"Did anyone of you got hold of Devilin?" Dante asks as he walks inside the meeting room.

"No, none of us asked him to go on any mission or task it seems wherever he is, he is there by his own will" Ryan speaks as he passes out the reports he was holding.

"Connor" Dante nods at the man in surprise to see him there.

"Dante" Connor states in same tone as he opens the file he got.

"Okay, this is so far what we could collect on this short time" Ryan informs them to get all of there attention.

"Wait, where are the witches?" Dante asks as this was the fourth meeting they missed.

"None of them respond to our calls so it's safe to say they will not be joining us" Ethan is the one who answers.

"But they are the council they should be here" Dante argues before keeping quiet as a sinking feeling occurs.

"Don't tell me they are..."

"No, they are not the enemies Dante, Reese left a message that she will not be able to take part in any of the council meetings for the time being as something dire occurred in her clan...

I will inform her about the progress later on" Rom speaks for the girls before the meeting proceeds.

"Okay, so it seems Thomas was involved with some experiments going on here, he had been spending most of his hours either in a lab with UT or alone and other times with Raine...

It is no surprise how he got excess to the codes, but what is a worrisome thing is that what he was doing for hours on end inside the lab" Ryan voices getting the men focused back on the topic.

"Is it not obvious he was playing his part" Dante shrugs his shoulder as he was so done with discussing about the man.

"Yes, but what part was he playing? I mean that person must have some ulterior motive to walk in the enemy line and walk out safely...

He must have come for something; I think I am with Dante on this about Ariel not being the key"

"Why thank you, your approval means a lot" Dante scoffs rolling his eyes while Ryan smirks his way.

"As I was saying...we should re-open the summer pack's case once again"

"Why the Summer pack?" Ethan asks confused.

"He was the one going so far to pretend to be the Alpha of the pack; it is where everything was started so we may get something important from it"

"We did get something important" Dante whispers as a frown occurs on his face.

"What do you mean?" Connor asks this time as he gets alert knowing well it will not be good news.

"That red crystal, the one Devilin took out from Jasmine's doll...wait did he give it to anyone of you?" Dante asks as he looks at the table around the men's face as if remembering it now.

"Not that I know of, nothing about any crystal was said" Enzo shrugs his shoulders as he thinks about it.

"Give me a second, I need to check on something" Dante speaks as he gets up from his seat and walk towards the window pulling his phone out.

"What?" Connor asks as Dante plays with his phone, once he was done, speaking with Ariel.

"He was after that crystal that is why he was after Ariel and in here," he answers back still staring into the space.

"So, where is the Crystal?" Connor asks as he too gets up from his seat.

"With Devilin" Dante replies before Connor questions once again.

"And where is Devilin?"

"Somewhere I cannot get in touch with him" Dante replies with a frown as he clutches the phone in his hand tight.

"We can ask him about it when he gets back, I am sure he will be back soon" Ethan comments as he gets up as well collecting the files knowing the meeting was done.

"Ryan, check on what has kept Deviling so busy for the last few months" Dante voices as he stares at his friend who nods in return.

"Hey, if I remember correctly was it not Devilin who helped us solve the mystery behind the chaos in Summer's pack?" Enzo speaks as he stops turning the pages of the file in his hand.

"What's the point?" Dante asks as he focuses on Enzo who frowns before putting the file away.

"He was able to time travel somehow; he actually went in the past and saw it all"

"Fuck me" Dante whispers in horror.

"I think I have inkling where he is" Enzo grins seeing the expression on Dante's face.

"Fuck me"

"The witch's coven" Ethan laughs shaking his head as he walks out of the room.

"Fuck me hard" Dante curses aloud while the men laugh at him.

"Do you still want me to go find your son?" Ryan teases before he disappears as well before Dante blows him.

"Blue stop right there" Jasmine shouts as she runs behind the girl who was escaping her.

"No" Blue shouts as she looks around to find some place to hide but fails as there was no way.

"I swear to god, Blue, stop right there"

"No, go away" Blue cries as she makes a turns running away from Jasmine.

"Got you" Adrian shouts as he catches Blue and throws her up in the sky making her giggle.

"Papa" the girl pouts as he picks her up and now she is cornered.

"Hey little bugger, what did we talk about not causing trouble for your mother?" Adrian asks trying to be stern to his granddaughter who sniffs with a pout.

"But, I don't want to drink the milk" she complains hugging the man so he will not stay mad at her.

"We also talked how good girls drink their milk," he states as he holds the glass of milk Jasmine brought as this was a daily occurrence in the house.

"Will I get to go with you to see aunt Ariel if I drink it all?" the little girl bargains making no move to drink from the glass.

Adrian shakes his head, as he knows his little bugger is smart and trying to lure him into taking her along with him.

"Only if you drink all of your milk everyday" he bargains, which brings a cute little, frown on her little forehead.

"No fair Papa, how about I drink today and then we can bargain about something else tomorrow?" she replies.

She is smart all right!

"Princess, what did we talk about bugging your grandfather?" Advin's voice brings a yelp from the little girl who hides her face on her grandfather's neck.

"But daddy" she whispers before easily letting go of her Papa as she wraps her arms around her own father.

"That's not a good thing princess, trying to make people do what you like, I don't remember any of us teaching you to do so" Advin lightly scolds his daughter who just turned a year old and who had easily wrapped everyone of the pack around her little fingers.

"I am sorry," she pouts as she plays with her fingers and just like that, her father's heart melts.

"Its okay princess but no doing so okay?" he asks the girl who eagerly nods her head bobbing it up and down.

"Now finish your drink and we will go meet your dear aunt" Adrian speaks as he puts the glass of milk to her mouth and she finishes it all off.

"Good" Advin cheers before passing his daughter to his mate so she can change her clothes.

