"I think my heat is getting close," she said abruptly as the realization dawned on her. "Well, that's a hell of a lot of timing," he said as he looked up at her and blinked a few times. He let out a sigh.

"We'll go back to the castle," he said once more.

"I'm not even sure if my heat is nearing, you can't just cancel this visit for that. It's important that you be there." She shook her head.

"It's more important that I keep you somewhere safe when you're going through your heat!"

"I'll be fine," she rolled her eyes and Aiden buried his nose back in the crook of her neck.

They drove through the dense forest for a couple of hours before reaching the highway. They paused for a snack and a restroom break every now and then. Aiden was in a playful mood the entire ride, cracking jokes and teasing her. They finally arrived at the Dawn Pack border when the sun was about to set and the sky was a beautiful shade of orange and gold. When their cars came to a halt in front of the closed gate, the patrol team stationed at the main gate turned towards them. When they noticed the Royal emblems on the cars, they immediately opened the massive iron gates and bowed as their cars passed by. Ariel looked out the tinted window; they were on a dirt road through the woods. Not long after that, a few two-story small houses came into view. Small children running and playing around, adult wolves standing around gossiping, and some running around doing their work. They bowed in respect as soon as they saw the cars pass, and soon a three-story manor house came into view. Ariel turned to face Aiden and his face was stern, void of any emotions, his hand resting lazily over her hand. She was perplexed by his abrupt shift in domain. Wolves around the manor came to a halt and bowed as the car came to a halt in front of the manor. The warriors exited the vehicle, followed by Nick, who stood in front of the vehicle, waiting for Aiden. Aiden was the first to get out of the car, buttoning his suit and he turned around to extend his hand to Ariel. Wolves surrounding them, peered through to see who was inside the car. Ariel exited the car with her hand over his. The wolves growled and snarled at her as soon as they detected her human scent. Aiden drew her closer by her waist and growled loudly at them, followed by his Beta and warriors growls in retaliation for disrespecting their Luna. The power of his growl and the Alpha pheromones caused everyone in the room to cower in fear and submit to him. His grip on her waist tightened as he looked around at all the bowed heads. Soon after, a man in his twenties dashed out of the manor, clutching a woman in his toe. They came to a halt in front of them and bowed

"Greetings, Your Highness. Please excuse my tardiness; we were not informed of His Highness's arrival. I'm Zedan, Alpha of the Dawn Pack's." The young Alpha, dressed in grey slacks and a navy blue shirt, had a head full of messy blonde hair, brown eyes that held a panicked expression, and his breathing was ragged.

"This is my mate and Luna of the pack Lisa." He introduced the brunette beside him by placing his hand on her waist. Her light brown eyes gazed at Aiden and with a sultry smile she bowed and said

"Please to meet you, Your Highness."

Aiden nodded and moved his gaze to Ariel. Zedan and Lisa's gazes shifted to Ariel as well, and while Lisa snarled at her, Ariel tilted her head, as if daring her with her eyes. Aiden growled in warning as Zedan's gaze lingered on Ariel.

"This is my mate and soon to be your Queen. Show her the courtesy she merits." He growled and Zedan bowed, but Lisa continued to snarl at her. Aiden growled a warning at her, and Zedan tried to get her to stop and lower her gaze.

"Lisa, what are you doing? Stop right now!" He shouted in hushed tones.

"She is a human! I'm not going to bow to a lowly human!" Ariel's eyes hardened, and Aiden and their warriors growled at her, protectively surrounding their Luna. Ariel placed her hand on Aiden's chest calming him slightly. Ariel turned to the snarling woman and said in a regal voice

"You're questioning my strength or my authority, Luna Lisa?"

"Don't take my name mu..." Ariel's eyes flashed, she took a few steps forward, towering over the petite frame of the Luna, and said sternly,

"I won't dare to finish the sentence if I were you, Luna." The aura that surrounded Ariel, as well as the look on her face, caused the luna to cower and lower her gaze.

"Warn your Luna and your wolves, Alpha. I don't deal well with disrespect." She forewarned the Alpha, who lowered his gaze.

"Please accept my apologies for her behavior, Your Grace." He offered an apology and they were ushered inside, with Aiden's hand resting protectively on her waist.

After the very warm welcome, they were shown to their respective rooms. Ariel and Aiden took their clothes and placed them inside the small closet. They showered and rested. It was already dark outside, and the pack's Gamma informed them that a welcome dinner was planned for their arrival. Ariel was in the small closet, looking for something to wear, while Aiden was already dressed and waiting for her. She wore a white midi dress with a sweetheart neckline that fell just below her knee. With a waist peplum, decorative buttons on the front, and a slit that ended just above her mid-thigh. She wore off-white stilettos with the dress and wore light makeup with wing eyeliner. Her scarlet red hair was pulled back in a braided bun. She completed her look with a rose gold choker and hoop earrings.

