that."

"Don't blame him. After all, you're carrying HIS child." Kaiji said.

"I know, but he needs to not worry so much. It's understandable, yeah, but I can look out for myself even in this state."

"Mizuki, you can get off early tonight."

"Yes, sir."

"And Chief is just looking out for you two." Kaiji added.

"You all are so sweet."

Taking care of other things before getting off work, they made it back home. "You're breathing really heavy, are you feeling alright..?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. Don't worry."

"Are you sure you don't feel pain anywhere?"

"To be honest... My feet, legs, and hands feels like it's a little bit swollen."

"Would you like for me to massage them for you?"

"Sure. Thank you."

As they were walking towards the couch, she felt herself getting dizzy, almost collapsing on the ground, but naturally her husband caught her. "Kendall!"

"That's weird... My vision went from just fine to pixels in less than a second..."

"We should go to the doctor to make sure it isn't anything serious."

"Yeah... It's better to be safe than sorry."

They went over to the doctor's clinic to check if there was anything interfering with her pregnancy. They were waiting in the room when the doctor came in. "Is my wife going to be alright?"

The doctor sighed, giving a sign that he had bad news. "Well... We ran your urine through the scanner, and we found something."

The couple's eyes widen. "What do I have..?"

"It turned out to be preeclampsia."

"What does that mean..?"

"Preeclampsia is when a pregnant woman has high blood pressure and high protein in the urine. It's only at the beginning stage, so we can treat it, but..."

"But... What..?"

"There is no cure for it, and... There's a 50/50 chance that you might not survive during childbirth."

"What..? This has to be some kind of joke... Tell me you're joking, doctor..."

He shook his head. "I'm sorry, Mrs. Fujisaki. I have you get admitted at the hospital and see what they can do. Will that be alright with you, Mr. Fujisaki?"

"...Yes. Thank you for your help."

"I'll give you some time for yourselves." With that, he left the room.

Not even a second after, tears were going down Kendall's face. "Mizuki..."

He pulled her close to him, gently rubbing her back, hoping to comfort her even just a little. He was very scared for her, but he knew that she was feeling just as worse.

About four months has passed, and Kendall was going into labor. The bodyguards were all there to comfort Mizuki.

"We're here for you, man..." One by one, they put their hand on his shoulder, giving him moral support.

"Thank you everyone..."

"It's starting any minute now, right? You better get in there."

"Yeah..." He walked away from his co-workers, trying hard not to think about the worst possible outcome.

Three hours into labor, and Kendall successfully gave birth, but her blood pressure was gradually going down. "More oxygen!"

Mizuki saw his newborn getting care from the nurses, and his wife receiving medical attention from a doctor and a few nurses. "Please be ok..."

Later on, Kendall and the baby were in their own room. She was attached to a breathing machine with the meter going steady. Her baby was sound asleep right next to her. Mizuki sat at the side of the bed, looking at his unconscious wife. He looked over and saw his baby sleeping. He got up, and carefully picked up his newborn child, cracking a small smile.

Not long after, he heard his wife groaned in her sleep. She slowly opened her eyes, unaware where she was. "Kendall?"

She turned towards Mizuki's voice. "Mizuki... Am I going to be ok?"

He didn't know the answer himself. "We still didn't get an exact answer. How are you feeling?"

"I'm exhausted and I feel sore everywhere. Oh... You're holding our child..." She said weakly and giving him a sweet smile. "Is it a girl or boy?"

"You brought a precious daughter to our family."

"A girl... What should we name her?"

"I don't have any preferred ones. Do you have something in mind?"

"I was thinking... Krystine."

"Krystine Fujisaki. I like it."

Soon after, the doctor came into the room to tell them the news. Kendall was going to be ok, but she needs to watch her diet so it was put her at risk. Their baby was healthy, showing no signs that she had nothing wrong with her. They were relieved that they could live as a family like they always wanted.
