So I did the Kylie Jenner lip thing with a cap to something...i liked how it looked although it only lasted for like 30 mins, and it bruised my lips. Just, do yourselves a flavor and don't do it. It's a waist of time. You all are beautiful just the way you are ;)

Before I even had time to react to what was inside the bin, my phone vibrated deep within my wet pocket, causing me to cringe. As quickly as I could, I pulled it out and flipped it open.
"What is it Gomez?" I asked, not daring to tell him about Ava.
"Uh, the hundreds of envelopes of weed that I had behind that plywood in the trunk..." he began. "THEY'RE GONE, LUTHER!"
I shrugged, even though Gomez couldn't see it. "Okay...?"
"You wouldn't happen to know where my thousands of dollars worth of pot is, would you?"
I stared into the bin. "Um...you might want to just come back into the house."
Without saying anything else, I slammed the phone shut and shoved it back into my pocket. This certainly was not going as planned. Well, there wasn't really a plan to begin with...
Gomez came bursting in through the door to the basement.
"Luther, what the hell is going on here?" he asked, observing the open bin, yet no Ava.
I gestured with my eyes toward the bin. He walked over to it, peered into it and started muttering curses to himself.
"That clever bitch..." he whispered.
"What did you just call her?" I breathed.
He looked back towards me. "How did she escape?" he asked, ignoring my question.
"How the hell should I know?" I replied defensively. "The bin was still duct taped shut when I went to open it."
He put his hand to his hip and ran his other one over his shiny head.
"We have to find her."
I nodded curtly as we sprinted out of the house. We looked up and down the streets, the rain certainly not making it any easier to see across long distances.

"Gomez, I'm pretty sure that she went back to her house," I shouted to him. He ran towards me.
"Then get in the damn car," he ordered. I hopped into the passenger seat of his jalopy. Gomez ran into his house and came out moments later carrying the bin full of weed. I got out and helped him load it back into the trunk. We got into the car and zoomed to Ava's house.
"Why did you grab the weed?" I asked him.
"Once we find Ava, we are going on a little trip. I need that for money."
"To where?"
He looked over to me, malice in his blazing green eyes. "Some place desert-y."
I lifted a brow but said nothing further. There was no way we were going to Mexico. We weren't too far from the boarders, however. I wandered...
Before the vehicle even came to a stop, I ran out of the car and sprinted towards Ava's house. I bursted through the front door and looked around.
I reached into my pocket, realizing that I hadn't left Ava's car keys in it. I recalled tossing them onto the couch when we first entered the house. Looking over to the couch, I saw that the keys were gone.
"Shit..." I murmured.
I ran back outside. Gomez had gotten out and began walking towards me. "Is she in there?"
"Stop that car!" I shouted.
With a confused look, Gomez looked behind him and ran after me. Inches away from the car parked in front of my house, it suddenly burst forward, zooming down the street, splashing water all over me.
I let out a defeated cry as I ran back to Gomez's car. Gomez got back in and started off after her.
"Lex, if we loose her...we are done for, you know that?"
"My name is not Lex..." I muttered under my breath.
"What?" he asked.
"I said I know."
He rolled his eyes as they narrowed onto the road. The pedal lowered with Gomez's foot to the floor, gaining on Ava. Water splashed all around the car as we chased after her. Her car suddenly began slowing down, stuttering and coughing as it did so. Gomez curiously slowed down as well. We exchanged a glance. What was she doing?