Aiden's gaze was drawn to her as she emerged from the closet. He was dressed in a three-piece grey suit with a dark grey shirt underneath. The first two buttons were undone. While her eyes were boring holes on his body, his eyes were undressing her. The dress fit her like a glove, emphasizing all her curves in the right places and giving him a perfect view of her long leg through the slit. The sweetheart neckline reveals just enough cleavage. Under his heated gaze, she felt hot and bothered. She nipped her lower lip, and the next thing she knew, she was pinned to the wall. His both arms beside her head caging her to him. She was tall, and the two inches of stilettos added to her height, but he easily towered over her. His eyes darkened significantly, and he coaxed his voice to sound sexier.

"You're making things more difficult for me, love. You have no idea what sinful things my beast is currently suggesting to me. And I would love to comply with his suggestions."

His voice and words were enough to weaken her legs and soak her panties in desire. The heat that was slowly creeping close was not helping. Only she knows how she wishes he would comply with her thoughts, but now was not the time. She used all of her strength to push him away and stand tall.

"Yeah, well for now we have our hosts waiting for us."

She walked past him, but he caught her wrist and drew her to his chest. His aroused bulge pressed against her stomach, and he leaned down to whisper in her ears.

"I'm letting you go today, but when the time comes, I'll bend you over every way and fuck you until you can't walk straight."

"I look forward to it then. I'm very flexible." She said in a low voice, winked, and walked out of the room leaving a stunned and very turned on Alpha. Aiden caught up to her, and she smirked; he drew her closer, and they walked towards the dining room.

"You know where the dining hall is?" she inquired

"Yes, I've been here a few times before. When Zedan's grandfather was the Alpha." He responded with his eyes forward and his head held high. Ariel nodded and lifted her chin, squeezing out every last drop of emotion. They entered the dining hall with their heads held high. A powerful aura encircled them, causing the entire room to silently bow and acknowledge their presence. Beta Nick approached them and bowed, followed by the Alpha, Luna, and their Beta. The Alpha couple bowed, and the slight look of disgust that Lisa tried to hide didn't go unnoticed by Ariel. She gave her a sickeningly sweet smile and looked away with a straight face.

"Your Highnesses, this is my Beta Robin." The black-haired man standing beside Alpha Zedan was introduced. He had a fake smile on his face, but Ariel could see right through it. His brown eyes swept up and down over Ariel.

"It is an honor to meet you, Your Highness." He bowed to Aiden and looked at Ariel.

"My Lady," he said as he extended his hand, and Ariel narrowed her eyes. He kissed her knuckles after she extended her hand. A resounding growl shook the hall, and Aiden snatched him by the collar.

"How dare you touch my mate. Do you have a death wish!" He growled at the man, who was staring at him with wide eyes in shock and fear.

"Please accept my apologies, Your Highness. I had no idea." He shook in fear as Aiden's eyes became darker, his beast was clawing at his barrier ready to leap out and claw the man in pieces.

"Aiden, let him down." Ariel ran her hand soothingly over his arms and his head snapped towards her and he let go of the Beta.

"Please excuse us." She grabbed Aiden's arm dragged him outside to which he followed her without any struggle.

"Can you please try to control yourself and your beast?" She asked as soon as they were outside the dining hall in the dark yard of the manor. Her breasts swelled as she crossed her arms. Even in the dark, they could see clearly, and she noticed Aiden's eyes darkening. This time, it's not with rage, but with lust and desire. He pinned her to the wall once more.

"You're driving me and my beast insane, baby." He nipped her earlobe and whispered.

"The heat hasn't even arrived."

"That's what I'm scared about. I'm not sure how I'm going to keep myself in check even though you make me go crazy every day, every moment even without the heat." He said as he lightly kissed her neck and shoulder. His one hand was on her waist, and the other was on her exposed thigh due to the slit. His touches sparked fires wherever they went. He kissed her jawline and pushed his hand higher and higher. Her stomach tightened, and she could feel warmth spreading towards the joint between her thighs. He grabbed her upper thigh and drew her in closer.

"And this heat is supposed to make you go crazy," he said, his lips resting just above hers. Desires pooled as he ran his hand lightly over her thighs, soaking her up. She was out of breath even though they hadn't done anything. When he smelled her arousal, a growl erupted in his chest. He closed his eyes and sniffed the air.

"You smell so good when you're aroused. I'm glad I have an impact on you." When he opened his eyes, they had become even darker. Raw desires were oozing from him, which was driving her insane.

"Let me kiss you, please," he said as he leaned in.

"No," She stood up straight and took his hand off her thigh. She straightened her dress and began to walk. He grabbed her wrist and leaned against the wall, saying

"How long do you think you'll be able to run away from me? I'll catch up to you eventually." She turned slightly

"Just long enough to figure myself and you out then I'll take and give everything you have to offer, willingly!"
