Seneca's POV

Shivers ran through me as his breath fanned along my neck.

As soon as he told me to flip over, I was done.

It was like my body took over and all logic went right out the window.

The heat that had been building all day exploded and i instantly knew what I needed to cool it down.

I gave him a slight nod to show him my approval.

A gasp escaped my lips as he flipped my body over on the table in one swift motion.

The fact that The mask still covered my eyes made my anticipation for his touch grow. Waiting- not knowing when or where he'd touch first.

I could sense his body close to me just before I felt his hands caress both my breasts. Slowly massaging them. He must have finally removed the gloves and my body was tingling from the sensation.

His fingers caressed over my nipples, and I could feel sparks ignite through me.

The heat and the tingles overwhelmed me, causing my hips to lift off the table as I let out a moan of satisfaction.

His fingers slid lower just past my navel and my hips bucked once again - dying to have his hands just a little lower.

I heard a small growl of appreciation leave his lips and it set something off inside my soul. I needed this man now. Right now.

I reached up and ripped the mask from my eyes and stared forward as my eyes adjusted to the light.

Ace POV

She stared right at me but it was like she hadn't registered who I was just yet.

Should I run. I mean she had to have known it was me- right. I literally said "my sweet Seneca." Did she not notice?

I took the gloves off so she could feel the sparks. I even growled - how many people has she heard growl.

Would she go this far with a random stranger?

Maybe she's not the girl I thought she was.

She was acting like a werewolf in heat.

Honestly I was just planning on giving her a normal massage and then.....

I was pulled from my thoughts as Seneca's hand made contact with my cheek.

Slap. Again.

I reached up to grab her hands gently to keep her from hitting me again. Honestly she'd

probably just hurt herself.

"You crazy son of a b*tch. How dare you touch me like that."

"Shhhhh" i lifted my finger to my lips

"I don't want the worker to come rushing in here."

"Of course you don't. You shouldn't be in here ! ..... Wait how did you get in here ?"

She whisper yelled to me

"Well I may have told that lady that I was your husband and wanted to surprise you with a massage." I rubbed the back of my neck waiting for her response.

"Get out of my way. I'm leaving. Now."

She leaped off the massage table and headed for the door.

I could tell that I startled her when I jumped forward and grabbed her arm.

"Seneca hold on a sec..."

"Get off me Ace. I'm not talking to you. We're NOT fixing this." She said her voice cracking from the built up emotions.

I put my hands up in a 'i surrender kinda way'

" That's fine seneca, but are you sure you wanna go out there like that?"

She turned as red as a tomato when she looked down at herself and saw that she was standing in all of her nakedness.

Her hands flew up and she covered her chest as she headed back towards the table and grabbed a towel.

Id be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed to have my very naked mate covering herself back up. But I knew this wasn't the best time to push my luck.

When she turned back around she had

tears streaming down her face and she stared right into my eyes.

As by instinct I made my way towards her to try to comfort her. But she held her hand out in front of her to stop me.

"Dont. I don't want you to touch me anymore. You didn't have a right to touch me the way you already did tonight."

Tears continued to pour down her face and I know that she felt that I betrayed her.

"Listen seneca, I honestly came here to just give you a basic massage. When I heard that you were coming here - it drove me crazy that another man might be running his hands all over you, so I figured I'd just be your masseuse."

"But you kept going ! You tried to get me to go even further."

"Seneca, when you started getting into the massage and acting the way you were I assumed you realized that it was me. I took precautions to make sure you didn't but once things got heated I thought you knew.

I mean, I said 'my sweet Seneca' and I even growled. You aggreed to flip over.... You mean you did that for someone you thought was a stranger ?"

I felt a little hurt that she would do those things with some random man.

I stared at Seneca and her face looked blank. The tears stopped and I could tell she was thinking hard about this.

"I....I .....I don't know what's going on with me ace. I normally wouldn't do anything like that. But it's like my body's been betraying me lately .... I'm just so.... So ... Hot. In more ways then one."

I had to make sure to control myself After that sentence coming out of my mates mouth. But all I wanted to do was take her right here on that massage table.

I walked slowly towards her and our eyes were locked. I knew that she was thinking the same things as I approached her.

