Life in France was hard getting used to at first. It was all very foreign- literally- to the newly married couple, and they were sure it would take more than a month to get used to it.

The first week was spent moving into their new house. The house was large, but not so large it jumped in your face and said 'the owners of this house are extremely wealthy'.

The cheese and wine were a necessity for the moving in week. The furniture was heavy and the weather was hot and made everyone sweaty.

"You know, I think we've made a good decision." Stella said on the second week.

"You think?"

"Yes."

"I was being-"

"I know."

The third week was when they started to settle in. They started to make new friends, like Marius, Esmé, Darcy, Odette, Elliot, and Fraser.

Aside from the friends, they were beginning to feel like they were a part of the community. Everyone was very welcoming, and Stella and Laurie began to really enjoy their time in France.

They missed their families of course, but boats and trains existed, and everything would be okay. Nobody would be forgotten.

Stella had changed. She was no longer Estella Jane March, she was Estella Jane Laurence.

It had a ring to it.

And Teddy absolutely adored it. And he absolutely adored her.
