ဒီတောကြီးရဲ့အချိန်ဟာ ကမ္ဘာကြီးရဲ့အချိန်ထက် ပိုမြန်သောနှုန်းနဲ့ ရွေ့လျားနေတာမို့ ရှောင်းကျန့်တို့ စကားများနေချိန်မှာ ညဘက်သို့ အမြန်ရောက်ရှိသွားတာဖြစ်သည်။
ရှောင်းကျန့် ထိတ်လန့်သွားပြီး ဖန်မုဟန်တို့အတွက်လည်း စိုးရိမ်သွားသည်။

သူတို့ပြောနေတုန်း အမှောင်ထဲကနေ ပြေးလာတဲ့အသံအချို့ကို ကြားလိုက်ရသည်။ဝမ်ရိပေါ်က မြင်နေရတာမို့ ဖန်မုဟန်နဲ့ပိုင်ယန်စန်းမှန်း သိလိုက်သည်။
"သူတို့ပြန်ရောက်လာပြီ"
ရှောင်းကျန့် ပျော်ရွှင်သွားပြီး ဖန်မုဟန်တို့ကို အလောတကြီးမေးလိုက်သည်။မဟုတ်လျှင် ဘာမှမမြင်ရတာမို့ သူတို့ကို ကျော်သွားနိုင်သည်လေ။
"မုဟန်...မင်းတို့အဆင်ပြေတယ်မလား"
ရှောင်းကျန့်အသံကြားတော့ ဖန်မုဟန်တို့ရပ်သွားကြပြီး ရှောင်းကျန့်တို့အနားကို လျှောက်လာသည်။ဖန်မုဟန်ကအမောတကောနဲ့ ရှောင်းကျန့်ကို သူတို့ဖြစ်ပျက်ခဲ့တာတွေကို ပြောပြလေသည်။
"ရှောင်းကျန့်...ငါတို့သေပြီမှတ်နေတာ...ငါတို့လေ ကြောက်စရာကောင်းတဲ့အရာကြီးနဲ့ တွေ့ခဲ့တယ်...အဲ့ဒီအရာကြီးက အမဲရောင်အရိပ်ကြီးလိုဖြစ်ပေမဲ့ သူ့ရဲ့မျက်နှာကြီးက ကြောက်စရာကြီး...ဘယ်လောက်တောင်ကြောက်ဖို့ကောင်းလဲဆိုရင် သူ့ရဲ့မျက်နှာကြီးမှာ မျက်နှာပေါင်းများစွာရှိနေတာ...အဲ့မျက်နှာတွေထဲမှာ ရီချုံးမိုတို့မျက်နှာတွေကိုလည်း ငါမြင်ခဲ့သေးတယ်"
ရှောင်းကျန့် ဖန်မုဟန်ပြောတာကို နားထောင်ပြီး ကြောက်လန့်သွားသည်။သူက သရဲဆိုရင်သေအောင်ကြောက်သူမို့ ထိုမျက်နှာမျိုးကို သူမြင်လို့မရပေ။မဟုတ်လျှင် သရဲမသတ်ခင် လိပ်ပြာလွင့်ပြီး အရင်သေသွားလိမ့်မည်။
"သူက မင်းတို့ကို ဘာမှမလုပ်ဘူးလား"

ရှောင်းကျန့် ခေါင်းတငြိမ့်ငြိမ့်နဲ့ နားထောင်နေလိုက်သည်။တုပတစ္ဆေတွေက အခုထိ မီးမထွန်းလာသေးတာကြောင့် သူတို့ ဘာမှမမြင်ရသေးပေ။
ထိုစဥ် ထပ်ပြီးမေ့သွားပြန်တဲ့ အိတ်ကပ်ထဲက ဖုန်းကိုရုတ်တရက်သတိရမိသွားကာ ထုတ်လိုက်သည်။ရုတ်တရက်လက်ကချော်သွားပြီး ဖုန်းက အောက်သို့ပြုတ်ကျသွားသည်။
ရှောင်းကျန့် ကောက်ရန်ပြင်လိုက်စဥ် ဖန်မုဟန်က ဖုန်းကိုကောက်ပေးလာသည်။အခုအချိန်ထိ ငြိမ်နေတဲ့ဝမ်ရိပေါ်ဟာ ရှောင်းကျန့်အစား ဖုန်းကိုယူလိုက်ပြီး ဖန်မုဟန်အနားမှာ ကျောက်ရုပ်သဖွယ်ဖြစ်နေသောပိုင်ယန်စန်းကို ကြည့်လိုက်သည်။

