This is in between the time when Devilin disappeared and Devon takes his place as Devilin.

"Try to focus on the light that you see, do not let go of it else you will be trapped in there" Reese voices as Devilin drifts into his sleep.

He walks around trying to find the light he has to get a hold on, he smiles when he finds it. Devilin takes a deep breath as he easily gets back to the past, the one he has been trying to get in for months.

Devilin walks towards the ground of the summer's pack where everything started, the place he got the power to be connected with past.

Even if he do not know how it happened the first time or even why he was the one chosen to be the one, but he is and this opens new doors for him.

Doors that will take him to places that hold secrets and may be he can get answers to things, which no one knows yet.

The only downfall to all of this is just a few minutes into the past and he looses almost all of his energy, but he is getting used to it.

He is getting a hold of things around here better than the first few times and now he does not feel too tired or loose his energy as much.

"I see you came again" a voice from behind him halts him in his step.

Devilin slowly moves around to find Jade, Jasmine's mother standing behind him and he is surprised that she could see him.

"Don't worry I am already dead, but this place has kept me alive. May I know who you might be because it's amazing how you could break through the spell and get a hold of the thread joining the past and present that can change the future" she asks with a smile before the scenery changes and they stand in the garden filled with flowers which were dead a moment ago.

"I am Devilin Carlos, son of Dante," he answers staring at the woman.

"Amazing, did my Jasmine grow up too as well?" she asks before a sad smile grace her face.

"She is married and the last I heard she is pregnant," he answers and that brightens her face.

"Perfect, I am glad Adrian came for help that day. I wish I could have returned the favor"

"Why did you not say anything about the problems going on in your pack?" he asks wanting to know the answer.

"It's not as easy as you think, I had a little one to save but in saving my little one Adrian had to lose his own...

Fate plays a very cruel game, because of my stupidity he lost his little one but my little one ended up with him" she smiles ruefully before walking back towards the house asking him to follow.

"These fallen walls have gone through so much," she whispers touching the walls slowly with her fingers before she turns towards Devilin.

"Tell me Devilin, have you found your mate?" she asks all of a sudden catching him off guard.

"Err..."

"I take that as a yes. So, has she grown beautifully" she asks once again.

"How do you know her?" he asks a bit unsure now about the Lady.

"I know a lot of things that will never be revealed through my mouth," she winks his way playfully before opening a few doors for him.

"Here you go, I can only help you through here, I am glad you came and the next time you see my daughter give my love to her and her new family" she smiles as she points towards a new light which was shining brighter than the one he saw before.

"Follow the light, this one belongs to you" she whispers standing away from the door she opened for him.

"Thank you" Devilin nods her way before stepping in through the door.

"Devilin, they call it Miracle" Jade smiles as the door closes leaving him with a frown but without much thinking, he walks where the light shines brighter.

Devilin gasps as he wakes up from his slumber he coughs as he looks around and finds Reese and Nicole around him.

"Are you alright?" Nicole asks as she hands him a glass of juice.

"I made it through a new door," he answers after a while.

"Did you find something?" Reese asks hopeful but Devilin shakes his head no.

"All I can see was the light, I thought it was close but I could not make it up to where it was" he speaks shaking his head in frustration.

"Don't worry, this is a good progress, all of our hard work is rewarding us back" Nicole speaks positively.

"Yes, it is. Is there anything called Miracle in the witch's world?" he asks as he remembers the last things Jade told him.

"Miracle...no, why?" Reese asks thinking on it for a bit.

"Nothing, can we do this after a while?" he asks as he gets down from the bed he was lying on.

"Yes, only if you are not tired" Reese answers as she checks on his body for any hurt.

"I am good; actually my energy seems to be stronger. Let's do this in a moment" he speaks as he walks out of the room for a while.

"It is actually, don't you think he is glowing a bit. Much more than before and his aura really is growing strong" Nicole speaks as she watches him walk away.

