《Living With The Asshole》Chapter 41

"Are you serious?" I laughed, clutching my stomach as Callum told me yet another embarrassing story about Aaron.
"Oh my God!Shut up! Shut up! Ugh!" Aaron put his head between his hands.
All ten of us —Cole, Trent, Amanda, Elena, Aaron's friends Dylan, Kaden and Callum and his girlfriend Jessica, Aaron and me —were currently having lunch. Saying that it was entertaining would be an understatement.
"No, it's true. I was there too,"Amanda cackled.
"Amanda!" Aaron protested, looking betrayed by his sister.
I almost laughed at the look he gave her. But I grabbed his hand in mine instead.
He slowly turned to look at me. I shot him a reassuring smile. He visibly relaxed, smiling back at me.
"So, Amanda what was that...Oh yeah, something about you wetting your bed..." Aaron smirked evilly at his sister.
"You wouldn't," she whispered, looking horrified.
"So, Trent, you know this one time I was-"
"Aaron!" Amanda interrupted him looking extremely scared.
"Now, Mandy, you shouldn't interrupt your big brother," he tutted, giving her the most sarcastic smile I had ever seen.
"Aaron don't you dare!" she hissed and he just laughed in response.
After that he went on to tell us all the story of how Amanda wet her bed at the age of eleven. Aaron somehow managed to make it sound ten times more hilarious and we all laughed loudly, Trent included.
Amanda just sat in her chair, looking horrified.
"I am so getting you back for this, you asshole," she shot Aaron a glare.
"I'd like to see you try," he snorted, sipping water from his glass.
"Oh, Ashley, did I forget to tell you about that one day when Aaron and I went fishing with Mrs.Baker," she shot Aaron a smug look who stared at her worriedly "whom Aaron had a crush on, by the way. He was so excited about the teeny tiny fish that he'd caught that he jumped around and fell into the water screaming that he'd caught a 'shark'."
We all burst out laughing.

"That is so cute! But honestly?A shark? How old were you?" I laughed.
"Eleven," he replied, trying to seem non chalant as he stuck his fork into his steak.
We laughed even harder. Oh how I loved this boy.
That was pretty much how two hours full of laughter and embarrassing stories flew by.
"Movie."
"Bowling."
"Movie."
"Bowling."
"Ice cream."
"Yes! Thank you Cole," Dylan let out a sigh of relief and fist bumped Cole.
"No, I really want to see this movie! Jess, tell them," Callum nudged his girlfriend who looked very uninterested in the whole discussion. In fact, ever since I'd met her, she had been looking bored out of her mind.
It was safe to say that no one liked her. Other than Callum, of course.
"Yeah, yeah,sure..." she replied absentmindedly staring into the distance.
We ended up going to the mall. We split up from there. Now it was just Cole, Aaron, me and Elena.
"I love that store!Let's go in there!" Elena squealed, dragging me off to yet another store.
Don't get me wrong, I love shopping, I do. But Elena was overenthusiastic about it and I was ready to pass out any minute now.
"I..I can't...Ashy..." Aaron croaked dramatically.
"Are you alright?" I gasped, playing along as I rushed to his side.
"I don't think so,no," he replied, closing his eyes.
"I'm sorry, El but we have a really serious problem here," Cole joined in.
She glared at us."Oh come on you guys! It's only been what, half an hour?"
"Two hours!" the three of us snapped at the same time.
She held her hands up in surrender."Fine, two hours."
With three people glaring at her intensely, she finally caved.
"Okay, fine! We'll go eat first," she sighed dramatically.
"Yay!" Cole cheered, pecking her on the lips.
Aaron and I let out sighs of relief as we headed towards the restaurants.
An hour and a lot of food later, Elena wanted to go back to shopping.

Aaron and I somehow managed to sneak away while she wasn't looking, but poor Cole was still stuck with her.
"Let's get some ice cream!" Aaron grinned happily, tugging at my hand like a little boy.
Well, he was a little boy. A little boy inside the body of a teenager.
We both got ice creams – I got a scoop of chocolate ice cream while Aaron ordered a gigantic sundae.
It baffled me how he didn't have one ounce of fat on that body despite all the eating he did.
"I work out a lot," he said, shoving a large spoonful into his mouth.
I guess my expression gave it away.
"No,you don't."
He raised an eyebrow."How else do you think I have such a hot bod?"
Conceited Aaron was back.
"I don't know. You barely just...just walk to the fridge! That doesn't count as a workout."
He stared at me like I was dumb.
"I'm on the football team," he whispered like it was a secret.
Of course I knew that but...
"But-"
"Oh God,shut up," he shoved a spoonful of ice cream into my mouth.
"You're annoying as hell," I scowled at him.
He smirked in turn."Whatcha gonna do about it, huh?"
I grabbed my spoon and threw it at him. He caught it effortlessly.
He frowned."I'm going to be honest,Ashy. I expected a lot more than that from you."
I narrowed my eyes. He wanted to fight?A fight is what he would get.
With that thought I threw all my ice cream at his face.
"Oh no,you didn't," he chuckled darkly, wiping some of the ice cream from his eyes and mouth with his hand.
And that is how we ended up getting kicked out of the place.
***
"I am going to shower," I cringed, hating the sticky feeling all over my body.
"Can I join?" Aaron wiggled his eyebrows suggestively.
I slapped him on the arm."This is all your fault."
"How is this my fault?" he raised his eyebrows.
"Well, you were the one who started all this."
"I was not."
"You were!"
"If you hadn't stuck that spoon down my -"
He crushed his mouth against mine, kissing me hard. Before I had the chance to kiss him back or push him away,he pulled away.
"Jerk," I breathed out, feeling dizzy. But in a good way. In the best way.
He smiled, kissing me on the cheek."Go shower."
With that he went to his room, leaving me to catch my breath.
I let out a deep breath and shut the door to my room. I took all my clothes off and stepped into the shower.
A long shower later, I put some warm clothes on.
I looked around, noticing how different the room looked. Tomorrow I would be gone.
I went directly to Aaron's room. I breathed his smell in. I smiled, sitting down on his bed.
I could hear the water running in the shower.
A while later, he still hadn't come out. Worried,I decided to check on him. Normally, Aaron would never take more than fifteen minutes to shower.
"Aaron?" I said rapping the door with my knuckles.
"Aaron?Are you oka-Oh my God!"
Out of nowhere, someone jumped on me.
"What the hell! Why would you do that?" I screamed at my idiot of a boyfriend as he clutched his stomach, still laughing hysterically as I pushed him off me.
"I waited for like, twenty minutes to do that.So worth it," he cackled.
"You little..." I glared at him.
He laughed again. And then how could I be mad at him?
I punched his arm playfully before placing my head over his shoulder as his arms went around me.
"You're an idiot, you know that?"
He chuckled."Yes."
He kissed the top of my head before slowly pulling away.
"Let's go to bed."
"But it's only six," I laughed.
"But I want to cuddle and make out with you."
And well, who could say no to that?