"သူအရမ်းကြောက်သွားလို့ဖြစ်မယ်"
ဖန်မုဟန်က အပြုံးမပျက် ပြန်ဖြေလေသည်။ရှောင်းကျန့်ကတော့ သူတို့ပြောနေတာကို အာရုံမထားဘဲ ဖုန်းမီးကိုသာ ဖွင့်လိုက်သည်။ဖုန်းမီးလင်းတာနဲ့ သူက ဖန်မုဟန်နဲ့ပိုင်ယန်စန်းတို့ကို မြင်နိုင်ရန် သူတို့ဘက်ကို ရွေ့လိုက်သည်။
ရှောင်းကျန့်က ဖန်မုဟန်တို့ကို ရှင်းရှင်းလင်းလင်းမြင်ရချိန်မှာ ပြုံးလိုက်သည်။ဖန်မုဟန်တို့က ဘာဒဏ်ရာမှ ရမလာခဲ့ကြတာကြောင့် ဖြစ်သည်။
သို့သော် အားကောင်းလှတဲ့မျက်လုံးကြောင့် ဖန်မုဟန်ရဲ့လက်ညိုးမှာ အမာရွတ်မရှိတော့တာကိုလည်း မြင်လိုက်ရသည်။သူတို့အလယ်တန်းတုန်းက ဖန်မုဟန်ဟာ ရီချုံးမိုနဲ့ဆော့ရင်း လက်ညိုးမှာဒဏ်ရာရဖူးလေသည်။ဒဏ်ရာက နက်တာမို့ အမာရွတ်သေးသေးလေးတော့ ကျန်ခဲ့သည်။
အခု ဖန်မုဟန်မှာ အမာရွတ်မရှိတော့ ဒါက ဖန်မုဟန်အစစ်မဟုတ်ဘူးလို့ ဆိုလိုတာမလား။ရှောင်းကျန့် ဝမ်ရိပေါ်ကို စိုးရိမ်တကြီးကြည့်မိတော့ ဝမ်ရိပေါ်က သူ့ကိုပြုံးပြလာသဖြင့် စိတ်အေးအေးထားဖို့ပြောနေကြောင်း နားလည်လိုက်သည်။

ဖန်မုဟန်ရှေ့မှာတင် ရှောင်းကျန့် ဝမ်ရိပေါ်နှုတ်ခမ်းအား နမ်းလိုက်တော့သည်။သူက ပြင်းပြင်းပြပြကို နမ်းပြနေပြီး ရိပေါ်ကလည်း သူ့ခါးကို ဖက်ထားတာမို့ ဖန်မုဟန်တို့က လှည့်သွားကြသည်။
ဖန်မုဟန်တို့လှည့်သွားတာနဲ့ ဝမ်ရိပေါ်ဟာ ချက်ချင်းဘဲ သူ့ရဲ့ဓားမြှောင်လေးနဲ့ ဖန်မုဟန်ကို တိုက်ခိုက်လိုက်သည်။ဖန်မုဟန်က ကြိုသိနေသည့်အလား ပြန်ခုခံပြီး သရော်ပြုံး ပြုံးပြလေသည်။

He was once a Biology Graduate Student involved in a special program in Alaska studying Polar Bears. In an ironic twist of fate his life is ended by exactly that which he was trying to study. Now, in a new world, he refuses to be anything but the top of the food chain. IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a story I began writing a year and a half ago and decided to shelf, I'm coming back to it now because I miss writing; however, I have not carved out any time specifically for this and, as of now, it will be something I do on the side for fun. Currently I have 9 chapters plus a prologue written; I'm going to be going through and editting it to be in a present tense (from past), as well as changing some of the story and grammar. On top of that, he also suffers from 'nervous laughter', a condition where animals naturally grin or show their teeth when nervous, stressed, angered, or uncomfortable. Because of these problems he often mistook for a goon or an evil person. With such difficult problems and tough competition, can Sebastian pass through the exam and become a magic knight candidate?