When I was only a foot away - she threw her hand out flat against my chest stopping me.

Tears were filling her eyes once again. "Stop Ace please. I don't want to feel this way towards you.

You ..... you betrayed me. You set me up to find Miles cheating on me. How could you want to watch someone you apparently love so deeply go through such pain."

My heart clenched at her words, I knew that I messed up. I can't be another man in her life disappointing her.

"And then on top of that you go to see my daughter at her school. What was that about are you going to try to take her too !" She shouted

"Seneca I .... can you just let me explain. Please. And if you still don't want anything to do with me - well then I'll be gone."

It hurt me to say those words but I needed her to know that I was serious about her feelings.

"That night when you saw me in the restaurant - I knew -already that you were my mate and it killed me to see you with another man. But then on top of it - well I could smell another female on him. I knew right then that he was a scum bag that didn't need to be around you. And it wasn't just because I wanted you to myself - it's because no one should be disrespected like that."

I took a deep breath calming the thoughts of Miles from my mind.

"And I would never, ever, take your daughter.

I just was curious about her. I wanted to see her and try to understand why you never told me about her. I never planned on going even close to the school but when I saw her crying on the playground - it was in my nature to comfort her. It's like my alpha wolf already recognized her as a part of our pack."

"I don't care Ace - I don't want you near her !"

I heard what Seneca was saying but I could see the conflicting emotions in her eyes.

"Seneca please, just give me another chance to show you what you mean to me."

I edged closer to her - Hoping to see some sort of hint that she was feeling the bond.

"So what's your plan Seneca? Stay with Miles and continue the life you had? Tell me you don't feel something for me. That you don't feel that the universe is somehow pulling you to me. It's fate Seneca - a real life fairytale of sorts. You don't want that?"

"I can't Ace. I can't leave May. She's my - my everything."

"I'm not asking you to leave her."

Seneca POV

"But how would I even begin to think about bringing her into a life like that Ace. And Miles May be a shitty husband but he's a good father - I can't take her completely away from him. And I know what thinking about him does to you"

I thought back to the time that Ace dug his claws into my shoulders and cringed.

"He can be as involved as you want Seneca. We can treat it just like any other humans that re marry. Spilt time - whatever you need. All I know is I want you Seneca. And I'm willing to do whatever you need so that I can have you."

My heart did flutter at the suggestion. This perfect life where we all get along - but I'm more realistic than that I know that that won't last. And May is my number one concern.

I watched as Ace moved closer hoping to get a good reaction from me.

When he was only inches from me he stopped and stared at me and as unsure as I was about all of this I was so hoping that he'd just kiss me already.

He leaned closer and whispered "you smell."

I jumped back "what do you mean I smell?!"

He looked into my eyes and I watched as they flicked to a bright green back and forth.

"You're - you're in heat Seneca."

"What does that mean Ace?"

I stared confused while Ace took calming breaths as he walked away from me - grabbing onto the massage table for support.

"It means that your body is ready to Mate with me. That's why you've been feeling that way and the small you're giving off if making it nearly impossible for me not to fix it for you right now."

His eyes stared into mine and they were still flickering back and forth to a bright green while he groaned in frustration.

"It doesn't make sense because it usually only happens to female werewolves, but I think the strength of my alpha mark may have caused it to happen to you as well."

"Do what do I do to stop it?" I said a little panicked.

Ace let a little smirk out through the frustrated look on his face -" well I can think of a few things."

My body was heating up again and I could feel the warmth centering in at my core at his words.

"Ace ....I ..."

"Don't say anything Seneca I know you're not ready - you need to go right now. I think that the lavender incense is dying out - that's why I can smell you now.

And if you're in heat and you smell your mate well it won't be good."

"Why what will happen to me?!"

"You'll heat up even more and you'll be in such intense pain and the only way to stop it is if I make it go away for you."

Ace's claws started to emerge and puncture the massage table as he held on tighter.

"You have to go right now Seneca- I don't think I can wait any longer." He half growled out.

For a moment my body fought with my mind. I knew I had to leave but everything in my instincts wanted me to stay and let nature take its course.

I took one last look into Ace's now fully bright green eyes abs dashed out the door closing it behind me.
