"On your neck Y/n, really?" My mom asked.
"I was going to get his name on my wrist but Jasmine made me get it on my neck." I pointed at Jasmine who's jaw dropped.
"She's lying, her wrist are just too sensitive." She rolled her eyes.
My mom's phone rang and she grabbed it. "You got lucky Y/n." She nodded at me and walked upstairs.
"Phew." I let out a breath.
"That's lame, I wanted you to get a whooping." Quincy sighed.
Vanessa chuckled. "You always want her to get in trouble."
"I wanted her to get in trouble too." Jasmine said sitting down on the couch between Quincy and Vanessa.
"Yeah but you don't like me," I said crossing my arms. "Where's everybody else?"
"You mean where's Summer?" Quincy asked. "They just left out to a movie and then out sightseeing."
"Why didn't you two go?" I asked walking towards them.
"Too lazy to walk around." Vanessa said.
I chuckled shaking my head. "Someone scoot over."
They shook their heads simultaneously. "Mama?" I pouted looking at Vanessa.
"It's a couch over there." She said popping a gummy worm into her mouth.
"But, I want to sit by you." I said.
Quincy scoffed. "Don't fall for it Nessa."
"Trust me, I won't." She smirked up at me.
"Fine." I nodded and then slowly laid across their laps sighing. "Jasmine please don't push me off."
"Nah, I don't have the energy to do that." She said.
I turned my head in Vanessa's lap looking up at her and smiling. "Hi."
She smiled and ran her fingers through my hair. "Hi Y/n."
I winked at her turning my head to face the tv. "What are we watching?"
"Nothing yet." Quincy replied.
I nodded closing my eyes as Vanessa continued to run her fingers through my hair. I slowly drifted off into my thoughts, the three hours of sleep catching up to me.
I placed my hand on Vanessa's bare thigh and subconsciously rubbed my fingers up and down her thigh making her shiver. I wrapped my other arm around her back and scooted closer to her stomach.
I'm really loving this vacation, like a lot. Jasmine and I...bonded? My mom and brother are happy. I'm getting closer to a girl I could eventually fall in love with, which is...
I felt Vanessa's fingers run over my new tattoo.
Which is obviously Summer, Vanessa doesn't want me anyway and even if she did, it would be way too confusing.
Summers good for me, perfect even. She's gorgeous, mature, funny, and let's not forget gorgeous. Versus Vanessa who is also gorgeous, funny like when she jokes around with me, caring like when she forced me to eat that soup even though I wasn't sick, or like on the ride here when she comforted me in the bathroom, and playful like the times we would play fight. But, I shouldn't be comparing Summer to Vanessa because their not the same person.

I'll be happy with just Summer and that's all that matters.
"Stop thinking so hard," Vanessa whispered in my ear. "I can literally see the stress lines on your face."
"Well, stop staring so hard and you wouldn't see my stress lines." I smiled as she softly slapped my cheek.
Yeah, I'll be happy with Summer.

I stirred in my sleep as I heard someone whispering my name.
"Y/n". I slowly opened one eye to see Vanessa leaned over me biting her lip.
I raised a brow and smiled. "Yes mama?" I rasped out.
"I really have to pee." She said.
"Mmm," I hummed closing my eyes. "Hold it."
"Y/n I will push you off this couch and wake everybody up." She mumbled.
I opened my eyes looking around to see Jasmine laying on a sleeping Quincy's shoulder.
"Ugh, fine you butt." I slowly rolled off of everybody landing on the floor with a slight thud.
Vanessa jumped up and ran to the bathroom as I chuckled. I scratched my head and looked at the tv to see an episode of Orange is the new Black that I haven't watched yet.
My eyes widened and I jumped up plugging my ears and walking away. I heard a bump come from the bathroom and then Vanessa groan.
I quickly walked to the door and knocked. "Nessa?"
"Come in." She groaned out.
I opened the door to see her laying on the ground rubbing her head. "Are you okay?" I laughed out squatting down next to her.
She glared at me and smacked my knee. "It's not funny dummy."
I stretched my legs out sitting next to her and pushing her hand off of her forehead. "What happened?" I asked rubbing her head.
She sighed and giggled. "I thought I saw a spider but it was just hair."
I laughed. "You're clumsy as hell."
She bit her lip looking at me. "And you're... gay as hell."
I placed my hand on my chest. "I'm hurt."
She giggled and grabbed my hand placing it back on her forehead. "That felt good, don't stop."
"Oh, that sounded really sexual Nessa," I went back to massaging her head. "Don't make me tell Summer."
She smiled. "Speaking of Summer, when are you asking her to be your girlfriend?"
My heart dropped. "Don't you think it's too soon to be talking about an actual relationship."
"Well, you really like her right?" She frowned her eyebrows.
"Yeah but, I want to make sure she's the one, you know?" I asked moving my hand as Vanessa sat up against the sink.
"You're not sure yet?" She asked.
"I thought a lot of people could've been the one," I shrugged. "Then I'd get my heart broken and realize that I fall for people too quickly."
"Is that bad?" She pulled knees to her chest.

