《beautiful dreamer - t. laurence》chapter twenty one

A few months later, and it was finally the day of Josephine March and Charlotte Vaughn's marriage. It was arranged and planned out very carefully.
The wedding itself was beautiful, and Mr March (who was officiating) began to cry in the middle of the vows, which made it incredibly difficult, and funny, to complete the ceremony.
Safe to say, he wasn't the only one who cried. Most of the people in the audience were crying, including Stella and Teddy, who finally had a ring for Stella's finger.
However, the reception was the fun part.
Stella and Teddy got properly drunk, and Dennis nearly broke his neck (long story).
The morning after wasn't fun. Especially for Teddy, who had to explain to his grandfather that he wasn't, in fact, in love with Estella's mother. Although Stella had a sneaking suspicion his grandfather already knew that.
The days after that were uneventful, if you didn't include the wedding planning. Which was incredibly boring, apart from the cake part.
Charlotte and Jo were very much in love and it was very much sickening. Meg and Mr Brooke had gone home with their children, who were now five months old instead of five hours.
The only thing that was planned in stone for the wedding was the fact it was happening. And other than that, they had nothing arranged.
The few months building up to the wedding were stressful and not as exciting as Meg and Charlotte made them out to be. Stella shared the prospective with Jo— "tiring and scary."
But at least the wedding was happening. As long as it was happening, Stella was happy. And so was her fiancé.
Theodore Laurence was incredibly excited for his marriage. He couldn't wait to be forever with the love of his life, even though she was very excitable. He didn't mind it. Not much, anyway.

The day of the second wedding finally came, and Stella was very pleased it didn't start with a pillow in her face or nearly marrying a man her sister loved.
But even still, Stella got cold feet.
"What if he changes his mind? What if he goes back to the day he told me he didn't want to-"
"Estella Jane March that is quite enough! Now hurry up and get washed."
"You know Meg, ever since you had Daisy and Door, you've become very uptight with me. Just because I forget Semi-Detached's name doesn't mean I'm a bad aunt. I'm the best aunt."
Meg laughed, and so did the other sisters. They knew it was true. Daisy and Demi loved Stella.
"Christ, here we go." Stella muttered as her parents walked in when she was in the dress.
"Right, so you aren't going to say someone else's name this time?" Her father checked, and Stella shook her head.
"Not with Teddy." She grinned.
Her father burst into tears.
"Was that the wrong answer? I'll say your name if you want, Father. You can marry him if you really want." Stella joked, hugging her father.
"Oh Stella, you look beautiful." Her mother said as she sat down to do her hair.
"Not you too!" She exclaimed as her mother became teary eyed.
"Déjà vu!"

The ceremony was nothing less than expected of Theodore and Estella. Elegant, but not extravagant. And the vows were spectacular.
"Elle, I have loved you since the moment I met you. Since the second we danced outside because we were too bored with the melodramatics of that fancy party. The day we met, after we helped Meg home, I was on my way home, and I stopped. I turned behind me and you were in the attic with Jo, singing a song I can't remember the tune of. You laughed at something she said and I knew. I knew that I loved you more than I will ever love anybody. Elle, I never believed in love at first sight. I truly believed that you had to know everything about someone to truly love them. But you are perfect, Stel. I knew that you were perfect since the second I saw you. I'm so unbelievably in love with you it hurts, and I can't wait til we spend infinity together."

Stella reached her hand out to wipe away Teddy's tears, and then wiped away her own.
"I don't know what to say, to be honest. I though some sort of supernatural force would take over me and I'd become super lovey dovey, but apparently not. You know, thinking back that was kind of stupid because I don't have a single romantic bone in my body. But I will try to sound as intelligent as you just did. Theodore Laurence, you make me so incredibly happy that sometimes I wonder how my cheeks don't fall off. You make me feel so in love that my heart could stop beating. I adore you, Teddy. No matter what happens, I will always love you more than you will ever know. Forever and always."
The moment the two shared could not be broken by anything. Not the crying, not by the constant wailing from Amy and Dennis, not by the 'ew' from Jo as they kissed, not from anything.
"I may now pronounce you, husband and wife!"
And they were absolutely smitten.

Re:Mento Mori
When Ryuji, a disgruntled salaryman, is supposed to reach an unfortunate end, he is instead thrust into a new world, inhabiting a body that isn't his own. Forced into a world filled with strife and death, can he claim freedom and happiness? Or will his turbulent new life only lead to suffering and pain? As with every time-loop story written by an amateur author, this is heavily inspired by Re:Zero. If I had to explain my book, I would say imagine Re:Zero, but the main character can actually fight people instead of just getting merked every time he meets someone with a weapon. The themes of this story are dark, so be forewarned. This is my first story so keep that in mind while reading it.
