you sat in the chair in front of deweys desk as he searched for your parents

"did you find them?" you asked, dewey sadly looked at you before answering, "not yet. i hate to ask but, are you sure they stayed at the hilton?" he asked, "by the airport" you nodded

"it's gonna take a little time to find them, i'm sorry" dewey apologized, "it's okay" you sadly nodded, dewey gave you a smile of sympathy before going over to his boss who called him over

"hey, you okay? we're gonna get you out of here, okay?" tate comforted you, "i could've died tonight tate" you finally let out a sob

"but you didn't" tate said, "you didn't and you wanna know why? 'cause you fought back, you fought back like the badass you are" tatum smiled after you let out a laugh

"now we're gonna get you home, and we'll make some hot cocoa, does that sound good?" she smiled, "yeah" you smiled with tears running down your cheeks

as you and tatum waited to go, officers started to freak out in the station, you and tatum looked at each other before looking for dewey

"dewey, what's going on?" you asked once he rushed over to his desk, "another attack, at sids" dewey answered you before rushing out of the station

"sid" you looked at tatum, "cmon let's go!" tatum grabbed your hand before she rushed to her car, the two of you quickly got in and followed dewey to sids house

"holy shit, sid!" tatum yelled as you two ran over to sidney who sat next to an EMT just like you were not too long ago

"oh, my god. sid, i'm so sorry i was late, are you all right?" tatum asked, "tatum, y/n, you two can't be here. this is an official crime scene" dewey told the girls

"cmon second time i told you this" he turned to tatum

"second time?" sid asked, "same thing happened to me" you told sid, "oh, my god. are you okay?" sid asked as she embraced you in a hug, "ask me tomorrow?" you slightly joked

"her dads out of town, she's staying with us tonight too" tatum told dewey, "does mom know?" dewey asked again, "yes, doofus" tatum rolled her eyes

"let's get you out of here" sheriff burke told sid as he helped her out of the ambulance truck

you and tatum slowly helped her to deweys car, this happening to sid made your heart beat the same rate it did an hour ago especially with gale weathers showing up and shoving a camera to your face

"excuse me. is that is that sidney prescott they took away? and did the same thing happen to you?" gale asked as she followed you and tatum to tatums car

"we're not talking to you" tatum said, "what happened to you and sidney?" gale asked you, "none of your damn business" you said, "i heard something about a costume, is that true?" gale asked, causing you to freeze for a second, you slightly shook your head before opening the passenger door

"can either of you tell me anything?" gale asked as she knocked on the passenger window, "yeah, you're a real pain in the ass. leave them alone" tate said before driving off

"thank you for that" you thanked tatum, "of course, i've always wanted to put gale in her place" tate laughed