"Falling for someone too quickly?" I scoffed. "Yeah."
"But if your heart knows it wants someone, why not be happy and go with it?" She asked.
Why do I feel like this is getting personal?
"Listen to what you said mama," I leaned forward. "Want, that can mean a lot of things," I shook my head. "It could mean you're infatuated with someone or lusting over someone."
"Or, get this, that you in love with someone." She said.
"It's better to be safe than sorry." I shrugged.
"Do you believe in love at first sight?" She rested her head on her knees.
I shook my head. "You can't fall in love with someone you don't know."
"But sometimes you just know that they're the one." She exclaimed.
"And then you get to know them and realize that they weren't what you thought," I scooted closer to her. "You shouldn't fall in love with someone's looks."
She nodded. "Damn your good."
I chuckled. "You should've been knew that."
She smiled rolling her eyes. I held eye contact with her as my heart started to beat hard against my chest. I don't want to feel this way every time she's around and I hate the fact that I can't control it.
"Why do we always do this?" She whispered.
"What?" I asked.
"Have these subconscious staring contest." She tilted her head.
I smiled softly. "Who knows?"
"Who knows?" She shrugged.
I cleared my throat and moved sitting next to her. "Ew, why'd you come next to me?"
I smiled. "Where else would I come?"
She frowned her eyebrows. "Huh?" Then her eyes widened. "Ew, y/n." She laughed out hitting my shoulder.
"Shut up you love my jokes." I chuckled.
She sighed. "Yeah, I do love..." She paused and glanced down at my lips. "Your jokes."
I nodded. "Yeah my jokes."
She stared into my eyes smiling softly.
Yay, another staring contest to drive my heart crazy.
She slowly leaned closer to me, her breathing getting heavier. "You have no idea how hard this is." She whispered.
I swallowed thickly and let out a shaky breath. "How hard what is?" She bit her lip as her nose brushed against mine. Our breaths mixed together and she reached up gripping my shoulder.
She shook her head sliding her hand up my cheek and running her thumb over my bottom lip. "How hard resisting you is."
I closed my eyes and sighed. I'm not Summers's girlfriend, but how big of an asshole would I be if I made out with her best friend the day after our first date. I really like Summer and I know she likes me, let me not fuck that up. "Stop fucking with my heart Vanessa."
Vanessa laid her forehead on my shoulder and shook her head. "Um, shit."
"You're confusing as hell Nessa." I said leaning my head on her shoulder.
She chuckled. "Right back at you."
"I'm sorry for being so confusing." I whispered in her ear and she shivered.
"Guys we're back!" I heard Travis y'all from downstairs.
Vanessa quickly stood up and glanced down at me. "I'm sorry for being so confusing too." She said then rushed out of the bathroom.
I stood up with a sigh and followed her downstairs. When I got down there Travis instantly spotted me and ran up to me and gripped my hand. "Y/n guess what I got." He said breathlessly.
My eyes widened as I bent down. "What?"
"A guitar," he exclaimed. "Now you can teach me how to play."
I chuckled and gave him a high five. "Hell yeah, where is it?"
"In the car, I can go grab it." He turned to run away but I pulled him back.
"Hold up guess what I got." I said.
"What?" His eyes lit up as I showed him my arm. "Cool, did it hurt?"
I shrugged. "Not as bad as this one." I said showing him my neck.
His eyes widened. "Is that my name?"
"Oh no, it's another Travis." I said sarcastically.
He laughed. "Shut up I know it's my name."
"So why ask?" I smirked.
"Because." He said.
I laughed. "Right."
"I'm going to say hi to mom." He said and ran up the stairs.
I smiled and stood up straight seeing everyone smiling at me. "That was too cute Y/nn." Zayn said coming up to me and pinching my cheeks.
I smacked his hand away. "Stop you gorgeous asshole."
I glanced at Summer who laughed and I quickly looked away feeling guilty.
Why do I feel guilty? I did nothing wrong.
Said every cheater ever.
I shook my head and walked up to her. "Hi Winter, long time no see."
"Mhm, hi stranger." She giggled and leaned forward kissing my cheek.
"Aw, no kiss on the lips?" Gigi asked. "Boo, lame."
I chuckled and wrapped my arms around Summer's waist pulling her into me and sighing as I took in her scent.
"You okay?" She whispered in my ear.
"I'm good." I nodded looking to my left making eye contact with Vanessa who smiled and looked away.
"Y/nn." I quickly turned around as I heard Travis scared voice.
"What's wrong?" I asked walking up to him.
"It's mom, she crying." He whispered.
I nodded. "We have ice cream, get you some and I'll go make sure she's okay."
He slowly walked to Vanessa who looked at me with worried eyes and grabbed Travis's hand.
I turned and walked up to the room my mom was in. She was just happy and smiling, what happened now?
