I wake up on the school nurse's bed. As I sat up I start to scream, I didn't think about it, it was more like some kind of reflection. Bev was trying to comfort me but it wasn't helping. I stop screaming when I felt a hand on mine. I opened my eyes slowly, seeing Richie's hand on top of mine, making a circle with his thumb. I looked around and see the whole party there, even Mike.

"The c-clown" I stutter, almost crying again and looking at everybody.

"What clown?" Beverly questioned.

"The one in c-c-class" I pointed at directions where should've class be.

"Look y-y/n, you f-fainted and hit the y-your head," Bill said to me. To make me believe it.

"No there was a clown and Richie was there" I look at Richie, waiting for an answer but he didn't he just look at the ground. I got mad and give my hand away. He looks sad but I didn't care. "Right Rich?" I said it louder making him a little jump on the chair.

"Listen Y/n-" Bev start but I cut her off.

"No, I know what I saw. Henry, he-"

"Henry is okay" Stan answered, not letting me finish my sentence. "We can call him if you want" he added.

"I'm not crazy" I protested. I know I'm not. I started getting more mad. Mike and Ben stayed quiet. Eddie was rubbing his hand nervously.

"We didn't say that-"

"But you know what happened to your mom" Bev cut everyone off. Losers look at her shocked and confused as I start tearing up. A conversation about my mom is really sensitive. I stand up from bed and make my way to the door.

"Y/n" called Richie after me.

"Shut the fuck up Dickhead" he frozen at his spot from his new nickname. He didn't say anything more. Maybe it doesn't look like it, but Richie feels pain inside him. He lied girl he starts to like it, but he could get over it. He said to himself. But he didn't know it wasn't true at all.

"Y/n! I didn't mean it as that" Bev said.

"Shut up" and with that y/n runaway. Losers watched her disappeared. They did it for her safety. They did the right thing.

But lies said out loud don't become true.