"I wonder what is Miracle" Reese frowns before she goes to prepare things for his next travel.

Devilin sighs once again as he keeps walking towards the light, the more he thinks he is closer the far it gets.

"I will never get to it if this goes on," he grumbles pushing his hands through his hair.

Suddenly, a sound stops him. He frowns trying to focus on what it was.

"What the..." he speaks, as it was someone crying.

He tries to pin point who was it as he cannot believe that someone was in this passageway crying but who?

"Who is it?" he calls and the crying stops all together.

Devilin watches wide-eyed as a bundle o jumps on top of him and clutches him tightly crying loudly.

"Why, why" the cry gets louder and he pushes the head off his chest to his surprise none other than his own mate stares back at him.

"Ad...Adriana" he slowly whispers her name.

Adriana cries hard as she hugs him tight to her and then pushes him away all of a sudden then starts to hit on his chest with both her hands.

"You cheater, liar, you were like a Google to me. Because you have everything, I have been searching for...

Devilin for the life of him does not know what was going on, if this was some sort of trick or not but his mate feels so real and it seems something hurt her bad, something he has no clue about.

"I don't know what I did, but it hurts to see you cry" he whispers holding her tight to him but before she could answer him a frown forms on her face and she disappears into the thin air.

"Devilin, are you alright?" Reese asks as he opens his eyes all of a sudden.

"I need to go back home, for a while" he whispers dreading a few things.

"Okay, we should stop this for a while. Even if your feel less stressed its not good to keep going back and forth it may bring distress," Reese agrees before helping him up.

Devilin stumbles a bit and feels dizzy so he takes hold of the bed for a while.

"What is it?" Reese asks, as he seems worn out.

"I think I over did it for the day, I will see you all later. Thank you" he nods towards the girls before slowly making his way out of the witch's coven he has been staying with for a while and disappearing without anyone's knowledge.

"I am coming home, my stalker?" he whispers as he stares up to the sky, as it was a long time that he has been away.

That thought halts him in his tracks, as he re-thinks of the things his mate said.

"Red...Ariel but...fuck...Devon" he curses as he hurries to where his car was.

Devilin cannot believe that when he was away Devon took his place and now it cost him his mate. He curses his luck, as with everything going on he did not think much about his mate.

He should have come clear to her when he had time but now she was nowhere to be found.

Just a name of hers is all he has with him, which was not enough to search for her and with the strong perfume she used he could not pinpoint her scent.

Devilin feels in a dilemma, as he does not know what to do, he has a few things to solve and then there is the case if his, distressed mate.

Who somehow found a way to show up in the last place he thought he would see her, but how? It took him months to, even reach to that part of the tunnel, so he can easily walk through the past but how did she even entered it?

Was it because they were mates? However, how was it even possible as he had yet to mark her?

All of these questions eat him alive, so with a deep sigh he walks away back to the witch's coven, may be he will find his answers once he tries to go back to the past.

It was not at least for a month of tries, that Devilin finally got hold of the light, he had been trying to get through.

He feels an immediate connection as soon as he steps through the light as if something of his was there.

He clutches his heart a bit, as it starts to beat uncontrollably.

"Fuck" he curses trying to calm it down and it goes back to normal as a breeze pasts through him.

"Miracle" someone shouts, the name and he looks up to find a girl giggling and running around but could not see the face.

"I don't want to" the girl shouts.

"You have no choice," someone shouts back through the trees and Devilin looks around to see who it was finds no one.

A horn in the distance is heard and the girl stops in her tracks.

"He is back," she whispers scared before running once again.

"Hurry Miracle before he finds out" the voice speaks and the silence is all that is left.

Devilin taking the advantage of it follows the girl but before he could find the way, she went through a force stops him.

He tries to pass through whatever the barrier was ahead, but fails.

And, a new light glows luring him towards it, so Devilin walks towards it but his mind goes back to the girl named Miracle.

"Who is Miracle and why am I seeing her past?" he whisper asks to no one before entering the new light.
