hello hello!! seeing as it's been literally three years since i wrote this, i figured it's time to have a little chat with y'all.

first of all, THANK YOU for the support you've shown me. i am so lucky that this story reached so many people and brought smiles to so many faces. it's brought me so much joy to read y'all's comments or see that someone else has taken an interest in daggers. when i started writing this, i was thirteen years old. i'd just watched les mis for the first time, and after noticing a shortage in stories about my favorite pairing, i decided to write one myself. it was something fun to unwind and practice writing without the pressure of holding it to professional/publication standards.

well, i just turned seventeen, and i don't think i would believe myself if i told my younger self how successful this story's been. i love you all so much.

on that note, i wanted to propose a little idea to you all. my writing style's evolved considerably since i wrote daggers, and i was wondering if any of you would be open to the idea of a rewritten version. don't worry, the story you've grown to love won't change. it's just that going back and reading this, i know that i could make it a thousand times better if i were to rework some of the dialogue and edit some of the descriptions. would y'all be open to that, or would you prefer i leave the original version intact? please let me know!!