"Is there any change on mom's health?" Advin asks his father as they wait for their Blue to come out.

"She is getting better day by day, I am sure within the week she will be able to move around and her body is just a bit weak"

"Okay, well if you want you can stay back you know I can go and check on Ariel"

"No, I want to check on her myself, I know with twins and Jasmine around Scar will be well taken care of" he sighs as he turns towards the house before a giggling Blue runs once again.

"She has grown so much in the last few months" Adrian smiles as he watches his little bugger running towards them.

"Yes, for a year old she sure has grown fast"

"It's not something to worry about; she has a strong gene in her" Adrian smiles just as he kneels down to take the girl in his arms.

"Let's move" Blue cheers as she pumps her fist on the air while both her Papa and Daddy laugh at the girl's excitement.

"Hey how are you?" Adrian asks as he opens the door to the room his daughter was in.

Ariel smiles as she looks at her father before Devon helps to sit her up on the bed.

"I am good, how's mom?" she asks the man who smiles sadly at her daughter's way.

"She is fine, don't worry, she wanted to come visit but I refused she is not so strong to travel, but look who I bought along" he grins before a little girl comes out from behind him shyly smiling.

"Blue" Ariel exclaims in surprise as she watches the little girl making her way towards her.

"I bought you something," the girl whispers softly, as she pulls something out of her pocket and hands it to Ariel who happily takes it.

"Grandma, said she misses you and to get well soon" she relays the messages making Devon go aww.

Blue blushes before she runs to hide behind her father's leg.

"I heard your blood is showing positive signs of cure for Engel" Advin speaks as he hugs his sister who nods in return.

"That's good to hear" he sighs happily before pulling away and nodding towards Devon.

"Did you get hold of Devilin?" he asks Devon who shakes his head no.

"I don't think he will show up until he really wants to, he won't get a warm welcome for sure, dad is in ultimate bull's mood" Devon grins before he waves at the little girl holding onto Advin's leg.

"Where on earth has he gone, it's like he has escaped the face of earth all together" Advin comments before he picks up his daughter in his arms who fidgets as she keeps moving in his arms.

"What is it?" Advin asks his daughter as it was unusual of her to make a fuss when he carries her, as it was the other way around. She loves it when someone holds her.

"Can I go outside and play?" she request sweetly.

"This is not a playground princess, you will get lost" Advin denies her request so she pulls her gaze towards Adrian who chuckles before taking her with him.

"Come on" he grunts before they walk outside.

"She so has daddy wrapped around her little fingers" Ariel giggles as she sees them walking out.

"Not just her, but every man on the ground"

"I have never seen dad so happy" Ariel comments and Advin turns to face his sister who sadly smiles their way.

"She would have been nineteen years old now," he whispers as he sadly remembers that fretful day.

"Who are you two talking about?" Devon asks as he looks from Advin to Ariel.

"Our little sister, she was a still born," Ariel sadly informs Devon who nods in return not knowing what else to say.

Raine grunts as she carries the reports she had came to collect from the hospital, she mumbles all through the way as how everyone was exploiting her.

She has barely gotten any sleep and now she had to come collect the reports herself as it seems every one alive and breathing was busy except her.

"Oomph" she falls down as something or someone crashes into her.

Raine grunts as she stares at the ceiling thinking of ways to kill the crasher but before she could speak a word, she once again grunts as someone sits on her chest and giggles.

"Sorry" little Blue apologizes as she pulls Raine's specks off and wears them.

"Who are you?" Raine asks as she smiles at the kid.

"Blue" the girl giggles as she wears the specks and looks around as everything seems so close.

Raine sits up at once and Blue slips onto Raine's lap, a smile graces her face as that name reminds her of few memories she had.

"Who are you here with Blue?" she asks as she does not find anyone rushing to their side to take the girl.

"With my Papa" Blue replies before she gets up from Raine's lap.

"Is your mother's name Jasmine?" Raine asks just in case and the little girl's eyes widens.

"Yes, how did you know, do you know my mommy?" she asks excitedly and before Raine could confirm, a voice calling them makes her look up and she forgets to breathe.

"Blue, how many times do I have to tell you not to run off alone?" Adrian Martin scolds as he rushes towards his granddaughter's way picking up the little girl.

"Look Papa who I found, she is mommy's friend" Blue points out at Raine who still watches the man wide-eyed.

Adrian smiles as his eyes lands on the girl sitting on the floor, he looks around and shakes his head as he can imagine what happened.

"Blue, did you apologize for crashing into her?" Adrian asks his bugger who pouts before she says sorry to Raine.

Adrian once again smiles back at the girl sitting on the floor before he kneels down to pull the girl up.

"Hi, I am sorry for the mess my grand-daughter created, I am..."

"I know who you are, it's really nice meeting you Papa" the words escape from her mouth before she realizes it.

"Um...yeah" Adrian smiles awkwardly as he shakes her hand not knowing what to say.

"Have we met before?" Adrian frowns as he tries to remember the girl as her face looks familiar.

"Papa, let's go back home" Blue complains as a yawn escapes from her before she sucks on her thumb and snuggles in Adrian's chest.

"Okay lets go home, little bugger" Adrian chuckles as he forgets about Raine, he goes to move but stops as he remembers Raine has yet to let go of his hand.

"Um...my hand" he asks as he looks at their hands and Raine slowly let go of it as she watches him walk away with the girl.

She smiles at him, which wipes off from her face when some other people join him. Raine watches as Adrian shifts Blue in his arms before he hugs Ariel who with the help of her mate walks out of her room.

Raine turns her back to the happy family as she holds her hand to her chest and makes her way out of the building quietly.

"Papa" she whispers the words as the first drop of tears starts to fall from her eyes.