Suddenly, I remembered that her gas gage showed that the tank was near to empty. Smirking, I realized that we were going to catch her. Gomez and I jumped out of the car and ran over to hers.
She had her head covered with her hands, her wet hair draping over her face. The towel wrapped around her was slowly slipping off. Gomez broke the window on the passenger side with his elbow. Ava let out a scream as she looked up. He reached in and unlocked the door. Nodding at me, I opened the door and dragged a kicking Ava out of it.
"Go go go go!" Gomez encouraged. We ran to the jalopy, shoved Ava into the backseat, and started off. I sat in the back with her, restraining her and clasping a hand over her mouth.
"Damn damn damn..." Gomez whispered.
"Calm down Gomez, abduction is always the easiest part."
Ava finally (although I let her) shoved my hand off of her mouth. "Where are you taking me?" she exclaimed, frightened.
"I'm not telling you!" Gomez retorted in an obvious manner. "The less you know, the better." He looked at me through the rear view mirror. "Same goes for you, Lex."
I narrowed my eyes at him. He was relentless.
"Let us just say that we are going to be traveling for a night." Ava's eyebrows curled up. "Good thing I slept in and took a nap today."
She rolled her eyes, trying to hold up the towel that was slipping off. I slowly reached for the top of it and curled my finger around the edge. She realized what I was doing and gasped, pulling away from me. But that was just what I wanted. I leaned forward towards her and made her lay down across the backseat beneath me.
"Stop!" she cried.
"Lex, do whatever the hell you want back there, just please, don't fornicate while I'm driving. This car is old." I rolled my eyes. "And if I wanted to watch porno, I would pay for it."
Turning my gaze back towards a shaking Ava, I looked down at her cleavage and eyed it for a long time, mentally undressing her. I had taken her virginity, she belonged to me. I had every right to her, and she had no right to deny that.
I leaned my head down and began kissing along her unsteady chest and neck. She had goosebumps all across her skin, causing a few to rise across mine as well. I ran my warm tongue over her cold neck, feeling like I was licking an old corpse. Not that that would be the first time I've ever done something like that before...
I reached for her arms that were trying to push me off, and made her wrists stay above her head. Her chest heaved in silent tears that came running down her cheeks. I caught them in my mouth, still warm. I closed my eyes and swirled the tears around in my mouth.
"Gomez," I asked, interpreting my own torture fest. "Can you give me a clue as to where we are going?"
He sighed and looked at me in the rear view mirror. "It's close to where I grew up. The ghetto, or the hood, or whatever you kids call it these days."
I nodded and turned back, resuming what I was doing to Ava, only happier this time.
The ghetto. The hood. Murder city, baby. That was where I was going to fit in perfectly. Or so I thought...
Man...I thought, finally slipping my tongue into Ava's mouth. It's been a very exciting monday...

The Stormcrow Cycle
Once a powerful and lauded witch, Ba'an salu-Ba'an now lives alone in a cave in the desert, waiting to die. When she rescues an outlander from certain death she becomes embroiled in a deadly game of politics and empire, of heart and soul, but worst of all--of hope and love and a chance at a peaceful future. Can a disgraced witch find a reason to live her life again--and if so, what price must she pay? The Stormcrow Cycle is a trilogy comprising of The Exile, The Lion, and Abomination. Tags or genres for each book: The Exile: romance, slice-of-life The Lion: romance, slice-of-life, politics Abomination: tragedy, high/epic fantasy (aka "Everything is on fire!") Updates once a week whenever I have time. Cross-posted on Wattpad and Scribble Hub. The CBMokedi cover will return! Excerpt: She looked down at him again. Young. Healthy, from what she could see, except for the wound that was killing him. He was handsome in a way that suggested a life of wealth and plenty. She did not think he had ever starved. Someone important. Her shadow fell across him, and he frowned. Blearily, he opened his eyes. They were amber and bright, even as he lay dying in the dirt. She could feel his soul, blazing inside of him like a fire refusing to die even as his body began to fail. He met her gaze, eyes widening in what she guessed was surprise—or shock. But he never looked away, staring up at her as though transfixed. Ba’an made her decision. She raised her hand and covered his eyes. In another moment, a murder of crows cawed as they took wing. The man and woman were gone from the road, leaving only the dead staring up into the sky. Note: This is a high-fantasy set in a low-magic world. The first book is largely character-driven and we really only hit the real plot in Book II, so if you're not fond of long epic yarns you ought to skip this one. I also don't include trigger warnings, but mind the "traumatizing content" tag--all societies minus one practice slavery and the world is indeed, rather grim!
